The second half of the lecture was only things like manners when eating, bowing which Reiki didn’t really listen to but for the sake of maintaining a good relation with the princess he acted like he was listening and pretended to write in Kaita after wasting an hour or so the moon and stars were the only thing lighting up the sky and Otome has apparently already set up the tent and started the fire judging by the two girls attitude the princess wears her emotion on her sleeve she’s honest, determined and bold which honestly surprised Reiki all noble’s in anime and in the past were all vulgar, prideful and arrogant to the point that it was disgusting and by Otome’s attitude is that she rarely talks, loyal well at least to the princess she is and by the looks of it selfless then again only to the princess.

All right, now I’ve got some information to work with well in most aspects this world is the same as a game with a leveling system, weapon rarity, and skills but the main problem is I'M STILL LEVEL FUCKING!! ONE!!! GOD! Would it hurt to have a monster or two show up?!... I still need to see how much exp I need to level up. I know there are two types of RPG leveling systems in games. Type A is where leveling up is fairly easy in the early stages, turn in a few quests to the Guild, grind a few mobs of monsters as you progress in the game, leveling becomes slightly harder. This is how the majority of the leveling system works. 

Type B in general only had an absurd leveling system which required constant grinding for levels and only having a handful of quests and even if you find a quest due to its high-level requirements only high-level players can accept them which resulted in every stat point you get per level was basically a godsend. So what’s the difference? Some people may think there’s little difference but I know there’s a big difference in Type A. You can still PvP someone with a 5-15 level gap depending on your class and equipment. 

Type B Pvping someone of a higher level even if it’s only 1 level above you might as well kick yourself in the face. In Type B the Leveling system was harsh. That's an indisputable fact but after grinding for one measly level, if someone were to kill at the same level all you have to do was grind and level up before he did and kill them a hundredfold and I’m talking from experience here. Reiki was in deep thought sure he might have learned a bit of how the world works now but he still lacks on how and what magic is by how that God was able to reverse and freeze time there has to be a way to be able to use magic on that scale freely.

Otome had already prepared two tent’s and started a fire and went around to see if she could use some wild herbs and spices to use for dinner the princess on the other hand was leisurely sitting on a chair that Otome pulled out from her Magic pouch one of the tents was extravagantly big it had a magic light inside of it just floating inside the tent and you can see two medium size beds it clearly indicates that the two girls will be sleeping in it and the other tent was a simple one it only had a blanket and a pillow hell you can’t even stand inside of it the only use of the tent was to make sure no bugs would crawl on you while you sleep 

Reiki sighed and thought well at least they actually gave me a tent to use. and finally took this moment to check those 12 skills he received from the Gods. He walked in a patch of grass that was clean and dry and laid down with his hands behind his head and thought of one thing. Skill List. Subconsciously Reiki's face was serious but he didn’t notice but the other two did

Reiki was in complete shock and awe. This skill was completely unbelievable. The skills that he got from those God’s were completely broken from copying skill to a customizable curse. This is completely absurd. But Reiki wasn’t happy no he was anything but happy because he knew if he would use a single skill or spell from this the entire world would turn upside down. They would easily send down their elites to kill him and ensure that they bring his head for proof just to ensure that they have one less potential threat and to prove their so-called ‘power’ is still absolute. Even in their old age just withering away in time and would do anything to stop change for fear they would lose their position along with their status and power.

FUCK! SHIT! SHIT! Although Reiki was calm on the outside but in his mind was in a complete mess this so-called ‘blessings’ he got from those Gods were just another thing for him to put under wraps. FUCK! THOSE SO CALLED “GODS” Dammit! I don’t even know if I should be grateful or cursing at them, sure they might be powerful but I can’t even use most of them with the least amount of mana being 60,000 and the most is 300,000. This so-called blessing might as well take a hike! His thoughts were in a complete mess.

Reiki's mind was in complete uproar sure this spells might be OverPowered but there is still one indisputable fact he was still at the bottom of the food chain sure his stats might be able to crush those levels ranging from 20-30 and 35. If Reiki was to use a wooden kendo sword but the world was never fair to anyone and never will be, if a handful of high level players were to see Reiki’s skill there would be two reactions to it. One would be they would take action to kill him and even if he managed to escape he would live a life on the run two would be they would try everything in their power to make him join them if he refused then they would resort to any underhanded means.

As Otome successfully scavenged some herbs and spices to use for dinner she returned to the camp and took a quick glance at Reiki and saw that he still had his serious look on his face at the same spot when she left as she walked back into camp next to Yuiitsu.

