The sun rose up a while ago but the sky is a bleak grey colour today.

Unfortunately, my all-night magic training session bore no fruit.

When I try to transform my mana into the mental image of a large ocean, the mana seems to disperse right away.

I’ve been using gradually smaller mental images, but my mana point drains away all the same.

I noticed this whilst I was experimenting with my mental ability already, but it takes several gruelling hours of waiting for my mana point to recover. I’ve only managed to experiment with water a grand total of 5 times now.

(I want a mana potion…)
This is so inefficient, it’s gonna take me days before I figure something out at this rate.

(*sigh*…)

It looks like Julia really isn’t going to tend to the garden today.

The men in armour that arrived with the carriage probably took her huh?
Maybe they’ll release her from slavery? That would be nice.

Usually, Julia would've been spraying water by now behind my back and I’d be looking at Alcazar’s silhouette peeking over here doing Juliana knows what.

Who’s Juliana? It’s a nice name containing 5 of my favourite letters, but I was thinking of God and that name just snuck it’s way into my mind somehow?

Well, whatever, I’ll give this water magic thing one more try for now.
My MP recovered a while ago whilst I was fruitlessly waiting for Julia to arrive.

I should be able to recover my MP by the time the next batch of birds come to assault the garden… and my potion.

I begin to imagine an even smaller mental image than before, hoping that this time 1 mana will be enough to produce the quantity of water I have in mind.

(First was an ocean… now I’m all the way down to a gentle stream of water coming out of a faucet…)

I’m a little reluctant to use the next mental image down my list. But it’s what I’m most familiar with, so I feel more confident in visualising it.

I focus towards the source of my mana and form the mana into the mental image of my former body going for a pee in the toilet.

…I would’ve used the image of Julia watering the garden, but that’s what I tried before the faucet mental image. It also depleted my mana.

Water came out and it’s hitting me in the face for some reason!

I did it! I actually managed to produce water!

(I really hope nobody is looking at me right now.)

I’m lying on my back at the edge of the garden, but I’m apparently rather top-heavy, so my feet are sticking up in the air.

When my mental image of peeing succeeded, a gentle stream of water began slowly projecting around the area where my groin would/should be.

Yes.

If anyone saw me right now, it would basically look like I’m lying down in a field, peeing on myself.

I stop the water magic… my mana point feels drained as per usual, though it feels like I could’ve kept going for a while longer.

I focus on my status~

Confused, I focus on the blessing.

If I used my mental ability right now on some birds, they’d probably just go home and shut themselves indoors for a week.

The sounds of flapping wings approaches.

A few hours have probably passed since I learned water magic and I’m ready to repel another batch of birds.

I carefully listen for the sound of one of the birds disturbing the mud to grab one of the moon flower seeds.

Of course, I just use my tried and trusted mental ability like usual to scare the birds away.

I doubt any birds would get spooked by a scarecrow spraying water on itself.
