A hundred Theeders and Biron had several Miners and Hunters who could manage to cast this spell. This would surely bring a change. Chrone could also imagine what would happen if Dyne’s plan were executed.

The arrogant cultivators would never expect that so many men would have the ability to cast powerful spells.

If all hundred Theeders were equipped, and Dyne employed ambushes and attacks that would hide the existence of this power, they could easily repel the enemies around this place!

“A hundred Theeders. And if we play our cards right, we might get our hands on stronger Serus. The Theeders require exceptional Martial Novices with high mana. So only those like these Legaia natives can wield them. But maybe if there are people who have an affinity for Lighting, they could try it out. But Merkley should have some who have been studying magic. They should have a higher pool and could cast one spell.”

“We must inform the King!” Chrone exclaimed.

“That’s what we will do. Oh good! Emera’s here!” Dyne could see the figure of Emera arriving.

“Master Dyne!” Emera cheerfully charged and dove towards Dyne to hug him.

“I missed you!” Emera shouted.

“A Revenant…” Rena learned about the types of ghosts in her days in the Church. She could identify the powerful being before her and be almost horrified. But this powerful ghost was hugging Dyne like crazy.

“Good to see you too, Emera!” Dyne smiled.

“Lord Dyne… You have quite a few allies. Oh, and you’ve already added another one for your harem.” Emera noticed Rena.

“What amazing power! Her magic is too pure! Such a great ally! It’s good to meet you, sister! I’m Emera.”

Rena was stunned at Emera’s bubbly personality.

“Ermm… Hi! I’m Rena.”

“Has Master Dyne told you of his women? Arya is just one of us. I hope we can get along together.” Emera chuckled.

“She’s not a part of any harem, Emera. And I don’t have a harem!” Dyne defended. He was almost in tears as he said this.

“Anyway! We have to hurry! Emera! Get everyone to gather here at once! We need to make plans! Ra-Seru heroes! Come with me! We will be attacking our enemies with Seru summons and will be retreating. How many magic leaves do we have?”

A young woman moved ahead and gave Dyne a jar full of leaves. It was the same woman who Dyne questioned as she was involved in Songi and Gala’s battle and was the one who revealed that Songi cheated in the fight.

“Here are thirty-seven Magic leaves. But it may take a while for the rest to bloom.”

“It’s alright. We can make more along the way. This mountain has a lot of herbs that I can use to mix up more blackberries that recover magic. Vahn and Noa follow me. Arya… Oh good! You already chose a Gizam!” Dyne smiled.

“Yes. I was told that this creates a massive water attack.”

“Exactly! You should have enough magic to summon a few attacks. Maybe 2?”

“I think I can do four,” Arya answered as the power of the Gizam merged with her.

“Four?!” Dyne was stunned.

“But how? Is it related to your wind power? I sensed that you also have wind.” Dyne asked.

“Yes. Jedo discovered something about me and told me.”

“It was me.” Strafe secretly spoke to Dyne.

“She has a rare condition known as twin polar elements. She’s good with two elements and has nearly double the mana pool.” Strafe lied to hide Earth Arya.

“OH! That’s great! Good on you, Arya. Then let’s head out! It’s time to take this Wild Arm and go wild! We will be hitting all three armies And doing a little something I like to call Seru Harassment. Emera, do you have a map of the place and the locations of the enemy?”

“Yes. Here is the map. All three have created their fortresses near the portal that they came out of. The original Afarit is located here. But two more portals are believed to have opened over here.”

“Good. We’re off. Chrone, and Master Zopu, please continue to get acquainted with each other. Chrone, you should go to the other side of the portal to understand the world of my friends. Oh, by the way. This is basically a monastery, and I’m the Patriarch. We will be back by sundown. With the Chocobos, we can easily move and hit every one of them quickly. Emera! Lead the way!” Dyne gave orders, and the group moved.

“Vahn. Go with me.” Serge offered.

Vahn nodded and rode the Chocobo with Serge as they ran out. Noa and Arya also followed as they went ahead and disappeared on the horizon.

“A monk and a priest. There’s a joke in here somewhere.” Juno laughed as he watched the scene.

“Technically, I’m a nun, uncle.” Rena laughed.

As the group began to talk, Emera led the way to the location of the first enemy fort.

“This army is building a fort in front of the portal. They have beasts with an amazing sense of smell positioned around the area. So we weren't able to sneak in. Some of them could even smell me!"

