As Otome walked away from Reiki and walked towards to report to Yuiitsu Reiki, on the other hand, walked towards the shabby tent then dismantled the tent since it was almost made out of a few thick pieces of bed sheets with a pillow and a single blanket dismantling the shabby tent should be done  finished within a few minutes.

When Reiki turned around to dismantle the shabby tent Otome forgot to say what the princess ordered and just gave him the tent but luckily for her he was able to hear their conversation despite being a few dozen feet away from both of them due to one of the blessings he was given by a God.

Otome walked towards a different direction from the camp and walked a few feet into the forest until she was sure that Reiki wouldn’t be able to see her from then she cast a skill.

“Shadow Waltz.” Were the only words that she said and walked towards a shadow from a tree and disappeared out of Reiki perception.

After casting the skill Otome walked from a shadow from the corner of a tent and was now inside the extravagant tent and was now behind Yuiitsu who was just sitting in on a chair in front of a study table reading a book that she bought on the way to their destination Otome didn’t say anything and waited for Yuiitsu to put a plain looking bookmark in the book and closed and said. “What is it, Otome-san?” She said in a very casual yet with a hint of laziness in it.

Otome opened her mouth a few times but wasn’t able to say anything until she took a deep breath and calmed herself and replied. “Yuiitsu-sama its about Akihito Reiki… He is now able to perfectly suppress his mana flow to the point that I would have just ignored him if not for the fact I saw him casting a few earth spells a few days prior.” 

Is what Otome said but her face had a completely different expression she knew in her deepest parts of her heart that she absolutely refused that Reiki was a harmless little boy that he claimed to be and that he only gave his given was real and that his family name that he was currently using was someone that he met along the waves of time and tried to pin the blame on them to avoid punishment.

Before Yuiitsu eyes were barely open but upon hearing Otome’s report on the kid her eyes now were as wide as they can as she tried to say something to Otome but failed to do so but after a few moments she was able to say. “Are you confident about this Otome-san?”

If a person were to read the history of magic there has never been a kid at the age of 10 that would be able to hide his or her mana flow being able to conceal at least 1% of it within a few years would already be considered very good progress and that was using a mage with an age ranging from there 20’s to 30’s and to make matters more confusing Reiki was one of those mages that just oozes their flow of mana whether they like it or not but its not necessarily a good thing because it can indicate that your a mage and all mages whether their mages for a few short years of a few thousand years would still be richer than the average noble family and would result in some of the more dim-witted ones to bark up the wrong tree. 

“Yes, Yuiitsu-sama I’m positive just a few minutes ago Akihito Reiki mana flow has completely vanished without even the smallest fluctuation around him.” She replied instantly without even hesitating.

The inside of the tent was completely silent Yuiitsu and has started to absorb this new information she has absolutely no reason to doubt Otome’s words and her judgment was more accurate than the more experienced mages and her perception wasn’t something to laugh off either so the only thing that she was able to conclude that Reiki was either intentionally letting his mana flow lose or has picked up some sort of high-grade artifact that had the ability to manipulate the wearers mana flow to the users discretion but since the second option was far too far fetch for Yuiitsu and was completely unlikely to boot she was only forced to accept the first option.

While outside Reiki was only practicing some more ‘normal’ magic by game standards like fireball, wind slash, water manipulation, and so on after that little rebound incident from failing to meet the condition for successfully creating the spell he first decided to understand magic more first than to have something explode at his face point blank.

Hmm… At least their tent isn’t just for show I'm guessing from my little rebound from the forest a few dozen yards that this tent obviously has enchantments on it like protection on an anti-sound the block noise from the outside otherwise how would they still be asleep after that wind vortex that was capable of breaking the sound barrier sure sound isn’t capable of entering but how come sound is capable to escape from inside the tent. 

Is what Reiki thought, he wasn’t really all that surprised to know about such enchantment with a world full of magic he would be more surprised if there were actually some type of magic that has yet to be invented because he knew that Kronos said it would affect this world by all too much its history, geography, and those are just some of the things on the list that was completely re-written.

Ohh yeah they should have a few extra maps here and their somewhere in their supplies they wouldn't mind a few things maps and uhh things missing from their supplies here and there. As he thought of this Reiki’s smile slowly became wicked and he made his way towards the carriage and tried to find some things that would be able to at least help him in this world he never really thought about it but he didn’t raise any questions to his surroundings and when is there a forest in Japan as large as this one and where exactly are these two girls headed he knew they were going to meet a very important figure well since Yuiitsu is a princess but where is her father or the king is stationed.

