Darkness again, who knows where

I was in that state again.

It's not like I'm asleep, but I don't seem to be awake either. It's like I just close my eyes and stop listening and feeling what's outside. I should use this time to think about what is happening. In this state the days can seem very short. The fact that I woke up in a Russian city within minutes of leaving Norway confirms this theory. Even by plane it would take hours. And that the season has changed is even worse, because it means that maybe even months have passed. Not to mention that I now have the body of a fox-white girl. Surely, my original body is buried somewhere by now, so I won't be able to use it again. Now that I think about it, what would have happened to my family? I imagine that the news of my death had to reach them because it was already a good time. I wonder how my mother would have taken it. Not before, how will Maria be? Will she be okay? I don't think the angels will break their promise to keep her healthy, but how would she have taken the news that her brother ran away to go to the army and died far from home. I also think she must have left the hospital by that time. I imagine that my mother had to go and pick her up and tell her the news.

But while I tried to see what was happening, a voice began to speak.

Since I had only one instate to not die again, I grabbed his hand with more force and threw him to the ground, just after I had jumped on him and was finally able to dodge the knife that almost cut me in half. Immediately, I stood up and with all the strength I had, I delivered a direct blow to Cedric's stomach.

"Touch me again and I will put a bullet in your head," I warned him in a threatening manner while holding my gun in my hand.

The DOLL tried to retrieve his knife, and I took advantage of that by firing my weapon. But as soon as she heard the first shot, she ran sideways with superhuman speed, so I couldn't hit her. Moments later and seeing that now she was not trying to retrieve the knife, but now she was heading towards me, so I prepared for now when I jump sideways and dodge her, but at the last second I see something strange in her hand, she was getting ready to throw something, so I preferred to run forward and avoid being an easy target. And luckily I did, because a second later she threw a second knife right where it would have been. Continuing her offensive, she followed up with a kick right at the gun I had in my hand and was trying to reload.

Now I'm screwed, I have to do something.

I had found a way to escape, now I just had to find the right time to use it.

There is still a smile on my face when I felt the sting on my neck again, reminding me that I still had it.
