"Uh.. hey. Um what a coincidence for us to meet here!" I said.

"Yeah. No. Don't bullshit me. I know you've been shadowing me for the past week. You think you're smart huh? You wanna fight, come at me!" He bellowed lunging at me.

"Nononono. I just thought you were so cool in that fight against the steam guy. I just wanted to ne your friend." I blurted out.

His hands stopped just short of my neck as he squeaked.

"What?"

"Do you not want to be my friend? Do you hate me?" I said putting on my most innocent look. I had practiced it a thousand times since I was a baby. 

Face my most perfect attack - puppy eyes! Mwahahahaha.

Shocked at my cuteness, he fell into silence for a moment. 

"Are you serious?" He asked.

I nodded earnestly.

"It's just ..I've never had any friends before." 

"Yay! I'm your best friend then!" I cried, with the best cheery impression I could make.

His expression softened as awawardly laughed.

"Yeah. That would be it wouldnt it?" 

Then realizing the situation beyond, he quickly added. 

"This is not a place to start a friendship. Say, why don't we go back to the village?"

Oh! So even he has a soft side. Wanting to protect my innocence. How cute!

I agreed.

"Sure!"

But I couldn't just let it go without teasing him could I?

"But what's behind there?" I asked.

Flustered he answered, 

"N-nothing. Nothing interesting. Lets just go back. Come I'll carry you, you must be tired from walking over right?"

Why refuse a free ride? I agreed and we made our way back to the village.