“Princess Yuiitsu, what do you think Akihito Reiki is pondering about?” Otome asked the princess as she poured her another cup of tea. The princess was sitting in an old and elegant chair with mesmerizing patterns that anyone can easily see. The craftsmanship is high quality and the small round table also has the same patterns and both have the insignia of the same logo.

As the princess takes another sip of a freshly brewed tea Otome from her Magic pouch she then takes out a Rice cooker, Cooking utensils and some ingredients indicating that she’s making dinner for her master after pondering for a moment the princess replied saying “I honestly don’t know Otome-san but knowing that it’s Reiki it’s obviously no small matter.”

As the princess replied to Otome she just kept silent and continued on with cooking.

The skills are good, too good in-fact… But the problem lies with me. I'm way too weak even with my stats right now I need exp and lots of it… After this mission with the princess I should get a noble title and that should help me. I’ll be needing three things first, money. I need to be filthy rich to be able to provide my family with a life free from worry. Secondly I need my own web, a group of people that can get all information within the day. Whether it be rumors or facts from a scandal to someone fucking in a dark alley. Lastly, I’ll be needing a guard unit even if their small group as long as they have at least half of my abilities that would put my mind at ease… But something is bothering me. Why did one of those God’s give me the chantless passive again? This is weird even for me.

Wait what? Is the first thing that came to his mind, Reiki thought. In games having two of the same skill would be impossible or a bug that’s why game developers would always ALWAYS make sure that having two of the same skill would be impossible. Even if you put two of the same skill in the skill slot the moment you use one both of them would be on cooldown so not only is it a waste of a slot it was also a waste of money. 

Some games would require money to learn skills either copper, silver and after reaching a certain level gold… It might not be so bad if you think about it. Let's do it this way, 1 gold coin would be equal to 10,000 silver coins and a silver coin would equal 100,000 copper coins. In most games if you ‘accidentally’ learned the same skill the only thing you could do was pretty much cry tears of blood wasting money on duplicates. Just like grinding for hours just for it to go away on the wrong skill although this would never happen to anyone at least to my knowledge only a complete idiot would risk it.

Awesome! Was the first thing on Reiki’s mind not only that he also got a new way to cut corners because he knew in games mages were weak at the start of the game but in the later stages they were something to be feared but the drawback is their long chants just to use a single spell but what would happen if a mage were able to use a spell without any sort of chanting.

Then a notification popped up in front of Reiki.

HOLY SHIT! This is completely broken wouldn’t this mean that as long as I engraved and enchanted a weapon even if it’s only a common tier it could easily rival an Epic? Not only that it has five things on the list, all of the blessings I got had only three. This skill has five although the fourth one is a warning it still has five… 

But something still weird here is the skill Spell Engraving. Why can I enchant them??? Well on a technicality standpoint engraving also has the same laws of enchanting but engraving is harder due to needing to make a complex spell ready to be used in a weapon. With just the requirement of inputting mana into a weapon but still… Isn't this skill too broken? 

Is what he was thinking unlike other MC that would happy to get on OP spell Reiki was the opposite to him it’s just another thing that needed to be hidden below the carpet or else sure he got 12 OP skills and spells but he can’t even use most of them due to the mana cost being too damn high! With that looking at his skill was crossed off his to-do list.

After he finally finished seeing the skill he got from God’s he finally stood up and started walking towards the Princess and her Maid setting up the table as Reiki was a few steps away Otome said. “What do you think you’re doing?”

Reiki was caught off guard and said. “I was gonna take a sit… or am I unwanted?” He knew that his credibility dropped but he didn’t expect it to drop so much from just naming his Academy.

“Yes you are unwanted, there is no food for you here. I prepared this both for Yuiitsu-sama and myself, oh and feel free to keep those books and fake guild cards. Consider it payment for the entire journey if you want to eat, go and hunt for yourself and don’t expect anything else from us.” As she blatantly said to Reiki with each word she said her cruelty and anger were increasing.

Reiki took a deep breath and gave a long sigh and said. “I understand then Princess Yuiitsu, Otome-san if you please excuse me I’ll try and find my own dinner.” Well with that I can forget about the reward they promised me at the start at least I still got those fake guild cards and there was still a bounty on them that’s a silver lining well no point on crying on something that can’t be undone might as well try to hunt myself some dinner. As Reiki finished his thinking he turned around and walked towards the opposite direction to hunt for some monsters.

As Reiki walked deeper into the forest he thought Oh yeah I might as well try one of the skills let’s see Chikaku let’s see what happens when I try to focus my senses into my hearing.

