My name is Aisha, currently, the name was given to me by my predecessor in the distant past.
I am composed of multiple descendants of the white dragon to ensure the future predecessor's success.
Though... shit went wrong so fast.
Technically when you hear the word dragon.
It pertains to a powerful being of madness and destruction.
Well... not the white ones.
We are more connected with the spirits than the other kind of my kin.
Making us weaker than any other races when dealing with the physical realm.
But when it comes to magic we are technically the strongest.
But that's not the problem here...
Currently, we are having a crisis.
The last of the white dragon and the Black dragon fell in love!
The dominant blood of the black dragon will no doubt overwhelm the white as we warn her of our race impending doom.
"I don't care about that!?
I love him!" Were her words when we tried to stop her.
Ah... love truly is blind.
We couldn't stop her.
Many of her children were born and none of them became white's.
As the familiar spirit that was supposed to keep watch of the next lineage.
I guess we are totally screwed, aren't we?
Many centuries pass by and the last of the white dragons fell.
A mad sorcerer took her beating heart for the sake of creating a powerful artifact to control the demon-king her husband the Black-dragon. Technically the crazy sorcerer used a powerful weapon to slay her, the bastard knew our weakness and exploited it.
It was our failure, we failed to keep her safe.
Guess our race is doomed to never interact with the real world because of this.
As we were about to give up, a call came to us.
The voice of a child...
...
...
...
"This one is a half-human!?" One of us complained.
"It's better than nothing." Another part of me said.
...
...
...
None of us could argue.
Spirits without a host to guide are nothing more than wandering spirits.
Until a person with magical powers capable of calling us comes.
Which is highly unlikely to happen.
We are left with no other choice but to seek out a blood-line that can connect with us.
And borrow their power to enter the physical realm, preserving our knowledge and power.
While giving them our blessing in return.
"This child is technically the luckiest of them all."
Or...
so we thought...
"Why are they treating her so badly!?
She is undoubtedly wingless...
But seriously it will definitely eventually grow!
Those idiots!" as the many spirits within her complained
Our cries echoed as the child was tormented for years.
We could not aid her, she was far too weak to borrow our power.
Her mind is also clouded with worries and fears,
which means even our voices would not reach.
It lasted for years when she reached the age of 6 there were no signs of her wings growing.
Simply because her wings from the very beginning required our assistance for it to bloom.
"Ahhh!?
At this rate!
We will never be able to guide her!"
We toiled while watching her.
Until the day the mad sorcerer came to attack them.
She was overwhelmed with despair as her sister perished in her eyes.
But within that despair.
Her love for her sister and mother remained.
There were wishes and prayers.
It was at that moment.
Her mind went crystal clear.
"Do you wish for power?" as one of us asked of her.
"Will this power...
Save her?"
"Will it turn back time?
Change her fate?
Turn this nightmare into a dream!"
Our voices were finally heard.
How long we waited.
How long she toiled.
It was finally our time to shine.
"It can do more than that." as we finally felt relief.
We gave her the wings she desired.
We gave her the power to save her loved ones.
But at the end of that journey.
She was sent away.
As we slept drained from the power we have given her.
Even she could not remain awake from the physical exhaustion she faced.
We slept longer than we expected.
But we are glad...
that child remains alive and healthy.
Right now...
that child is...

"Estel, please don't tell me.
You will continue to serve that girl.
We can escape this place you know?" The familiar said to her.
"That is not, how you repay someone for their kindness.
And besides, where would we go?
We have no home or a place to stay."
As Estel threw a piece of her own hand-made bread at the tiny dragon.
It was currently night-time and she was wearing rag's given to servants for sleep-wear.
The tiny dragon munches on a few bread snacks which she herself made.
Its expression was an extremely happy face that can't seem to have enough.
"You're just saying that because you're afraid of heights.
This place is perfect for taking our first flight."
Indeed... the location of the palace is in a high place.
But Estel didn't like high places and prefer to be on land.
"Ugh..." as she flinched at the thought of flying.
After a few moments, she asked another question.
"So tell me more what else, can you do? aside from becoming my wings."
