Chapter 408

Princess Belle walked ahead and Elder Seigh followed her. The elder was really agitated about why Princess Belle was adamant to meet them. 

Elder Siegh was not that stupid, he understood that the Princess had a reason why she wanted to meet them, particularly Mikael. 

'The question is, does the Princess wants to meet Mikael because it's connected to the Visions she saw? Or she wants to see him because she has feelings for him?'

Elder Seigh hoped that the latter was not the answer. After all, Mikael had a relationship with Niña, the woman who assassinated Princess Celine. 

If Mikael and Princess Belle started a relationship, the Elves won't easily accept it. 

But no matter what, as a person who swore his loyalty to the Princess, Elder Seigh would follow her commands. Princess Belle has done a lot of things for the Elves, her existence was the reason why they were still alive. It couldn't change the fact that she was their trump card. 

'The World Tree is still growing, even the water from Poseidon's Trident is not enough to grow it faster. Maybe it will take around a decade for the World Tree to gain its power.'

And right now, the world was in crisis and Demons were invading everywhere. Even now, people were dying. Every piece of land was getting corrupted.

Mikael and the others were startled hearing the eruption as they entered the clinic. Yet Princess Belle who was ahead of them was unfazed as if she already predicted this. 

As they got closer, they confirmed that there was arm-wrestling happening. It was already five minutes when the battle began and the two were still fighting. 

No one wanted to lose. Captain James was staring at Jose with a fierce gaze as the veins in his arm bulked up. 

As for Jose, he was giving his all too. He didn't want to lose and give a face to these Beastmen. The Hunters and Beastmen around them were cheering. 

"What is happening here?"

Klein was confused as he looked around. Thankfully, the Hunters around them explained the situation. 

"Aight, I bet on my homie."

When Mikael heard that there was gambling added, he decided to bet on Jose. He didn't think twice and dropped a high-class Item on the betting floor. 

"As always Mikael, you never disappoint me!"

"Chairman Renato!"

The old man greeted him and Mikael found that Marilyn was next to Chairman Renato. He immediately understood what was happening.

"Eh? So you two are in a relationship? So did you already fuck?"

Sasuga Mikael, he didn't think twice and asked the taboo question. Marilyn's expression turned red while Chairman started laughing. 

"Yeah, we had sex a lot! I love spanking her ass and it seems that she loves it too!"

Chairman didn't lie ad Marilyn smacked his shoulder with a blushing face but Chairman Renato casually shrugged it off. 

"Good, I'm expecting some good news. I want to be the godfather of your child."

Mikael nodded.

"Um, Kuya? I thought we are going to meet Miriam. Why did you bet on this arm wrestling?"

Klein was confused. He could sense that the people inside the room were talking. 

"It's fine, we both know that Miriam already noticed that we are here. I'm sure she won't talk about something important without us. So let's just enjoy this game and wait."

"Okay… I bet this 100-meter diameter expansion box to Jose!! Jose, don't disappoint me!!"

Even Klein joined the gambling. Of course he would choose someone he knew. 

As for Princess Belle, Kitsune, and Furrneka, they were just waiting for this game to end. The two girls(Kitsune and Furrneka) bet on Captain James though. 

Jose and Captain James released their full strength and the floor started cracking. After a few minutes of battle, the winner was announced. 

"Let's go!!! Woooh!! Yeah, baby!! This is what I've been waiting for! This is what it's all about oooooh!!"

"Ah! I can't believe you've done this(British accent)!!"

"Somebody touched my spaghetti!!'

The other side started cheering while the other was disappointed. The Beastmen gritted their teeth, Captain James lost at that last second and Jose took advantage. 

In the end, the Hunters won the bet that was equal to the Items they bet. After that, the Hunters and Beastmen started drinking merrily, even the Dwarves joined in and brought some fine wine. 

Jose and Captain James started laughing together while talking about something. As expected, men are the simplest species of all. 

As for the others, after Mikael and Klein received their loot, they went to the room where Miriam was talking to the King. 

Mikael and Princess Belle casually entered the room, knowing that their presence was needed. The two looked like a couple for a second because of their reactions. 

"Yow, Miriam, how you doing?"

Mikael greeted her and Miriam nodded her head. Then, Mikael turned to Andromeda who was holding her face trying not to blush. 

"Yow, Andromeda!"

"Y- yow!"

Andromeda stuttered her expression brightened. 

'Gosh, I don't know why I'm nervous.'

Furrneka saw her reaction and she felt that something suspicious was going on. She glanced at Mikael but he was oblivious.

Mikael looked at King Shenten and he was surprised that the young Draconian was holding Titania's hand. 

'Isn't that the woman that I slapped before?'

Indeed, Mikael remembered the time when he sent Titania flying across the place with one slap. 

'Not that it matters, my goal is to speak with Kyle. Now that the important people are here.'

Mikael sat on the ground. His expression turned serious and the air became cold. 

"Miriam, I want to talk to Kyle. I'm eager to demolish that Underworld or something."

He was not joking. 

"Kuya calm down, we have to think about this seriously."

Klein joined in but he wanted to talk to Kyle too. That regressor had more information than them. 

Seeing their expression, Miriam didn't have a choice but to agree. She sighed and showed her only Item that could communicate to Kyle. She didn't know where he is and this Item was the only way to contact him. 

She pulled a seashell and put her ear on it.