"Then we'll create a mixture of herbs to hide our scents. What are the details of this kingdom?"

"They carry flags with a strange crest of a ball with lightning on top. They have a lot of humans but also command strange beasts that do their bidding. King Leoric said that they belonged to a Sanctuary kingdom called Sturak Sanctuary. It’s a monster-breeding kingdom that specializes in a job known as monster taming.”

“Oh? That’s an interesting kingdom! If it’s a sanctuary, it's even stronger than Tristam!”

“Yes. But our intelligence reports that they only sent a small squadron here. It should have enough force to destroy a Mid-Level town.”

“So just like Trithfert… What about the other force that has entered this place?”

“They just arrived yesterday. They belong to a kingdom of powerful magic users. They specialize in battle mages and have mages with the famous Spell Slot. This means they can shoot magic with little to no preparations and chants!”

“Oh. I have that too. I have a few, and I plan to teach you guys about them in Legaia. You guys should have at least two Spell Slots each.”

"... Is it difficult to create?"

"No. Not really. We just need a couple of Serus. Uncle Lucas's performance with the Gimard gave me inspiration. I just hope ghosts like you can carry Serus."

“… I have nothing to say but am full of deep admiration for my master.” Emera gave a blank response and secretly cursed at Ishreth, who told her how fearful this Spell Slot was. Apparently, it wasn't a big deal since Dyne was very casual about having one.

“Of the three forces, it seems that this spell caster kingdom called Ararat is the strongest. But the place where the Afarit were had grown dark, and more demonic spawns have appeared.”

“He must have summoned it with the slain dragon. In terms of power, Ararat is the strongest, but in terms of cultivation and raw power, the Afarit is the strongest. Ifrit. The ones in Sturak should be Mephistopheles, and the ones in Ararat should be Baalzebub, correct?” Dyne asked the Wild Arm.

“Correct, master Dyne. It is as you say. I can sense their powers.” Ifrit answered.

“...Master Dyne… What in the heavens is that?!” Emera was shocked as it sensed Ifrit as he talked.

“Oh. This isn’t from the heavens but from hell. This is half of Afarit’s soul. It’s an ally, don’t worry.”

“… I have nothing to say but am full of deep admiration for my master,” Emera repeated.

“Let’s go and attack the monster dens then. Serge, since you’re here, why don’t you be the bait?” Dyne asked.

“...Alright.” Serge sighed.

“Good… Here’s the plan!” Dyne then gave the details of the plan.

On the western region of the forest…

A small fortress was being made as monstrous beasts, large trolls, and creatures of many sorts began to lift logs and stones to complete the fort.

“Scouts! Report.” The Commander of the brigade saw that their scouts had returned.

“Commander. We have explored the region and note that magical beasts and monstrous beasts of all sorts are here. We have identified that the portal leading to Martsirt is over here and that the base of Lord Mephistopheles’s brother is over here. Ararat also recently arrived yesterday. But we cannot find the force of King Ciroel in this region. And…”

“And?”

“Most of the scouts we sent to search the southern part of this forest have not returned. We believe that they are dead.”

The Commander frowned.

“Even our beasts are dead?”

“Yes. We found some corpses of the mounts of some tamers. But the scouts themselves are nowhere to be found.”

“Then we shall prepare an army to march. Send word to Ararat and send a bird to deliver the message to lord Diablo’s men. We shall begin coordinating with them for our attacks. The small team of King Ciroel shouldn’t have the power to attack all three of our forces.” The Commander decided.

Suddenly, the skies darkened.

Lightning and thunder began to crack loudly in the area, and a strange portal opened above the skies.

Strange bug-like beasts that looked like it was made of stone appeared. It had the shape of the upper torso of a man and had claws as fingers.

It was color purple and looked down on the fortress that was being built.

“What’s that?! Shoot it down! Get the Sky beast up to attack it!” The Commander ordered.

The group began to move, and some flying creatures rose and charged toward the strange being when a terrifying amount of lightning energy gathered around it.

“Quick! Shields! Deploy our shields! Where are the Shield Beasts?!” The Commander sensed it and gave orders, but it was too late.

The Viguro shot down its attack, Plasma Storm, and it shot at the very heart of the base.

BOOM!

Hidden in the thicket of bushes on the outskirts of the base, Dyne and his team were there.

“Alright. Serge! Your up! Charge in and try to create a distraction! Take Grim, Ururu, and Gyoro with you!” Dyne ordered, and Serge charged out with his Chocobo.
