Chapter 419

The day has come.

Thousands of people gathered in a secret location, they were the Hunters that Kyle trained to fight against the Demons.

Two of these Hunters were Seven and her little sister Adalyn. Despite having healthy bodies, the life in their eyes seemed to be gone. They experienced hell.

They know that Kyle almost killed Andromeda when he trained her. They understood how brutal the man was. However, their understanding was actually shallow.

What they experienced was more than hell, it was reincarnation, ten times, painful reincarnations of life and death. They didn't have rest or a peaceful sleep, they were thoroughly trained till they vomit blood.

"Damn it!! That's why I told you not to follow me, now, look what happened to you!"

Seven glared at his little sister.

Actually, Kyle personally kidnapped Seven because of his unique Skill, however, Adalyn decided to join because she was worried about her brother. That's why both of them endured the hellish training.

"How can I do that? You know that I will be worried if something happened to you! When Kyle almost took you, of course, I will be there to help you! Hmmph!"

Adalyn justified. Seven was the one who was needed but she followed too.

However, because of that, Adalyn's Skills were enhanced and she was confident that she could fight a Demon Count without a problem. Kyle indeed taught her how to be strong.

"I know that you want to protect me but that is my job as your brother! That's why, no matter how much you try, I will never let you join this mission! You will stay here and protect the place instead."

Seven seriously looked at her and Adalyn could not reply, she could see that Seven's eyes were ready to cast the Skill to make her stay.

She clicked her tongue. She wanted to fight too. But she understood where Seven was coming from.

"Fine, don't die. If you died, I'll kill you!"

She pouted and walked away, leaving Seven together with the thousands of Hunters.

Seven sighed, this was the right choice. The place that they were going to attack was not that simple. It was the Underworld, every second they stand on that planet, their minds would slowly get corrupted.

'Of course, I have the cure but I can only use it once I have been corrupted, which will be hard to use because once I became corrupted, there is a chance that I will throw or destroy the cure.'

Anyway, Seven was relieved to know that his sister would stay.

"I heard that some Hunters from the Philippines will join too. I wonder if Captain Klein and Guild Leader Rena will come."

As a Hunter under the Blue Swallow, Seven knew how powerful Klein and Rena were. They were above the others.

Just as the Hunters were preparing, the reinforcement from the different countries showed up. Kyle and the higher-ups planned to attack the Demon Lord of Wrath with ten thousand Hunters. So far they have eight thousand in front of them and more Hunters would show up.

"This location is hidden and it's protected by the High-Rank Hunters. Only the leaders know the coordinates of this place and they will be the ones to bring their Hunters using teleportation."

Kyle Rockwell grinned while looking at the Hunters who were preparing. They still have five hours before they opened the portal to the Underworld.

He looked at Chen Yu and Dwarven Remington who were making sure that the device was working.

"Are you sure that this will work?"

As expected, Miriam stood next to him, looking at the strong Hunters. She was there to keep their location safe, she was the head of security. But she won't go to the Underworld, her job was here.

Kyle shrugged.

"I don't have a choice, do I? Our situation is dangerous, if we don't stop the Rifts, our world will slowly die. The best way to stop this is by killing the Demon Lords, one by one. We can't kill all of them at once, we don't have the power."

Based on what he found, it seemed that the Demon Lord that the Rothschild contacted was the Demon Lord of Wrath. 

"If I'm right, this means that Satan holds most of the Rifts. If we killed him, the Rifts will diminish."

Miriam looked at him worriedly, she wanted to stop Kyle from leaving. 

'Maybe he doesn't have to lead this mission, it's dangerous. I think the Elven Princess is enough.'

She thought, but she could not say it in front of him. She knew that Kyle would be disappointed. 

Miriam was traumatized by what happened when Kyle died, she thought that she lost him forever. 

She bit her lip and nodded. She didn't want this but she didn't have a choice. 

"Chairman Renato and Secretary Jose will protect this place with me."

"Good. Make sure to thoroughly look at every Hunter, there is no way to discover a corrupted person, we just have to look at their behavior."

Kyle added. 

"I will."

Miriam found a chair and sat on it, she closed her eyes and inspected everyone.

"The end of the year has come."

While the Hunters were preparing, Mikael was looking down at the monsters that came out of the Yellow Portal. He was on top of the building, having a cold gaze at everything. 

The monsters ravaged the land but it didn't matter, because everything was already destroyed. 

"You know, I'm starting to get suspicious of you. How did you know that I'm here?"

Mikael turned around and found the woman smiling at him. 

Princess Belle appeared. She used a teleportation device to reach this place, just to meet him. 

"You can guess why I'm here."

She had a mysterious smile. 

" Are you walking a predetermined path or something?"

"Maybe."

Princess Belle approached him. 

"Mikael, what is your plan? Do you want to join the mission or you will stay here?"

"I have my own plan, and I think you don't have the right to know it."

"But I can help."

Mikael narrowed his eyes, probing the woman. Mikael confirmed that Princess Belle was alone.

"You know that I can kill you here."

"Yes."

Mikael touched his chin. In the end, he sat on the ground, since it won't be a problem to talk to her. 

"What do you mean that you can help me?"

"You know that I will join the mission with the Elves, right? It's simple, I can show you the way to meet Satan, the father of Elizabeth."

"Okay, I'm in."

Without hesitation, when Mikael heard the witch's name, he immediately agreed. After all, he indeed planned to kill Elizabeth's father.
