I'm preserving the author notes.
Dragon Dragon Dragon
nice.
Eri is very cute, almost unreasonably cute
Sis is jelly
The floor is infectious and tempts everyone to pat it
She got up and gave me a popsicle of one of her pockets.
two issues, 1 a popsicle is a frozen treat, why is that in her pocket, 2 out of one of her pockets
Lollipop, Lolly, sucker, etc. is what I'm guessing you meant
Lollipops are not frozen.
I live in a semi-desert biome and even here the lollipops will not melt if you leave them in the shade so I doubt they are frozen.
@Shirokuma then tell me, why was there a popsicle just in her pocket. It's just something I find weird for a hospital to have
@NixolasZinn ? It is normal to keep lollipops in your medical jacket pocket. The sweet part of the lollipop is covered with plastic so it won't get dirty.
@Shirokuma .... are we thinking the same thing? Cause I know the candy lollipop is fairly normal, I'm complaining about the fact that the author has a Popsicle, which in America is a frozen treat, in a pocket of a doctor. Like I find that incredibly weird to just have on hand without having to go to a fridge or something to give it. I was trying to point out a typo and potential wrong word used. I'm genuinely curious, did you miss the quote that I put out, or did you just misinterpret my comment and we continued to have misunderstandings until this point?
@Shirokuma It's all good mate. Looking back at my text, it seems I made it confusing in the first place. So it's mostly my fault this time.
@NixolasZinn It's meant to be a lollipop! Sorry I kind of thought they were the same thing at the time of writing it. I knew they were different but my brain was thinking lollipop! Thanks for mentioning it.
Edit: fixed!
@ImACuteDragon Quite alright mate, it just seemed confusing at the time. I understand the confusion lmao, my sister made the same mistake when she was younger
What kind of lizard is she? She's clearly a dog~!
I like it, it's a bit different from what I usually read. Pretty cute though. I look forward to the next chapter
I wouldn't mind being your uncle or something! Because you're so-so cute
It should be "aunt", not "uncle"
Also, "so-so" has a meaning similar to "somewhat". You probably want to use "so very cute".
Cute dragon girl hoarding blankets. Thank you for noticing that gold and gems aren't comfy to sleep on.
Gold and gems are comfy if your species like sleeping on hard surfaces
Spaced out! Tee-hee. So-so, was meant to be so, so. You know, repeating the same word. It's just, felt like it flowed better that way? Completely forgot about the uncertainty of "so-so" as a tone. Thanks for the feedback!
@ImACuteDragon Fixed uncle problem and changed a bit of the wording for "so-so". o/
Welcome back. Floofy headpads for the dragon.
The fact that she turned cold blooded was a nice touch! It makes sense due to the fact that dragons are depicted as reptilian creatures, making her generally cold at night. So having her pile on the blankets makes a lot of sense. I hope you post the next chapter a pot sooner since it took you a while to release this one.
The only problem with blankets is they wouldn't work with a true poikilothermic animal. Their body will adjust to the ambient temperature around them regardless of the insulation provided by blankets. A heated blanket would be different though. Also dragons are portrayed in all sorts of states depending upon the type of dragon they are. That and there have been reptiles in the distant past that actually were not 'cold-blooded' they regulated their own body temperatures. So its hard to say whether she's a true poikilotherm or not without the author flat out saying she's always at room temperature or she feels warm. But if she feels warm to the touch then she can't be a cold-blooded animal. Its a cute chapter though and besides that, dragons are often depicted as burrowing into cozy dens and curling up. She probably made a blanket den.
@lightningshifter That is very confusing! And interesting! By confusing I mean the read... I tried researching a bit on it actually, but I found that it quickly went into a huge rabbit hole, I still don't quite get it. But yes, she indeed made a blanket den!
@lightningshifter I've known some people to separate the temperature of different parts of a dragon girl, the scaled/dragon parts are cold blooded, and the human parts are warm blooded, that makes them not have a consistent temperature around their whole body, so they gave that as an excuse for using objects to keep warm, cause the higher their body temp, the warmer their cold blooded parts get
@lightningshifter There is also the warmer when awake/active, but cool down in sleep
