Chapter 6 – Silence Before Storm

After class over everybody start to talk among themself.

"Your quirk are strong." said Shoto to me with expressionless face.

"Thank you. You also have pretty stong quirk." I answer him with expressionless face as well. Both of us stop talking and stand there with expressionless face.

"It looking weirddd." said Mina looking towards us.

"It indeed looking weird." said Tsuyu looking at our interaction.

'Well it indeed looking weird. After all both of us speak few words and both of us have expressionless face so it looking rather weird.' after hearing what two girl said thought Takashi himself. 

"Your quirk also pretty useful, Momo. For battle situation it may not be best quirk but for hero it is extremely handy." I said to Momo standing my left. By the way I am not used to Japanese culture yet so I usually don't use honorifics.

"Thank you, Tashiki-san." said Momo.

'Looks like she didn't bother much about me not using honorifics. But I am on fire today, I talked week worth of word.' 

It was a sad story of introverted person...

'Others also coming here, I guess, I will break my record.Yosh' thought all of this with still expressionless face.

"Your quirks are strong. It was pretty manly match." said us Kirishima.

"Thank you, Eijiro." I answered while Shoto nodded.

"Ooo! Can I call you Tashiki? Calling you Smith feels weird."

"Yeah. I prefer that way as well. I didn't get used to Japanese culture yet."

"I was wondering that as well you should be half Japanese right?" the others also look at me curiously. 

"Yes, my father was American. I was living in America until this year."

"Why do you decided to come Japan?" asked Tsuyu.

I paused a few seconds before decided not to tell all story.

"Well, a few things happened." others also understand that I don't want to talk about it so they didn't insist on this. 

"I first thought you would be like those I am above all types." said Kaminari.

"Yeah, you have that ice cold face." said Sato.

"It is reasonable. My quirk cause my facial muscle paralysis so I can't much shown emition on my face." I said without bothering about it.

"Ah, sorry man." Kaminari look embarrassed.

"Yeah" Sato also same.

"No need to bother I used to my face. Also I have rather introverted personality so most people have same impression as you."

Tashiki while looking at TV lost in thoughts again.

'Today was pretty fun. Aside from Bakugo others in class are pretty nice people. Also I was able to clear misunderstanding caused by my face. I have a feeling, life in UA will be pretty good. After this event there should be something important but I can't remember clearly. Looks like it start to show. I can't understand how MC' in those novel can remember even details about some random beggar in the street. It should be some major event but well, if there is some hint I probably remember it.'

After watching others fight he also gained lot from todays class. Although he overpowered his opponents, he didn't get conceit. Even in 1-A there are at least 2 people as strong as him. Bakugo and Shoto. And sooner or later Midoriya will catch them. There is 1-B and upper classes. For example Mirio he still can't think a way to win against him. 

'That guys control over his quirk is frightening. If I can have that kind of control over my quirk, I will be at least become two times stronger than current me. Aside from his micro control his fighting abilities also quiet good. I am also curious about his quirk. Lets say he punch toward your chest and let his fist past you. What will happens if he materialize his arm in your chest. Is it rip you apart? If so his quirk is more overpowered than shown in the anime. Only people like All Might who have strong physic can handle that kind of damage.'

While thinking about such things Takashi felt warm hit his face. Lifting his head, he saw sun rise already. He sighed and start to prepare for school.

"Morning, Takashi" 

"Morning." he greets his classmate and move to his seat. While walking towards his seat he felt piercing glare.

'It look like Bakugo get motivated again. And because I tried to help him it pissed him off.' thought to himself while sitting in his seat.

'Hah, but today isn't a good day. Why there are that much reporters waiting in front of gate.' he remembered a few minutes before.

A few minutes earlier...

"Excuse me! How do you feel about All Might teaching at school?" Takashi looked at rude person who stoped him. She was average height, voluptuous young woman.

'She look beautiful. Well, I will forgive your insolence of stoping me. What?!! I am shallow person?! Of course not but it is way of world. If you have a good look, you will start life one step ahead of others.' while thinking that much in his head he gave simple answer.

"I feel good" said this and walked away without looking back.

'They are annoying. I know, I am good material to put TV but give me some break. Is it crime to be handsome? ' while spouting nonsense in his head Takashi look at Aizawa.

"We need to pick a class president." said Aizawa. 

'Wow, look at them, they look super excited.' well after tired two unusual days, it is normal after hearing first school like activity enough to make them feeling excited.

"Be Quite" loud shot echoed in class.

"This task laden with responsibility. Where you must carry and pull everyone else's weight! Just because you like it doesn't mean you can do it!"

"Only true leader deserve this holy job. So we should.."

"We should?" asked others to Iida who was giving heavy pressure.

"Settle it by vote!!!"

Midoriya and Momo standing in front of class. They both got 3 votes. 'By the way I voted Momo. But Midoriya look really shocked. Iida got 0 votes so he should be one, the other one probably Uraraka.'

"Sensei which one of us president, which one of us vice-president?" asked Momo. Others also look Aizawa.

"We will decided it with rather ancient method."

'What will he do? When he said it like that I also became curius.'

"We will.."

"Flip the coin"

"WHAATTT!!!!"

'Urgg, I felt for it. Sensei you broke my heart, I can never trust anybody again.'

"Well, then we decided it with fair method. Izuku Midoriya president, Momo Yaoyorozu vice-president."

'Yeah, fair you say..'

While I was having fun with my lunch there came a rude voice.

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP..

It was pretty loud. I sighed and stand up from my chair and start to walk towards exit.

'Hah, I know today is not my day. First those rude reporters, now I can't even eat.' I follow others while grumbling in my mind.

I looked my left; I looked my right only saw chaos.

'God sake you are UA students. Why moving around like headless chicken?' yes after hearing alarm sound everybody felt in chaos.

'It will be miracle if not any accident occur.' while I was thinking like that, something funny occur in front of my eyes.

Iida is standing above exit sign with pose of exit man.

'What is he doing? Well not that I bothered though. It is pretty funny.'

'It was pretty impressive with that funny pose he can still calm crowd down.' I was thinking while looking Momo and Midoriya standing in front of class.

"All right President, start us off." said Momo.

"Iıı.. B-Before that I need to say something." said Midoriya with nervous expression. "In the end, I think Iida would be better man for job after all. You prove yourself you can make right judgement and execute it well."

"Yeah!! He's got a point! You did a good job during lunch time." said Kirishima. "Well, I wouldn't minded Midoriya either, of course."

"He reminded me of that warning sign you see on emergency exit." said Kaminari.

"Just choose one already. It's not like we getting any younger here." said Aizawa in blanket with juice in his mouth.

'Hahaha, Momo look cute when pouting. She is right though they decided without asking her opinion. But, "moe gap" they call it like that I guess. When usually serious girl act cute like that, it can be fatal.' 

Like this Iida became President while Momo stayed as Vice-president. And rather slow school day came to end.