A few minutes passed and Reiki was able to actually able to get a good look on the carriage at first he thought it was too extravagant and was a complete waste of money and thought it was just made out of plain metal and wood but now he was taking his time observing he was able to learn that after testing the gold colored metal on the carriage it was actually mixed with a different metal but not just one with multiple different types of metal. Since he couldn't really tell what mixture this metal was really made of and as he looked at it looked and the color was similar to a mixture of oak and birch.

It had a rich dark color but it wasn’t too dark and a few more minutes of looking at the wood he was able to see a faint fluctuation of mana flow from the wood as he looked at the design of the carriage it was still completely extravagant and could blind someone if it was noon without a single cloud in the sky and if anyone was unlucky enough to see the reflection from the carriage. Extravagant but complex… pretty good trick even by my standards. And it was completely true any fool that didn’t have a good enough sense of magic or was blinded by greed would be tempted to try and steal the carriage and ask for ransom for the owners.

If they were willing to spend money on a single carriage they would be easily rich but that was only too weed out the unworthy and the greedy if any other high-level people were too see the carriage they wouldn’t be even seen next to it just to avoid making trouble for them but one thing dawned on Reiki as he noticed something at the front of the carriage there was supposed to be horses this carriage has no reins for it only had a gear shift, steering wheel, and some type of an arm wrap that could cover the entire forearm that has a wire sticking out that’s leading somewhere inside the carriage. 

I’m guessing this arm wrap is obviously connected to the driver and the driver supplies the mana for the carriage to move or something along the lines. Was his conclusion. Now Let’s ‘borrow’ some stuff. As he continued his train of thought.

And to his surprise the carriage was actually unlocked and the seats of the carriage also had some drawers compartments in them after looking through some of them Reiki was able to steal a copy of the map and decided to look at it later and tried to rummage through a few more drawers and see if he could test his luck and hope he would be able to find a few hidden compartments but to no avail there were no secret compartments other than the drawers and as for the back of the carriage was the only thing that was locked so he wasn’t able to get to see what was inside of the back of the storage compartment of the carriage.

Alright so I was able to steal a map and a few dozen fairly good quality throwing knives. I'll take a look at the quality later and finally a survival knife. Which is the second most useful thing here now. Let's take a look at this map and hope the geography of Japan and the rest of the countries are still the same. The moment Reiki got a good look at the map at first he refused to believe it and the reason for it because if someone were to Tokyo to Chiba as an example they would have to go through at least a twelve to twenty-day journey through a forest and if someone were to go through Shinjuku to Chiyoda City it would take three days.

Not only that but what once was a city that was so close together was now separated by a few miles of forest that’s obviously infested with monsters there were no more trains and there are still asphalt roads but the road they were on was made out of just plain dirt which means that there initial six days were just only an estimate and might even take longer but that wasn’t even the worst part this may be a small section of a map of Japan but guessing from this alone Japan should have at least doubled in size.

“Well guess the geography of Japan is now completely different now.” Is what Reiki muttered as he folded the map in one of his pockets as he hid the map in a pocket he was now able to take a good look at what he was currently wearing it was completely covered in dust and there were countless ripples in pretty much every nook and cranny in his clothing and as a final touch his shoes were once simple and pretty much conventional were now dried with mud and dirt that would take a while to get off.

Reiki shook his head and decided to just bear with it, if it was his fault for not carrying anything with him. He didn't even bring a backpack let alone extra clothes so he could only bear with it and just continue with it and hoped those two girls are not as cold-hearted as they are.

Walking back to the camp Reiki saw that the makeshift kitchen was now gone and the tent was almost completely dismantled. Of course the one who was cleaning and dismantling was Otome. Yuiitsu was just sitting in a chair that came out of one of those magic enchanted pouches and was just leisurely sipping tea while reading a book. 

While dismantling the tent Otome looked at where Reiki was standing as Yuiitsu saw Otome staring she looked and found Reiki mana flow has completely disappeared and was now not any different from any other kids his age if not for the fact that they knew that he was a mage and saw him casting magic and killing a few bandits they would never give him the time of day let alone having them accompany them in this situation.

Yuiitsu only looked at Reiki without saying anything with nothing but pity and contempt in her eyes and she was more than willing to let him see what her eyes were saying and it was saying one thing what she was looking at was garbage nothing more and nothing less. She thinks Reiki would never amount to anything but he does have some value of being able to cast four different elemental affinities.

 Reiki knew what this girls were thinking he just didn’t bother explaining because he wanted to see the looks on their faces when he becomes so powerful even the king would have to treat him nothing but respect and courtesy even if Reiki spat at his face in front of his own wife and kids after a few seconds of silence Yuiitsu finally said. “Otome-san I’m pretty sure we have a few self-mending clothes that should be able to fit Reiki more or less.” as she said her voice filled with unwillingness and discontent but her tone still carried a more haughty air than before.