Closing his and and focusing after a minute of trying to focus solely on his hearing soon the world around Reiki was completely black then faint outlines of trees bushes and sound waves was soon enveloped in his mind he felt two waves of sound behind him with the monsters at night time. Almost as strong during the day time the only people here were Reiki, Yuiitsu, and Otome  were clearly discussing something behind his back but he didn’t care.

The moment that this mission is done he’ll never see these two again so he didn’t really get bothered that the two were discussing something but soon he felt a faint sound wave somewhere north-east. It was quick but Reiki felt it judging by how faint the sound indicated that the target was small but not as small as a rabbit but not big enough to match the size of a boar so it was somewhere in between.

After a few more minutes a few more sound waves and Reiki was able to have a rough estimate of where the monster is so he sneaked around while having his eyes closed all the while avoiding twigs and branches that could give the monster an indication. Of his presence, he carefully sneaked towards the sound waves the more frequent it became and soon it was in a rhythm. It was on all four legs after that he opened his eyes and saw a boar the size of this wild boar probably ranges between 200cm - 300cm maybe even more. 

And the weird thing is the wild boar was completely black with thick muscles,  if this boar decided to charge at full speed with it razor sharp tusk the boar could easily break bones and pierce the armor of a fully equipped warrior and if an unlucky mage were to hit by it he’d be lucky to survive

It's hooves were huge, it looked like reinforced steel and with Reiki’s knowledge a normal boar would be covered in fur although he didn’t notice it in the beginning but with the moonlight providing a bit of light combined with his new vision this boar was completely hairless and was all muscle. 

Which would mean one thing with a bit of game knowledge this was either mutated or a variant and any gamer that finds a rare monster that’s easily stronger and tougher to kill than regular ones would mean EXP!! And lots of it only an idiot would fight something like this head-on but first like any gamer would do information about the boar so first things on the list were, he casted. God’s Eye.

Huh?...HUH!?! What’s with this boar this game has to be broken it’s fucking broken not only that this is supposed to be a baby a BABY this wild boar alone makes my stats look like shit a FULLY grown boar is about 90cm - 100cm yet this boar here is somewhere between 200cm - 300cm and is supposed to ba a child? On the other hand if this boar were to grow up it would spell disaster but on the other hand, I’m not willing to stay here and wait for its mother and father to come here to save their child.

If this is just a child even I don’t wanna know how strong its parents are. Reiki was in a dilemma as he kept thinking Should I risk it? But if I do if its parents are nearby it’s not gonna be pretty but if I do successfully kill the boar I can get rare materials and a crap ton of exp which I really REALLY need right now. After a moment of deep thinking with a savage smile on his face, Reiki thought of one thing. Let’s Just Kill it! He finally decided to press the button Fuck it! Whatever happens. Happens!.

But Reiki won’t just blindly charge no he wasn’t a noob who would just charge in without a plan right now that baby boar’s stats alone could easily be a field boss in some games. It was a very known fact to gamers that mutated or variant even if 8 players of the same level were to try to kill it they would only at best have a 17% chance of killing the monster. With his game knowledge starts to shine in deep thought. A massive 29 level difference, there’s also the possibility that there’s a level difference system the higher the level difference the less the damage you do and the more you miss even if it’s a direct hit another thing is aggro… 

I’m the only one here so all aggro is on me it would be fine if I knew this thing was a just another high-level monster but the thing is a mutated one so there’s a hig-... no it would have a few special abilities plus there’s also it’s parents to take into account if there far enough i should be able to kill it and eat it for dinner well that’s assuming it’s safe to eat on the other hand if it’s parents are too near it’s gonna bring a world of trouble *sigh*

I’m not even taking the stat difference into account and my odds of winning might as well be zero percent but that’s just too easy right now this is my first wall in this game not every fight that I’m gonna face gonna be on the same level so this would be a great help to me in the long term right now it would easy to just turn around and leave. But that won’t do no this could help me even if i don’t kill it I can just flee by the looks of it there’s only two skills that I can use against the boar the Sharpened Earth Rocks. 

I can create up to 10 of them and the good thing about this skill i didn’t see a timer to how long it could last meaning as long as it wasn’t broken and within range the skill should be still in effect and then I could just wait for my mana to regen and the second spell is flash this boar has more than double my agility the moment it starts to sprint at full speed could easily kill me so my highest chance of succeeding of killing this boar is using both kiting if i want to even think about killing this thing “haha” At that moment Reiki instantly covered his mouth and looked at the boar again he considers himself lucky that the boar didn’t hear him and the breathed a sigh of relief he knew why he just suddenly laugh and he didn’t just laugh for no apparent reason.

