Chapter 387

The Legendary Creature kept spawning all around the place, the wide lair was quickly filled with bodies of giant crows stacking up. Blood and organs were all around and even the well-lit place turned red.

Mikael was laughing hysterically while swinging his Spear. As expected, nothing beats fresh blood in the morning. Especially if the blood was coming from screaming creatures. Mikael literally butchered these poor birds.

Yatagarasu witnessed every one of himself falling to the ground. That was the first time that he witnessed this thing. Mikael is not a person or anything at all. He's a Demon or much more than that.

Yatagarasu had confidence in himself. Yes, his main power comes from his ability to guide his every self to this one reality. But he had enough speed and strength to kill a God like Mikael. In fact, he killed dozens back in the past. However, Mikael is different.

The fact that Yatagarasu was looking at Mikael who was smiling crazily while killing birds had sent shivers down to his very core. As if he realized that there was a more frightening entity than a Demon Lord.

"… N- no… This is not true… Nooooooo!!!"

The Legendary Creature screamed desperately. He had two million and sixty-nine thousand versions of himself, but Mikael already killed three hundred thousand Yatagarasu.

If this continued, Yatagarasu understood that his existence would vanish. He was different from the Nine-Tails that passed on their powers through generations. Yatagarasu was living through swapping with another Yatagarasu in another universe.

That's why Yatagarasu had to stop this. Or else his existence from different universes would disappear.

"S- Stop!!! Stop!!! What do you want!!?"

His voice became desperate. He glared at Mikael who was covered with his blood. This monster was having fun killing him. He couldn't believe that there was a person like Mikael, who could grin at this moment. As if this situation was fun.

"Huh? Why though? It's getting interesting. I can expand this place so that we have enough space to fight, what do you think?"

He said innocently. He looked at this battle like nothing but a game, a game of slaughter.

This further confirmed Yatagasu to stop the battle.

"N- no. I'll give you what you want. Just stop."

He was practically begging at this point.

"Eh? But I don't want to."

Mikael was acting like a child who wanted to keep playing in the playground.

"This guy… Just tell me what you want. I'll give it to you. Do you want to take some Items? I have unique ones here."

Yatagarasu amassed them when he killed the monsters in the Dungeon.

"… Hm, let me think."

Mikael put his fingers on his chin and started thinking. Yatagarasu was nervous the whole time, he looked at his other selves. They were injured badly, blood dripping around.

This guy kept bombarding the place with lightning. Whenever they were close to catching him, Mikael would turn into a bolt of lightning and change location, then this cycle would repeat until they successfully touched him.

However, when they touched Mikael, they died instead. Mikael released a powerful Shock that roasted them alive. That's when they realized that Mikael is unbeatable.

Any physical attack won't work on him. Furthermore, Mikael had the instinct to fight them head-on without a problem. As if he experienced far more danger than this.

'Indeed, once I stepped into the Room 50 and onwards. Every monster I fought had the strength of a Legendary Creature. Of course they didn't have the mystic power of a Legendary Creature but their ferocity and physical strength are there.'

He recalled those moments.

'Ah, good old times.'

Slowly but surely, Mikael was becoming blurred.

'I wonder if this crow is Itachi's pet. I mean, this crow's power is like a genjutsu!'

But of course, Mikael is still Mikael. He would think of something stupid even in the middle of this serious battle.

"Okay, I made a decision."

"Ah, thank the good creator. Then, what do you want? I have this ring that can increase your speed whenever you fought four-walking monsters. I have this plants that can ease your depression, it's called Maryjane--"

"I got it. I know what I want."

Mikael stopped the giant crow from talking.

"Okay choose."

Yatagarasu was happy that he could negotiate with Mikael. He didn't want to lose any more of his sparring lives. Even immortals have their end.

"I want to…"

Yatagarasu was seriously listening. Sighing softly, knowing that this battle would end at last. They were fighting for five hours straight and Mikael already filled the lair with his bodies, it ached his heart so much. Even himself, was stepping on his bodies right now because the whole ground was covered with bodies, his bodies from different universes.

He couldn't believe that this thing would happen to him.

'The concept of other worlds…'

"I want to continue fighting you until there are only ten remaining."

"What?"

The giant crow trembled, stupified, and didn't know what to say.

"I mean what I said. I will keep fighting (killing) you until there are only ten left. At least I didn't kill you, personally."

"But that's genocide!!"

The crow roared. He lost his arrogance when the battle turned halfway. He realized that he couldn't beat Mikael, this guy is almost impossible to touch.

"Well, what do you think?"

"No, I will not agree to any of this. You're going to kill millions of lives!!"

"Technically, I'm only killing one. They are your identity, yourself. Besides, heh, I already killed more than that."

He was serious as his golden eyes glowed. Mikael indeed caused genocide long before. Humans, Beastmen, Succubus, Methuselahs, Demons, and even the gentle Elves, Mikael killed them. He was in a rage at that time.

Anything that moves, Mikael kills them.

It was a good thing that Furrneka was not there, or else she might die too.

Mikael was in a state of grieving at that time, all he wanted was to cause havoc.

"Here I come~~"

He started dashing towards the frightened giant crows, with a wide grin on his face.
