Sorry for the Experimental Chapter.
I suppose the heat in my place was melting my brain.
I didn't like wasting potential of the other chapter for a clearer picture of the story.

As votes goes most people opinion seems to lean on the slower pace to unveil a bit more of the story as to not confuse everyone.
Here's the actual chapter.

Time: Afternoon.
Place: Academy Training Area.

// We are still Human! //

With our body aching, we had a chance to rest.
Though Lana was the first to recover while she served us a few cold drinks.
When we received it from her, Leanne and I chugged it as swiftly as we can as we both got headaches from drinking it too fast.

Lana was right there, with a smug look while we had sore bodies on ours.

"This is what you get for abandoning your routine." She proudly said to Leanne.

She clicked her tongue and simply said.
"Tch!,"

"One day, you'll regret teasing me so much."

As Leanne said this word she continued to smirk.
I then curiously asked.
""Lana, I knew you had training but to last against that many for that long.
Are you perhaps just like my sister?"

She blinked twice and thrice to my question as she tilted her head.
Leanne then said.
"She meant a half-blood who has her body strengthened by their race.
And the answer is No.
She is human despite her looks and there are people stronger than her back in the knight's area."

Lana swiftly clicked her tongue as she said.
"Tch!, to compare me to that old knight captain.
Are you saying that perverted old man,
Who just tried to bake you in an oven during the incident is better than me?"

Leanne simply replied with a smirk on her face.
"Of course not, you are still the best female knight in this kingdom."

But Lana was still displeased as she retorted.
"I'll surpass those men one day." with Leanne replying.

"At that moment, I fear your abs will get in the way of getting yourself a man."

Lana retort in embarrassment as she angrily said.
"My abs have nothing to do with that!?"

Indeed, as I gazed at her waist the muscles are quite visible.
But not in a state that it made her unsightly.
Estel then said to her.
"Lana, you shouldn't train too much.
Your only human, after all."

With a bright red face, she then shouted out.
"Oh shut it you two!"

As they soon left the room, to grab a few sweets to relax.
Enduring their aching body Lana and Estel stood as they were both arm carried by Lana and Seid.

// Ice magic applied to food is amazing. //

An hour before their class, they settled in a food stall just beside the practice ground.
A young girl at the age of 16-18 was working in the stall.
Her unique blue hair was attractive, but as one gaze at her eyes, one can swiftly tell that this girl is undoubtedly blind. But despite all that, she was able to properly work with people who come to her stand and serve them.

Seid, however, rejected their offer as he was fine.
Though the three simply gazed at him with a wry smile,
as Estel had already told them of his dislike to being visibly seen underneath his helmet.

Estel could only say...
"That's kind of amazing."

Lana replied to her as she said.
"That girl is quite skilled."
Leanne and Estel turned to her the moment she said those words as she explained.

"If you two hadn't noticed she is applying magic within the food.
Usually, such practice would cause cups to break due to the intense change caused by frost magic.
But she is flexibly controlling her own magic with incredible control."

Leanne and Estel could only gaze at her in awe.
Leanne then asked.
"I never pegged you to be a mage."

She then replied.
"Despite being a knight, I am still a frost mage.
Still, it's such a shame to see such rare magic,
She could have been quite a powerful mage as skillful as I am."

Estel then tilted her head.
"But she looks like she can see people."

Lana shook her head to her in reply.
"She can sense people, but she cannot technically see them.
It's similar to how I learned ways to disperse Illusionary magic.
We sense magical aura's and attack it with our own force of will."

Estel was surprised, but as she gazed at the young girl.
She felt a bit liable to help her, but it was practically impossible for her to heal her eyes in front of the public. Strange rumors might also flow the moment she does so...

As they soon reached their turn.
The three gazed at the young lass as they gave out their orders.
Estel was puzzled by the choices, they were typically named different from her original world.

"Lei for me," Leanne said.

"Beats for me," Lana said.

Using Lana's interest in sweet, she swiftly replied.
"Beats for me as well."

Leanne, however, complained as she pouted.
"You should also try Lei!"