He thought. I think I know the reason for it in mangas and novels the MC could easily beat or kill foes hundreds or even thousands of times stronger than them even in an anime I once watched there was a high school kid who beat a God in a game on the FIRST episode yet here I am racking my brain to its limits just to kill a boar and it’s not even an adult it’s their child im trying to kill… Hmm, I wonder if there’s any haired half rabbit half human that has blue hair and can change it into pink in this world? Well, no time like the present.

After about a minute passed thanks to Reiki stats in intelligence his MP regen is off the charts at 50 mp per second.

With the preparations completed it was finally the time to face the baby boar with a deep breath Reiki calmed himself and decided to attack this is his turning point to change his life for the better this is where it all began this is where the was born legend the one who was able to defy logic of one needing to be the same level or higher to kill the strong the one everyone thought that it was due to the fact he was gifted with so many spells and skills but they never knew no one would ever know that in reality, he was the one who always worked himself to the bone and rarely got what he wanted in life he was just like them so similar but yet so different.

As Reiki was thinking about jumping in front of the boar but something told him that the boar would be able to kill him at first it was just a small feeling but when he was about to jump in front of the boar his instincts screamed warning him to stop and he would definitely die. He thought. Wait! *pant* *pant* something wrong I’ve got a feeling that I would die NO! It wasn’t just a feeling it felt like my instincts told me to stop that feeling. I felt like I was a cornered animal with nowhere to go… a sword I need some kind of sword. I'll make it with Earth magic and hope it works. As he panted for a few seconds he calmed himself with deep breaths. He started to collect some rocks around the forest. Every rock was different in size.

This was the correct choice Reiki made with his 550 mana he won’t be able to create a complete sword with his current mana but with some rocks lying around and him molding it he would be able to do so.

The first step was to combine all the rock into a single one after using more than half his mana Reiki was more or less able to create a shape of the sword but it was still blunt the Earth shaped sword was a wakizashi although he was more familiar with a wooden kendo sword but due to the boar easily being twice as fast as him he decided the more he slashes and stabs the faster the boar Hp can drop it size was about 30.3cm or one shaku it’s handle was a bit crude but the shape was correct

Now let’s sharpen it. Now this process was the tricky part of he made the sword too dull it was a might as well be a blunt weapon but if he made it too sharp it the earth blade would be too thin and would break upon the first attack so this process was slow so he was able to succeed even with his small mana pool

Reiki didn’t want to take a look at the skill hell even if he did take a look at the skill it would probably cost too much for him at his current level so he was satisfied for this on his first attempt It’s pretty good it’s sharp but also has some weight to it so it won’t just break on me so suddenly alright let’s get this show on the road.

As Reiki thought about jumping this time he didn’t get the feeling again and thought This should be a good thing right? 

Sneaking closer to the boar slowly but surely 50 meters then 40 meters 30 meters 20 meters until to the point that Reiki was just behind the boar No matter how big the level difference if I hit a vital spot hopefully it will trigger a bleeding effect. With one swift motion, Reiki aimed for the boars back hoping the force would be able to at least pierce the muscles of it with all his might he aimed somewhere between the boar's rib cage hoping he won’t hit a bone

~SQUEEAL~ Before Reiki can even get a chance to see it the boar squealed at the top of its lungs which caused him to cover his ears with his hands but he couldn’t close his eyes with the boars speed one full dash would get him killed the boar suddenly turned around and spotted Reiki and Dashed at top speed in an instant the moment the boar turned the feeling of dread and death hunted him again and used Flash

The cost for the spell was still high but all Reiki needed was to be behind the boar so the cost was worth it but he wasn’t out of the woods yet he didn’t know if the boars parents was near so he needed to end this quick as the boar crashed into a rock the rock caved in with a web of cracks spreading due to the combination of speed and force the boar started to wobble a bit Reiki wasn’t stupid he was a hardcore gamer and took this moment to attack with the 10 sharpened rock under his control he had one thing in mind attack.

Some of the Earth Rocks were an obvious dead on hit but due to the level gap only some of them were to deal damage with that the Boar turned slowly turned around and at that moment the Earth Rocks were beside already at Reiki’s side but the sword was still stuck on the Boars back before Reiki was able to attack again the feeling of dread came over him again but this time was different this time he didn’t know why he just instantly sidestepped to the side but the feeling never went away if anything it became stronger. 

