Chapter 385

"You foolish people, I will tear your bodies and feed them to crows!!"

The black giant crow roared and spread his wings, saying that he would feed them to his brethren. They felt a strong aura coming from the creature, they felt like they were slowly losing their focus. As if multiple realities lingered in their sights but they immediately vanished.

The Elves gathered around the Princess to protect her. However, Princess Belle just crossed her arms and looked at the creature. Making sure that she won't fall under the spell.

"That's Yatagarasu."

She opened her mouth, saying the name of the Legendary Crow. She was the only one who knew the name of this creature.

"Yataga-- what? What the fuck is that?"

Mikael asked, he didn't know what kind of creature the crow was. A crow having three legs was quite terrible in his opinion.

"It's a creature that has to power of 'Guide'."

Princess Belle muttered.

"Guide? You know, the more I listen to you, the more I realize that you're quite abnormal."

Mike grinned at the Princess. He looked around and found that the Elves and even Furrneka were affected by the aura that the crow was releasing. Yet Princess Belle was just standing plainly. She was not affected at all.

"I know how its power works, so it doesn't affect me."

She casually said and Yatagarasu flinched when he listened to them. He felt the danger coming from the weak woman.

"Mind telling me how this Yata-blabla's power works?"

"I can't, you have to learn it yourself."

She shook her head.

"Tch, cheapskate."

He clicked his tongue, raised his weapon, and got ready for the battle.

"No, don't get me wrong. You really have to witness it yourself, that's the only way to counter it."

"Eh~~"

"..."

Princess Belle wanted to speak but the giant crow rushed to kill her. Yatagarasu realized that this woman was dangerous. The creature raised his three claws and aimed them at her head but black lightning stopped him.

"You fool, do you think that your simple weapon can block me again? Hah! Think twice!"

He scoffed.

"This is not an ordinary weapon."

Mikael muttered and the blade directly went towards Yatagarasu's neck. However, something strange happened, Mikael didn't hit him.

"Huh?"

He was confused.

"See? I told you that your attack won't work on me. Not anymore!"

Yatagarasu roared and released a powerful aura, the Elves, together with Furrneka and Princess Belle flew across the place. The Elves tried to protect themselves but the creature's aura was much stronger. They didn't have a chance.

"You woman!! It's strange that you know my name and power, tell me, how did you know it?"

Yatagaru grabbed the Princess and squeezed her body, Princess Belle slightly flinched but her expression didn't change much. Instead, there was a mocking grin on her face.

"Hah! So you don't want to speak, then die!!"

"I think you have to look behind first."

Princess Belle smiled.

Mikael flashed behind the giant crow and slammed his Spear!

Yatagarasu tried to activate his power but he failed. He realized that Mikael immediately found his secret.

"You--!!!"

He rolled and crashed into the wall. His wings were broken but it seemed like the creature was fine, as if losing his wings was not a big deal.

"Are you okay?"

Mikael glanced at Princess Belle who safely landed on the ground. She took out a healing potion and drank it.

"Don't worry about me."

"Seriously, you should say thank you."

Mikael didn't know what to say. From the moment they met in Rio, Mikael could discern that Princess Belle was a master of controlling her emotions. Despite being injured, and her ribs being crushed, she didn't wince nor create any sound. She just spoke at the creature instead.

Mikael shook his head. This woman is one of a kind.

"So did you find out how his Skill works?"

She asked, acting as if her body was fine.

"Yeah, thanks to what you said. So all I have to do is to witness it. If I'm not talented, maybe it will take a long time for me to discern it."

"Un, that's right."

Because of his unparalleled talent, Calix easily learned Yatagarasu's secret. His Skill was related to guiding.

'He can guide my senses, no, it's more like he's showing me a reality over another reality and making it real.'

He couldn't explain it well, but his mind knows what to do.

The reason why his attack failed was that he didn't hit him in the first place, because Yatagarasu's body was not in that place, or perhaps his body was all around the place.

"... Then, this place is--"

"That's right, this whole place is his domain. As long as we are here. We will die."

Princess Belle confirmed like her life was not important.

"I see... Hehe.'

Calix chuckled, looking at the crow.

"So, show me your true self. No, show me all of your true self."

Mikael grinned at the giant crow. This was the first time he met something so close to...

.........

......

...

The Nine-Tails could command the mana around him/her. It was said that they were loved by nature/mana.

Raijin had the authority of lightning, he can control the lightning back when he was alive and had a giant body.

The Black Tortoise has an impregnable defense, even the Demons had a hard time fighting the gentle yet ferocious creature of the sea.

As for Leviathan, forsaken his Throne, he morphed into a unique creature, and born new. With his power as a Demon Lord once, he had this corruption-like energy that frightened even his own brethren, aside from that, he had limitless madness.

Every Legendary Creature has their own unique ability, representing itself. Being a Legendary Creature means that they can bend the will of nature, one way or another.

And Yatagarasu has that power.

As a creature who wields the power of 'Guiding'. He can manipulate a certain area and guide every possible reality of him to manifest. In a way, Yatagarasu is immortal as long as he's within his domain.

That explains why a bird creature like him didn't leave this place because he is bound.
