Chapter 376

When Kitsune and Klein finished talking to the Queen, they decided to look around the palace. 

Kitsune and Queen Saya had an agreement that she could live in the Kingdom whenever she wanted. 

She won't work under them. However, Klein who was listening to his wife's cold voice smirked. Because Klein understood that Kitsune is big a tsundere. She might act tough and cold but she is a warm person on the inside. 

While walking in the hallway, Klein met someone whom he knew. He raised his hand and greeted the old man. 

"Patriarch!"

He smiled. Klein and Patriarch knew each other because of Mikael, they met when Patriarch visited to see Furrneka. Overall, the old cat and Klein immediately clicked together. 

"Oi, Klein! Haha, I heard that you have a wonderful wedding. I wish you the best! I hope you have a lot of children! Haha!"

The Patriarch hugged him and started laughing. He greeted Kitsune who was hiding her smile. When Patriarch said children, Kitsune imagined the cute babies crawling on her, smiling, and calling her mommy. Her heart fluttered. Now, she was more excited to have children. 

Sadly, because of her lineage as a Beastmen, having a child would be hard. But that didn't stop Kitsune from losing hope. She would definitely get Klein's babies!!

"Patriarch, I have something important to talk about."

Klein's expression changed to serious. He wanted to know about Colt Beckett, or to be exact, Colt Rothschild. 

Klein learned that Colt was last found in the Beastmen Kingdom before he disappeared. Because of that, Christian started looking for him but he disappeared too. 

They thought it was a simple case of a child hiding from his parents, but when they consulted Miriam about it, they realized that both Christian and Colt disappeared on the surface of the Earth. 

Yes, Miriam couldn't find them. She had three possibilities, first Christian and Colt had an Item or Skill that could hide against her Clairvoyance but that was absurd because Miriam would immediately know that.

The second was that they entered the Hidden Dungeon, Miriam couldn't confirm that. 

The last was that they were already dead. However, Miriam should have found their remains if they died. 

Honestly, Klein hoped that none of these three possibilities happened to them. All of the possibility was dangerous for them. 

Klein heard from his brother that entering the Hidden Dungeon was more than suicide. He didn't know what he meant but he understood that his brother won't joke like that, especially if his expression didn't change. 

Klein understood his brother well. 

'My brother met something dangerous in that place…'

That, he confirmed. 

Mikael almost died multiple times in the Hidden Dungeon. If not because of his fourth Skill, perhaps he was already dead. 

"Colt, huh."

When Patriarch heard Colt's name, his face changed into a sad one. He was sad that the young guy disappeared. 

Patriarch talked to Colt before he went to meet his parents, Colt said that it was time to talk to them about the current situation of the world. 

That was the last time he met him.

"King Shenten is very sad too. He is greatly affected."

King Shenten may have a cold expression but Patriarch discerned that Shenten was distressed because Colt was missing. 

King Shenten commanded dozens of Beastmen to find Colt but they all failed. They couldn't find Colt, Christian, or their parents. As if the family of Rothschild disappeared in the face of the earth. 

"I see…"

Klein realized that even Patriarch didn't have a clue as to where Christian and Colt were. Klein already lost a lot and it ached him to know that he couldn't do a thing. Just like in the past.

Mikael and Furrneka teleported into a well-lit place. They looked around and found some people busy talking about some scientific stuff, they were wearing white coats and murmuring something. 

Mikael tilted his head, he looked around. He confirmed that he was teleported into a laboratory. 

However, the most thing that confused him was--

"Here you are, Mikael. I'm waiting for you."

"Chen Yu."

Chen Yu appeared, he was wearing a thick glass and his face looked haggard as if he didn't sleep for weeks. Next to Chen Yu, there was a Dwarf who was holding a bottle of vodka and walking tipsy. 

"Nice to meet you again "

They met each other back in the past. In fact, Mikael was the one who brought him to the Redemption and changed his life. 

Chen Yu understood that he would be a simple Hunter if he didn't meet Mikael at that time. He didn't know that his Skill had the power to build a Flying Fortress. 

"Me too. Glad to see you thriving."

Mikael grinned and shook his hand. 

However, when they touched each other, Chen Yu started vomiting blood. He kneeled and vomited a large amount of blood as if he was throwing the toxins out of his body. 

"Che Yu!"

"Team Leader!"

"I'm fine, don't worry. Guh!"

Chen Yu wiped the blood on his lips. 

"You bastard!"

Even the Dwarf next to Che Yu summoned a hammer and aimed it at Mikael.

Mikael didn't move at all, he was not afraid of anyone. The hammer hit nothing but a gooey black slime. Raven blocked the Dwarf's attack. 

Mikael glanced at Chen Yu with a cold gaze. 

"Did you see it?"

"Yes… I did. Now I know where the Hrunting went!"

Chen Yu smiled and started laughing hysterically. He thought he lost a great weapon but he was happy to know that it went to Mikael. 

"Puhahahahaha!!!"

"Um, Team Leader?"

People looked at Chen Yu with confusion but Chen Yu just laughed and looked at Mikael with awe. 

Chen Yu see a small glimpse of Mikael's power. It sent shivers that even his organs were ruptured. Chen Yu didn't see much, but because he studied the Hrunting, Chen Yu easily guessed that Mikael and Hrunting combined. 

Despite that, Chen Yu was amazed by how Mikael handled this enormous power. As if he became an Item, or perhaps an existence above all. 

'I can read any Item and discern its true worth, it's a mystery how I can use my Skill on him.'

Chen Yu swallowed and asked. 

"Tell me, how does it feel to do the impossible?"
