The group was able to move swiftly now. Their speed was still so fast that the Kong Apes lost track of them almost instantly. Dyne would make Amorien veer off the path at times to attack another monster. Some of them weren’t even Kong Apes but some random monster that was lurking nearby.

The path led deeper inside the forest. The path itself had several dangerous spots as various poisonous herbs and flowers could be seen.

Dyne took his time and gathered a lot of the herbs. There was even a large path that was full of herbs that Dyne absorbed and placed in the Monster’s Hive.

After passing through the various poisonous plants, they soon found themselves inside a deep thick mist.

“Were these things placed by your kingdom?” Dyne asked.

“Yes. This is to ensure that very few monsters can come here. The mist here has beguiling magic properties that confuse people. Those who move inside will lose all sense of direction and may even die if they don’t know what to do. Only through a special compass can we pass this mist.” Amorien explained as she took out a small compass that was attached like a pin to her armor.

“I see… I can smell a bit of Confounding Powder here. They mixed it in water and used water dispensing magic to create fog.” Dyne analyzed.

“Amazing. That was… spot on!”

“Hm… I think I’m going to just take some.” Dyne raised Jedo, and a lot of the mist was absorbed.

The group was amazed, but since Dyne had no intention of explaining things, they just kept quiet.

With a human mist vacuum, the group didn’t even suffer from getting confused from the mist but passed through it easily.

Soon, a large part of the mountain blocked their path.

But even before Ishreth could say anything, Dyne took a step forward and passed the mountain as if he knew it was an illusion.

“Master Dyne, you saw through it easily?”

“It’s a bit difficult to explain. But basically, it's because of my Elemental Spirit Seed and my Element. It is the breacher of dimensions. Illusions of this level won’t work on me as long as I keep Brimstone energy circulating.” Dyne summarized.

As the group passed through the illusion, they were led into a winding path. The illusion covered a small valley that had a small path. Still, the area was riddled with illusions, and the area was far darker than it was.

“Humans up ahead,” Dyne warned.

Amorien immediately used her battle skill to give power to her eyes.

“So this is Martial Formation? Amazing. They can create such skill through Life Force alone.” Dyne observed as even he couldn’t understand what Amorien was doing.

“Martial Formation stage is a stage of many developments. Magic casters focus on that, while Might users increase the expert control of Life Force. It enhances the body to do super-human things. Amorien increased the Life energy in her eyes, allowing her to see past the darkness and see the humans. She’s quite talented, to be honest. It seems Basileus Basileon gave you allies who are monsters in their own right?”

“Really? They're that strong?” Dyne frowned.

“Don’t compare them to you, freak.”

“Archers and Knights! All at the first level of the Martial Formation realm!” Amorien warned as she could see three Light-armored men with bows. There were also some heavily armored men.

“Alright. It’s a good thing we found all those herbs. I’ll deal with them!” Dyne offered as he began to take out various herbs.

Dyne placed his palm on the ground and slowly manipulated the ground as he used the Earthen power of the Monster Hive. The earth formed into a shape of a cauldron.

Dyne tossed several herbs into the cauldron and began to harness the energy using Grim.

Following the technique of Calamitous Slime, Dyne began to meld the herbs together with the fire. But instead of heating the cauldron, Dyne was directly burning the herbs using the fire in his hands.

“Alchemy!” Ishreth was stunned at what Dyne was doing.

“You’re an expert alchemist!?” Ishreth marveled.

Dyne finally condensed the herbs, and it was slowly releasing an invisible Mist. Dyne covered it and quickly absorbed the earthen cauldron.

Dyne smiled and turned around to see Ishreth looking at him like Dyne with eyes of reverence and almost… attraction.

Dyne had a strange expression and slowly took a step back at the eyes of the woman.

“Erm… Auntie?” Dyne asked.

“So-Sorry! That was amazing! I am an alchemist as well! But you! You’re in control, those techniques! They are beyond understanding! Is as if Grand Master Calamitus Slime taught you!”

Amorien took a step in front of Ishreth.

“I believe you’ve gazed long enough at master Dyne, Ishreth.” She gave a hard glare on Ishreth.

“Alright! Break it up, you too! Master Dyne. What do you intend to do with that strange concoction?”

“The herbs that I used are powerful numbing medicines. Using the herbs from poison we found earlier, a pinch of Jigul grass, this little bad boy will paralyze even Martial Formation experts! Just watch! Don’t attack for now. Those soldiers will fight and might even inform the enemy if you guys appear. But what if this happens?” Dyne suddenly removed his clothes.

Dyne’s young but well-built body was revealed.

For some strange reason, Ishreth and Amorien were blushing at Dyne's raw and muscular appearance. Despite being ten, Dyne's training and constant exposure to the purest life energy that Strafe's experience drawing technique had shaped and chiseled Dyne's body into a fine piece of art.

What was even more shocking was Dyne's Brimstone chest. It looked as if Dyne was wearing a very magnificent piece of armor.

Dyne shook his head as he saw the reactions of the two.

“Pedophiles.” He thought to himself. He vowed to be extra careful to these two and call them aunties from now on.

“Says the ten-year-old who wants an eighteen-year-old girlfriend. That’s a whole level of perversion right there. If you’re already this perverted when you’re ten, I fear what you’ll be when you hit puberty.” Strafe mocked.

“That’s why I told you the plan. Remember… On lonely nights that I find myself itching... The code is 'Im’ma call Jack!' You know what to do.”

Strafe was disgusted at Dyne, while Jedo was curious what they were talking about.

“Anyway, let me show you my plan. This way, we won’t have to fight those warriors.” Dyne explained to the four warriors and began to put dirt all over his body. His clothes already had blood from the fallen warriors he met when he rescued the four and even in the pile of dead bodies in the cave.

“Hold on to this.” Dyne gave the team the Golden Compass and the Chicken King, But a strange mystery occurred. Even when Dyne was not holding on to it, the Golden Compass and the Chicken King’s effect were still activated!

“What a cheat…” Strafe sighed.

“He can activate it from a distance?! How?” Jedo asked.

Dyne began to limp over towards the dark region where he knew the archers and knights were with his attire in place.

All of a sudden, the illusion of darkness disappeared, and Dyne was in a very well-lit region. The walls that were closing in were actually wide, and the sun had already shone down the ground.

The archers immediately took aim as they saw Dyne step out of the clearing.

“Stop!” The archer stated.

But Dyne kept limping on and was muttering things as if insane.

“That’s a kid!” One of the knights frowned as he took a closer look.

“Is this what triggered the alerts?” One of the Archers asked.

“Dead… Mama! Papa! They are all dead… Those large metal men killed them! Those strange metal men killed my family!” Dyne kept muttering as if insane.

“Metal men?” One of the knights asked.

“He said large metal men, right?” The archer asked his companion.

“Go bring that boy to us. Those metal men might be those strange devices we found on that other ruin!” The knight, who was the leader of the group, commanded.

Another Knight rushed towards the limping Dyne and held to him. Dyne allowed himself to fall down. The knight hurriedly caught Dyne and brought him back. Dyne was carried past the barricades that the archers and soldiers had.

“How did a boy get here?” One of the archers asked.

“Help! My parents! A meteor fell and destroyed the underground city! I don’t know where I am! Please! Let me go back to the Continent of Legaia! I don’t want to be here in the Continent of the Scattered Kingdoms!” Dyne cried.

“Continent of Legaia?!” The soldiers exclaimed as they heard it.

The knights who were overseeing it immediately moved, and almost all the knights began to approach Dyne.

Everyone was curious. Was this boy really from a Continent beyond the Scattered Continents?