As Estel swings a piece of bread around with her hand.
The small critter snatches it as it munched away then swallowed it.
"You can shape yourself into a fully fledge dragon with my help."
She gave a wry smile with a dejected expression
"Let's... not do that...
The guards will likely shoot us with bolts and arrows."
"Anything else you would like to add?" she asks.
It then silently closed its eyes.
"Your tear's can return a dead or dying person back to life.
Though if that person was already dead for a long time.
I highly doubt our power will work."
"I... see." her expression went stiff as she heard it.
In Estel's mind.
[Isn't this technically a cheat!?
A dangerously very, very bad cheat!
If people discover this, there's no doubt...
They will make me cry just to get more of those tears!]
But the tiny dragon then said.
"Well, your power to heal only works...
When you desired it most." as Estel threw the bread itself towards
the tiny dragon.
"Explain more..."
It then happily said.
"It only works when you feel desperate enough...
I guess..."
As it took a bite and spoke to Estel speaking to her while eating.
"What do you mean? by desperate enough."
She grabs its body shaking it, but its tail slapped her face as it retorts.
"You already know that!
On the day you've used it!"
As Estel recalled what happened in the demon-castle.
[I see...
So on that day...
she really was safe.]
"This... is so good, never though human food in this time would taste this great!"
"They were left-over chicken mixed with bread and spices." as she explained.
"Ah... I'm so full, such a shame I have so little stomach."
Estel, gave a sigh of relief as she noticed its stomach wasn't bottomless.
"So anything else you are willing to add?" She added.
"We can also dispel any kind of malicious magic."
"Oi... you just said any-kind."
"I'm serious.
We the whites are powerful against magical foes
Our very scales can dispel magic that isn't our own just by touching them.
Try shape-shifting a part of your hand into our scales when you have the time." It happily said.
[Another cheat...]
"It's not a cheat if it has a weakness."
She then asked once again with suspicious eyes.
"Are there more?"
"None... that's all I can tell you," it said while yawning.
As it lept into the basket filled with a cloth which she prepared as it curled itself in a position to sleep.
"Uwah... so quick," she said.
"Feel free to ask me more question in exchange for these things you call bread." the tiny dragon said.
Its slithery long white tail wagged in its excitement as it closed its eye's.
[Tear's that heals, Dispel magic, Shapeshift a part of my body into a dragon?
I feel like an overpowered character from a video game.
Agh!? why is this suddenly happening!?] as she wracked her head with worry.
She turns the knob of the lamp that was their only light source as the light dimmed and rested for the next day.

Sorry...but for me its a bit difficult to read since the only character with good sanity in this story is the dragon familiar...from what i see...she is now the plaything of a mother-daughter duo with sadistic tendencies...she would survive very good through pick pocketing and her familiars power, but she's staying...is she an M or why didn't she simply refuse the unreasonable requests,or simply said that its no good to pry in her past.she is so emotionable that she's guranteed not suited material for a queen,i doubt that she can even hold 3 people together let Alone a whole country...
I never understand.
How my readers misinterpreted my story so badly.
Then again, this Pov Is her familiar's Pov.
(Pov fail go!)
@taesijr123 well maybe having the princess blackmail her right from the start made people think less of her, funny how that works. Also the fact that MC just wanted out for the first while and then now suddenly changed her mind after said blackmail make people feel like she has stockholm syndrome. I don't like the MC feeling or being trapped. I want her to get her way, I'm rooting for her, but she hasn't gotten her way at all, she just keeps being forced into situations against her will.
is she an m for staying...no , between being destitute in the street without money a job or support even food and needing to steal to live she prefer being a maid with a roof food and amenitys and even some privacy and time in the evening... not stupid if you ask me
Thanks for the chapter
I feel like my story path is getting confusing.
Am i rushing things again that readers are probably getting lost? Again.
It's not rushed at all. You're doing fine, relax
Why ia she Half-human? Isn't she the child from the white and black dragon? Or did it mean her soul?
Her father is mixed with white and black dragon.
Her mother is a human.
I haven't really checked my old work.
@taesijr123 Thx :3