Lana and Estel simply gazed at her with a wry smile.
Lana then said with her hand clenched.
"Sweet things are justice you know?"

As the young lass in front of them, silently worked from her side to serve their food.
Her eyes remained closed and then opened them when facing them.

Estel felt a pang of piercing guilt from her back, as she could easily mend her eyes.
If there weren't so many people watching them from behind.
As they soon went for their table.

Leanne and Lana were gazing at her with suspicious eyes.
Leanne then said.
"You shouldn't do anything else that could cause yourself the trouble."

Lana then added.
"Indeed, The order of light hasn't sniffed you out just yet.
But I believe they will come here soon if one of the people who saw us were a devotee of theirs.
It doesn't hurt to be cautious."

Estel looked down at her food showing a troubled expression.
After all, light magic can restore most injuries and curses.
A power of miracle which people sought after.

Leanne then whispered to Lana as they discussed something.
As Estel touched her food, she recovered a bit of her cheer while they continued their meal.

// Arcane mastery and Freedom. //

As the group arrived at the scene, they moved to the empty rooftops of the academy where her grandfather were waiting patiently. With a large and wide magic circle at the vast empty roof, he then said.

"Come inside."

As Seid barred the door behind them with his weapon.
He then followed the group as they entered the circle.

"I don't feel anything, this time."

He then told them.
"This is a magical practice field used by demon-kins.
It disables any kind of harmful magic upon activation."

Leanne felt something strange,
She then thought.
[If he didn't use the same magic for practice it could only mean.]
" So the barrier you used in our physical training is actually..."

"Yes... it's vulnerable to magic.
Which is why using it is impossible to practice magic with.
Though, how surprising.

That sharp observation in magic can spell doom to your enemies.
Tell me, what is your elemental attribute?" he asks her.

Leanne fidgets as she shyly looked away.
Lana simply replied.
"She skipped her attribute examination."

Estel then replied with a frown.
"But why?"

"She didn't like the idea of studying magic,
Her mother told me, she always hid the moment it was about to happen."
Leanne's face went beet red as she complained to Lana.

"Stop exposing me like this!" while covering her face in embarrassment.
The demon-kins including Estel could only give her a wry smile.

But her grandfather then shook her head as she told her.
"Come over here, I'll inspect it myself."

As she approached her grandfather, he then pulled her hand as she tapped the center of her palm.
Flowing colors emanated around her hand.
He blinked many times and did it again.

As he then exhaled deeply.

"Leanne...
I believe you should concentrate on arcane's instead."

She then reacts.
"Eh?"

"Because you have an attribute which is thunder..."

Lana and Estel then replied.
"Really?"

He nods to them with a troubled expression.
"Congratulation your highness," Lana said to her.

But her grandfather then said.
"Thunder is an attribute that is most difficult to control.
I have a basic scroll here that can help you learn it.

Though, you need to endure the backlash for a bit."

Leanne then said,
"Backlash?"

"Yes... it technically electrifies you, if you failed to conjure it properly."
Leanne swiftly felt cold sweat as she then took a step back and began to run.
Lana, however, was someone impossible for her to outrun.

"No!
LANA,
NO!
You know how much,
I HATE PAIN!"

Lana replied.
"And yet you endured the physical training."

She scoffs at her as she said.
"I only lasted like 9 minutes!"

"That's because you foolishly grabbed a warpike,
which is way too heavy for you to carry or even swing!"

"Thunder affinity is a rare element which only comes in a blue moon.
An Elder dragon is offering you to learn it!?
I'll make you learn it!
Even if it is the last thing I WILL EVER DO!"

As she said those words,
Leanne was subjected to Lana's strong grip,
as she took the scroll from her grandfather's hand and gave it to her.

She nods to her as she pulls Leanne a distance away from Estel and her grandfather.
After all, thunder is volatile magic.

Her grandfather then looked to Estel as she then asked.
"Am I going to be learning fancy light magic?"

But her grandfather shook her head.
"Give me your hand."

As he did the same thing to her similar to Leanne.
He then pulled out a small brush pen, Seid came closer as he pulled out the ink as he dipped the brush in it, he then began to write in her hand.