“I’m sorry Yuiitsu-sama but this is something that I cannot agree with, even if it is you. This type of clothes are not expensive to us but to Akihito Reiki here he would never even afford a single one.” As Otome said her voice filled with disdain and hatred not even bothering to hide any of it it can be said as long as it concerns anything with Reiki she would do everything to inconvenience him to any extent.

“I know but I’m not asking you, I'm ordering you and we both know I never repeat anything twice.” Is what Yuiitsu said trying to display the difference in their statuses and how low he is when compared to her.

“Alright, then Yuiitsu-sama.” Otome said through gritted teeth if she would have added any more pressure her teeth would have started to bleed from her gums as she placed her hand inside one of her magic enchanted pouches and reached in to grab some clothes for Reiki to wear she pull out a pair of simple blue jogging pants, a white long sleeved t-shirt and passed it to him.

Reiki was able to catch the new clothes with ease and said. “Thank you very much Yuiitsu-sama for your generosity and politeness towards a commoner such as myself.” As he did a light bow after that Reiki wanted to change as soon as possible and clean his shoes with some water or something to make it look presentable once again. As he walked towards the forest and find a spot to change into his new clothes he was able to hear the two girls' conversation again.

“Yuiitsu-sama are we really going to put up with this Akihito Reiki for longer? His just wasted resource and effort he would never be able to amount to anything.” Otome brutally said without holding anything back and was one of the times that she spoke what was actually what was on her mind for all she knew Reiki wouldn’t be able to hear them hell she even hoped some monster would kill him while he was changing into his new set of clothes.

“I know Otome-san I know just put up with it until we arrive at our destination we should be able to get their earlier than we expected right thanks to no monster appearing on the roads which are quite rare I might add and how long do you think we might be able to reach our destination at our current pace?” Yuiitsu replied not hiding a single ounce of loathing and disgust with Reiki other than the value of his affinities he would be just another piece of trash waiting for the day he’ll die.

“Yuiitsu-sama, we should be able to reach Akihabara within the next sundown at the earliest.” Otome replied but this time with back to her dominating frozen aura and expressionless face cause the entire room filled with people to fear her.

“Hmm… sunset at the fastest might as well try and make it if I have to sleep at that shabby tent I fell like some sort of commoner this tent is far too small everytime I enter that tent I fell like I'm suffocating thanks to my brother who forced me to bring and not the better one because he ‘reserved’ it for some occasion.” Yuiitsu said as she was just speaking to herself and complaining.

Otome didn’t reply and was finally able to finish dismantling the tent as she walked towards Yuiitsu and picked up the chair she was sitting on and placed it back inside her pouch as the two walked back towards the carriage and waited for Reiki to finish changing his clothes.

At exactly when the two girls finished their conversation Reiki was now wearing simple blue jogging pants and a long white sleeved t-shirt after that he was able to hear that their destination was actually Akihabara, of course, Reiki knows what Akihabara it specialized in venues in manga, anime and video games include Tokyo Anime Center.

He never actually went there why well in the previous world before magic Reiki never really went outside he mostly spent most of his time before going to high-school was pretty much playing video games and watching anime although he was pretty much a shut-in he was still knowledgeable about his own country as he finally felt as though he spent enough time thinking he left all his tattered clothes hanging by a tree beside him and started walking towards the carriage.

What Reiki saw was Otome was just standing beside the carriage waiting for Reiki but it was anything but to help him judging by their attitude they both planned something to further insult him and try to make him realize how ‘lucky’ he is to be even with them as Reiki walked towards Otome before he was able to speak, Otome said. “Starting now you won’t be staying inside the carriage wit Yuiitsu-sama and you will be staying at the back of the carriage Akihito Reiki.” 

She said without hurrying or trying to insult him because this was basically denying him a ride to their destination and subtly telling him ‘If you want to follow us your gonna have to walk.’ Before Reiki was able to say anything Otome went to the front of the carriage and sat and wrapped the arm wrap and was starting to pour mana to the carriage.

They really do think I’m an idiot huh, well looks like I’ll be relaxing at the top of the carriage for the next twelve hours… Oh and I this would be a perfect chance to read Kaita that all knowledge notebook let’s see. Is what Reiki thought but then suddenly a notebook was starting to form out of his hand it was halfway through and was able to easily take it out and he gripped the notebook tight as a precaution and climbed the carriage and laid down on his back completely flat if anything that's good it was this carriage didn’t have a window at the top of it so Yuiitsu couldn’t see him as Reiki continued his train on thought. Alright, let’s start with laws and basic principles of magic.
