The moment the girl ended the call, no more than five minutes passed before a black luxury car came to a stop directly in front of her.

An elderly man in a neat black butler’s suit stepped out from the driver’s seat and promptly opened the passenger door the girl had indicated.

Ignoring the noisy bustle of the people around them, the girl stepped into the car. After making sure she was seated properly, the man returned to the driver’s seat.

The engine started. A low roar followed as he pressed the accelerator, and the car moved off.

During the drive, the girl watched the scenery outside through the window.

“Sebas. Is this not Redblood territory?” the girl spoke up.

The man answered without taking his eyes off the road ahead. “Is there a problem, Hime-sama?”

“Oh. I was merely wondering why there are still humans in our domain. You are not hiding something from me, are you, Sebas?” Her tone lowered slightly.

The man, Sebas, replied calmly, his gaze steady. “By all that is sacred to me, I have nothing that I conceal from you, Hime-sama.”

“Oh. I hope you are not lying. After what happened two hundred years ago, I have no one but you whom I can trust. Not those pests who call themselves humans, nor the new-blood descendants who are not even a century old.”

“It is a great honor that you would place such trust in me, my noble princess.”

“Will the plan for revenge proceed?”

“Yes,” the girl answered firmly.

“Then I will support you to the best of my ability. If there is anything you desire, please say so. I will fulfill it with everything I possess.”

“Oh. You truly are the best of them all. That reminds me. Could you send the person who ruined my mood earlier to the banquet hall? The head administrator of Garden Station should know what to do. If he resists, burn him under the sunlight. I have no need for useless descendants.”

“As you wish.”

Soon after, a file emerged from a concealed compartment located behind the driver’s seat.

“What is this, Sebas?” the girl asked.

“You will surely find it to your liking, Hime-sama. It is the main course we have sought for so long.”

At the mention of the “main course,” the girl’s garnet-red eyes narrowed, revealing a sharp gaze filled with long-buried hatred and hostility.

“Those repulsive inquisitors. Are these the records of their descendants?” she said as she took the stack of files before her and began reading through them one by one.

“Hm…”

“Oh… So some of those wretches have managed to survive…”

“…?”

“Hmm… There is even one attending Otonami Gakuen.”

“Sebas. You are truly remarkable, obtaining all this information in only five years of investigation.”

“You flatter me, Hime-sama.”

“Do not be so modest,” the girl teased her loyal servant.

The girl read every word printed on the pages slowly and calmly, as though savoring each syllable recorded within the report.

“Haha… Hahahahaha…” she suddenly burst into laughter. Even so, Sebas, her loyal servant, was not disturbed by the sound behind him. His gaze remained fixed on the road ahead, his hands deftly guiding the steering wheel with practiced professionalism.

Not long after, the car came to a halt at an intersection some distance away from the Otonami Gakuen complex.

“Hime-sama… we have arrived,” the servant called softly.

The girl returned the stack of files to its place and put her black contact lenses back over the garnet irises she had previously removed and stored in their case to prevent irritation.

“Thank you, Sebas,” she said as she opened the car door. Before she fully stepped out, she added,

“Oh, and call me Kana. Starting today, I am a cheerful second-year girl. Kana Kiyoka,” the girl declared, instantly changing her demeanor. The seriousness that once made her seem distant and frightening vanished, replaced by a bright, friendly, and warm presence in a single moment.