"It kinda tickles." he smiled a bit as she said so.

He then said.
"In the castle, they tried to scan your attribute when you were a child.
But the arcane scanner showed no signs you had any kind of attribute.
and now you are a half-light dragon before your grandfather's eyes,
which makes a lot more sense now."

Estel asked with curiosity.
"Why does it make sense now?"

He then gently smiled at her.
"Your half-dragon blood was sealing away any chance of detecting any other kind of attribute residing inside you. Your not the failure, everyone at home, believes you are..."

As he then said.

"Let me show you a trick of sealing away your dragon blood temporarily.
So your true element will shine."

As he finished writing a pentagram in her hand he then dipped the ink in the center of her palm as she felt its cold touch, color's began to shine in her hand.

Her grandfather then blinked multiple times as he gazed at it again.
She then asked with an expectant look on her face.
"So... what's my attribute?"
He then had a worried look as he then told her.
"You have the shadow attribute."

Estel had a surprised expression as she reacted.
"Eh?"

Her grandfather had a really troubled expression as he gazed at her.
"Is there something wrong?" Estel asked.

He then said.
"It's just that, its such a shame.
To possess two opposing attributes is an extremely rare circumstance."

He then placed his hand on Estel's shoulders.
"Estel, It's possible that you are...
What our race called a Moonlight Dragon."

Estel had a troubled expression as he said those words.
"What exactly does that mean?"

"Dragons who possess opposing attributes are regarded as unique.
Can you show me your wings just to make sure?"

Estel then gazed at Leanne and Lana with a troubled look.
"Seid if you don't mind."

"yes." as he moved towards them, he then conjured a spell which veiled a wide area,
Completely hindering the three from seeing Estel's wings.

Aisha then complained to him.
"Are you sure, this place is safe?"

"I produced a barrier around this place,
If someone tried to break it, I would have noticed it."

With a gruff and a puff, Aisha revealed it's true form.
It then asked.
"Are you ready?"

Estel nods as Sunset arrives and the orange sun reveals its color,
Aisha shined in front of Estel as her hand touched it.

Her wings sprouted as feathery floating light surrounded the area around her.
Her grandfather eyes went wide with shock as his heart beats faster in astonishment and surprise.
The outer layer of her wings was releasing illusionary feathers which had turned yellow, yet its inner color reflected the beauty of silver almost as though, it reflected the illusion of the moon itself.

Her grandfather swallowed his saliva as he gripped his chest in pain and bitterness.

"Seriously, those fools just took down a once in a century child that only blooms in the deepest night. Truly, their own ignorance is a sin, what a loss."

He then conjured an illusionary mirror in front Estel reflecting her own appearance.

She then saw her own image, as she reached out to it as it turned to smoke.
"What do you think?" He asked her.

As feather's of her own wings fell to her hand as she catches one.
She touched it, it then disappeared from her hand.

Aisha then spoke to her at this moment.

"Our wings are the reflection of our own desires.
The pain you endured and suffering you faced.
The love you kept and the family you cherished.
This is its true reflection of your real wish for true freedom.

Wings that show's your kind heart and innocent soul.

If any of my kin could see you now.
They would without a doubt, turn you into their queen."

But Estel then took a deep breath as she said.
"So these are my wings.
But, I still don't want to fly yet.
Aisha, return to your familiar form.
I'm afraid someone else might see me like this..."

As she said these words, her wings began to break into pieces like glass,
as Aisha shape was formed from the broken pieces.

"We are brittle to take care of us."
He told her grandfather before slithering back to her arm as an armlet.

Tyr then said to her.
"I suppose it's time to learn,
Do you wish to learn how to pocket things using your own shadows?"

Estel smiled as the day of her training began.
As the moon revealed it's color to them,
Her father then snapped his finger as it echoed in the air.
Seid then unveiled his spell as the two were now visible.
With wide smile and worried expression, she then told them a surprise of her attribute.

As the two gave her shocked expressions.

Don't worry, the experimental chapter is actually just an idea for the later chapter.
You will find things are changed when they are written and fleshed out instead of rushed. =3=