The Boar then scratched the ground using his right hove and then bolted towards Reiki in a split second the boar was a few feet away from him but there was a big problem he didn’t have any mana left for another flash not only that he was already stuck at his motion at sidestepping so he was unable to stop all the while the feeling of dread grew stronger with what little mana Reiki had left he tried to reinforce his left leg and arm and tried to reduce the damage as much as possible but it was already too late for regrets with the boar already in front of him he could only grit his teeth and bear it

So that’s one skill it has was the thing in Reiki’s mind he wasn’t angry because the moment he became careless was already spelled his death, on the contrary, he was happy the more the boar moved the more it bled at most the boar Hp should be at the 7,000 mark now while it still was high he did a total of almost 4,000 damage with a huge level gap it was already something that defies logic in this world he took a quick look at his left arm it was covered with bruises and cracks that had blood coming out of it although his skin was intact it still wasn’t a pretty sight.

That sword! With that in mind, he came up with a plan an all or nothing gamble as he would have enough momentum he would be able to give the boar a nasty wound for it to bleed out and would result in the boar slowing down and a battle of attrition the first one to pass out from his wounds but that was the ideal outcome reality was not as kind to give him the opportunity but that doesn’t mean he won’t make that opportunity himself.

One chance Reiki only had one chance the boar might be dumb but not dumb enough to fall for the same trick twice trying to forget the pain his experiencing he needed some time to wait for his mana to regen but one thing that put fear in his mind was that damn dash skill that the boar used unlike monsters some has skills but they're not the same for humans that have a set cooldown some monsters only needed to reach a certain point for them to use it to make things worse some can even spam it although those who can spam it were only boss dungeons there were some rare cases were a mutated or a variant would appear and be able to do the same thing.

Soon his fears were confirmed the boar made the same pattern to make the dash it used its right hove to scratch the ground it may be small but that small detail is what it all took for Reiki to see the timing to dodge the atmosphere then turned silent seconds felt like years although he knew the pattern but dodging the dash was one is a completely different thing because the boar can change the direction although a slight hit from the boar would result in a small damage Reiki wouldn't dare to try and find out there was more than one danger if the boar were to dashed at full speed if it stumbled and crashed would be a good thing but it was highly unlikely even if it did happen he would die from the moment the boar touched him.

HUH?! Reiki felt that minutes or possibly an hour passed from their exchange but in reality, only a few seconds passed from the moment they started their fight without any warning the boar dashed at full speed again Reiki scoffed and thought fat chance not this time.

*Woosh* the dash was still quick but Reiki was able to dodge at the right moment more or less the boar was so close that he heard the sound of wind passing towards him and caused some of his hair to be cut off the boar from running too fast.

Reiki inwardly cursed every moved the boar made it felt like an eternity pasted but reality was harsh only two measly seconds passed the boar hit a large tree with so much force it caused the tree to fall and the boar was once again in a dazed state NOW!! With another opportunity to attack he would make use of it and try to do as much as damage as possible of course the thought of grabbing the sword and trying to kill it in a single moment went to his train of thought but he instantly felt a feeling of dread again and decided to wait with the level gap even if its an obvious slash from the inside there’s still a high chance it would miss and he would end up getting himself killed

OH COME ON THIS IS BULLSHIT!! Reiki was too used to him being the higher level in most games due to the fact he always played solo every time a high-level player would try to kill him he would gather information on the player and only then he would make sure to surpass the players level by a large margin he would get revenge but him attacking a flurry of attacks yet none of them hitting wounded his pride a bit

Another two seconds passed but this time the boar’s dazed state was quick to recover then without warning the boar’s eyes were now completely bloodshot then in that split second the feeling he was feeling was he was far too familiar with without warning or doing any pattern the boar dashed instantly.

“What?!” This time Reiki didn’t think but actually said it the boar was faster than the last time which caused Reiki to be agitated he controlled all 10 of the earth rocks towards the frenzied boar to his surprise all of the earth rocks all bounced off of the boar and now were outside his range but it was able to cause the boar to lose some of its momentum at the very last second.

Reiki used his weight to dodge again thanks to his daily training he was able to use some of the stats he had this was some of the things he experimented in he had over 250 stats in everything but can’t use it completely using more than 25 would cause backlash and would result in some health as a price but anything below 25 he was able to use freely the main reason was because he was so careful.

Not the fact not because he was too powerful but the opposite he needed to learn how to control his power using too much too soon would end up him being killed as he used his weight and momentum to dodge the boar suddenly turned but it didn’t slow down at all lost any of its speed, in fact, it actually gained more speed from its action at this point the boar was just arms length away from Reiki.
