Chapter 394

"Tch."

She clicked her tongue and glared at the peaceful three(Raijin, Raven, and Princess Belle). Raijin and Raven were calmly sleeping on Princess Belle and she was petting them gently. Humming like a mother who was helping her children sleep. 

"Hmmph!!"

The cat woman harrumphed. She could do it too! But the two pets didn't try it on her, never at all. 

'After this, I will talk to them, I'll say that they can cuddle with me too.'

She thought. She was thinking of domesticating them, domestic violence maybe.

"That's right."

She nodded. 

Then, she glanced at Mikael who was mad too. The guy was looking at Raijin and Raven with envy. As if he wanted to rest on the woman's lap too! 

"Mikael, where are you looking at?"

Furrneka asked, her voice cold. Growling and ready to bite. 

Mikael flinched and almost jumped out of surprise. He shook his head and started saying some excuses. 

"N- nothing. I'm just thinking that the weather is nice."

He said and the woman clicked her tongue. 

"Tch, the sky is dark for the whole month. The weather is never nice."

He immediately turned to Chen Yu and Remington who were inspecting the expansion box to escape her gaze. 

Mikael looked around. He found dozens of scientists checking the parameters and staring at the hundreds of monitors that were showing some graphs and codes. 

They were in the middle of a wide space. On the west side, there was a huge sphere of metal and crystals that were shimmering. It was made of resources from different dungeons. Indeed, it was the machine that these people developed. The device that would take them to the Underworld. 

Mikael was amazed that these people could create this type of technology. Indeed, humanity's imagination was endless. As long as a man has a dream, he will find a way to make it real. Truly the wonders of the universe, doing the impossible possible. 

Back in the past, no one would believe that people could communicate through phones, but it happened. No one would believe that people could travel through the sky, but the airplane was created. No one thought that this novel would have a million views, but it would happen, one way or another... Well, it was already done. 

"Hey, Mikael… I didn't know that you will bring a lot of chickens."

Remington muttered while looking at the hundreds of dead bodies that came out of the expansion box. He chugged a bottle of beer and sighed. The hall was 200 meters wide yet almost 2/5 of the place was filled with dead bodies of crows.

"I thought You were going to bring at least three or four… But hundreds of thousands?"

Chen Yu added too. He gulped, he knew that it would be impossible to fight hundreds of these, yet Mikael butchered them. He imagined how gruesome it was. 

"First of all, they are not chickens. They are crows. And they are not ordinary crows. Look at their legs, they have three."

Mikael corrected. Smirking at their reactions. These plebs were amazed at his strength. Although they were afraid more than amazed. Particularly the other scientists, who were looking at Mikael with fear. 

 

 Some of them were ordinary people but they could sense the dreadful presence that the dead crows were releasing. And this guy, Mikael Tibano, killed them, hundreds of thousands of them.

It was enough to show what Mikael could do. Right now, they were stepping on(in) a Legendary Creature, the Black Tortoise. The Black Tortoise fought Demons and his defense is almost impregnable. Yet, Mikael killed a Legendary Creature like Black Tortoise, not one, but thousands. 

The scientists gulped hard, their eyes almost popped out of their heads as they witness hundreds of crows flowing out of the expansion box, filling the place. 

"S- stop! Any more than this and this place will get packed with dead monsters!"

Remington yelled and they began closing the expansion box. 

"Phew… This is enough."

Chen Yu said. He looked around, almost half of the hall was filled with bodies. The worst part was that blood was coming from the bodies, flooding the place. 

Chen Yu's face was pale. He didn't like the sight of blood. 

"I know that we need a lot of blood as fuel to open the portal… but I didn't expect that this place will be filled with them."

He shook his head. Their expectations were met, even surpassed. Mikael brought more than the initial need. 

"Anyway, maybe we can preserve the bodies in case we have to open the portal for the second time or more."

He added. 

"Hehe, I passed right? I'm great right?"

Mikael asked, crossing his arms, acting high and mighty. Well, he indeed has the right to do so. Because no one could do it like him. He had a wide toothy grin on his face. 

Chen Yu wanted to retort but it was futile. This guy, Mikael, almost threatened him to join the Redemption when they first met.

'If not because of the salary, I will never follow him…But I know that he will use violence to convince me instead.'

Anyway, Chen Yu understood that Mikael is a bastard. A strong bastard. 

"Yes, you are the best of all. No one is like you, oh great Mikael. The strongest of all."

Chen Yu sarcastically said but Mikael didn't sense the sarcasm. Mikael started laughing, happy to get complimented.

"Hehe, praise me more!"

He rubbed his nose, smiling. 

"Yes yes~"

Chen Yu rolled his eyes and approached the sphere. They created this machine almost a decade. After Chen Yu finished the Flying Fortress, Kyle immediately gave him another project to focus on, the creation of a portal that would connect them to the Underworld. 

'At first, I didn't know what he was thinking, but after everything that happened, I can confirm that Kyle is a freak... A genius freak. Damn, now after this, he's asking me to create another Flying Fortress. That bastard...'

Elizabeth destroyed the last Flying Fortress and Chen Yu was the leading person who created it. So in a way, Chen Yu was the only one who could create the Flying Fortress. 

"Now, let's start the experiment."

Chen Yu announced and the scientists started their job. They started typing some codes and programs into the system and powered up the sphere. 

Furrneka lost her interest in the pets and looked at the project. Even Princess Belle stopped petting Raijin and Raven. The two girls watched the experiment. They both feel the dreadful aura of corruption.
