Chapter 456

"So are you really going to talk to the Protector?"

"Yeah."

Oliver Johnson nodded. He already finished the trial and it was time to return to Earth. 

'Let's hope that the world is still functioning. Or else we will lose a place to eat and sleep.'

He said to himself. 

Oliver Johnson was emitting this subtle aura but anyone who had strong senses could feel his pressure. Oliver Johnson was at his normal size, but they could feel the heaviness from his every move. 

A punch from him could kill a person into dust. His physical strength was incomparable. 

He had a sharp expression that could make ordinary people puke blood. 

"It's amazing that you will be the first one who will leave this place! Greet Kim Soo-Woon for me. I will show him that I can finish this trial!"

Jake Raynold slapped Oliver's shoulder, he grimaced when he realized that he broke his fingernail. 

"Damn, Oliver you should say that your body is tough!"

Oliver just shrugged. 

"It's just a fingernail, you don't have to act like a sissy."

Yuuki muttered. Just like always, she had a stern expression and she rarely showed any emotions. 

"Yuuki is right, Guild Leader. It's just a nail. Even my dog, Choco, is braver than you."

Lane nodded while watching. 

Right now, they were standing in front of the last door of the hallway. The door to the Protector's place. 

"What do you mean a nail? The fact that he can chip my nail showed how tough his body is!!"

Indeed, Jake Raynold had Indestructible Skill and his defense was top-notch, yet Oliver managed to break his fingernail. 

"Okay, guys. You don't have to fight. After I talked to the Protector, I will leave this place. Please take care of the others..."

His last sentence was a bit weaker. He looked at the back and saw the other Hunters. 

Most of the Hunters lost their will to climb up. The Hunters stopped fighting at all and decided to live inside the Dungeon. They realized that completing the trial was impossible. That's why they did not bother to send Oliver off. Because they deemed this place as their own. 

'We are here for almost seven years and most of us lost our willpower. So far, I'm the only one who finished the trial.'

Unlike the first time when they were enthusiastic to enter the Rooms, the Hunters lost their will now.

'What they did is eat, shit, and sleep. Sometimes they are killing each and stealing.'

Oliver could not stop them when he was in the Room fighting. And even if he tried to stop them, it would happen again when he was gone. So in the end, he decided to stop and let them do what they wanted. 

"Don't think of the others, they already lost their will to fight." 

Yuuki said it without hesitation, the Hunters heard her voice but they just frowned. They did not have the courage to talk to her. 

Yuuki Kouri was the scariest of them because she would not hesitate to kill a person. That's why the Hunters just bow their heads. 

Oliver was a bit sad seeing their situation. He wanted to help but he could not. The Room was always for one person and it was impossible to help them. It's for single players only. 

'All I can do is give my coins to them.'

Unlike Mikael Tibano and Kim Soo-Woon, Oliver Johnson did not use his coins. Oliver did not buy any Items in the Shop. He gave them to the Hunters so that they have a chance to become stronger. Sadly, the Hunters started killing each just for the coins. 

He sighed. He was not a good leader because of his personality. Changing is a hard thing to do. 

"Goodbye, but we will see each later. Please tell Sister Miriam that I'm fine."

Lane smiled, reminiscing, she was hoping that Miriam was not worried. 

"I will tell her... Then, I guess I have to leave."

Oliver greeted them for the last time before he opened the void. 

Lane, Yuuki, and Jake watched before he disappeared. 

Out of all the Hunters, there were the only ones who did not stop fighting. 

As the Room number got higher, the dangerous it became, but the danger did not stop them. In fact they almost died in many instances but they persevered. 

Their time in this place was shorter than the other Hunters but in the end, they surpassed them. Perhaps the difference is always down to their will to take a step. 

Jake Raynold was the best example of that. Compared to the trio who had tremendous talent, Jake Raynold was mediocre. 

Yet he reached Room 82 now. 

'But the two women in front of me are already in the Room 90s. It will only take months before they can leave this place.'

He was not bittered. He was actually happy that he joined this Dungeon. He glanced at the two women, they acquired powerful Items from the Shop which further strengthen them. 

Of course, just like the two women, Jake Raynold bought something from the Shop too. It was a weapon, the Shop always had something that could him dumbfounded. 

'The Legendary Weapons are increasing, sadly, my coins are not enough to buy another Legendary Weapon.'

He stretched his arms. He was pumped up again now that Oliver finished the Dungeon, Jake wanted to finish his trail too.

"I will enter the Room, what about you guys?"

He asked the two women. 

Lane and Yuuki looked at each other before nodding. Just like him, they were motivated too.
