A Time To Rethink

As the world converted to normal, the strings were encased around us not letting even a signal wave of light through. From outside i can hear falling objects colliding with the strings, how was strings this tough? I wounder

Than from out of nowhere something like a fist hit my face "dude why did you do that?!" Nex yelled, was he the one who hit me?

"They were going to collapse the roof!" Sebastian yelled back from the other side. How hard was Ned planning to hit his friend? It hurts like an ball to the face.

"Do you really think they would kill themselves!? That was probably just a way to threat the idiot's and they would have never trigger it, if you didn't jump down yelling like a moron!"

"Didn't you see that asshole had the detentions button?!"

"And didn't you see that button will only cause abilities go rogue, that wasn't connected to the bombs at all!" The two content yelling at each other until a womans voice spoke to them telling them to shut up.

"You two calm down" it was Sebastian's mother.

"Yes mother" Sebastian quickly answered and obey.

"Yes ma'am, wait if your there and your parents are over there, than who did i hit?" It was pitch black so no one couldn't anything. l

"Ahh" I let out a sound to check if i can talk, to be real i thought that hit would of have broken my bones. At less i know i can still talk and they know iam here.

"Wait who are you?!" Sebastian freaked out.

"It's me Cristal" i answer.

After answering a light the color of gold shined within the dark, a phone screen iam sure. Ned moved up and pointed the opposite way from his face before another bright light came from it blinding blinding him, causing him to curse.

He than shined the light towards me, it was so bright i think i'll rather stare at the sun. After letting them get a good look at me, i couldn't take the light and cover my face.

"Cristal? Your here?" Ned ask

"You guys seem to think this cobwebs of strings was safe so i follow suit" after hearing that, Ned sigh and moved the light in a 360° degree spin to showing us who was in here.

Only five of us was inside the cocoon, the two boys, me and Sebastian's Mother and Father. Confirming the number Ned than set the phone face down in the middle of the cocoon allowing the light to light up most of place.

"Why are you two boys here?" Sebastian's Father carried a ton a anger and worry "i thought you agreed to stayed the weekend over, why are you here?"

"I couldn't leave you guys!" Sebastian explains.

"What about your friend?"

"Iam here because i through this would be a good way to kill time instead of just staying home for summer break" well you have bitten off more than you can chew Ned, now your in this hole with us.

Sebastian's Father pinched his glabella in frustration over Ned idotic reason for coming here. Luckily Sebastian's Mother was their to say her words "Well we can't do anything about it anymore Dear"

"Yes" his father signs and sat down looking up at the white cocoon ceiling "lets wait for the rescue team to dig us out"

Guess i'll be stuck here with them for a while, i wounder what is this stingy substance? Looking over at Sebastian, i wasn't expecting an answer from him directly but it seems like it's his ability.

To create harden strings that he can control, the size of the string itself was small, like a spiderweb size, but their was a lot of them. Touching it told me it was warm, like a paper that just came out of the printer, it doesn't seem to lose heat and oddly enough seem to even move or twitch.

As i was investigating this strange power, Ned who had been staring at a direction for a good minute now spoke "it seems there are more survivors than i thought" what? How did he know?

"How many survived?" Sebastians father asked confused by the fact Ned knows their are other survivors.

Ned scanned around the walls as if he could see right through it than told us "4 are uninjured and in a group, 2 are injured but i doubt any of them will make it"

"How can you tell so easily? Can you see their souls?" Sebastian ask jokingly

"You can say it like that, ah they are on the move, the group of 4 living ones are floating up and there they go" a group of four? I think that's was the Hellish family, ashame i couldn't finish them all off.

"The rescue team is quick this time" Sebastians father scoffs.

"If the rescue can fly freely than yes" the flyer was probably Lucifer, he seem to be the only one in the family that is a Natural and has a petal of powers.

"Guess i had to much hope for those cowards" Sebastian's father seem to dislike the police force for some reason, maybe he blames all those incidents on them?  "now Ned? When we get out of here, i want you to head right on home before you get to deep into this mess"

"To late for that, you think i didn't hear and see everything from the vents? And i too am like you 4" he said with a smirk "I can see someone for who they really are" he push his lower eyelid down with his middle finger while closing the other one "and iam sure Reborn will also be hunting me, and i fear if i go back to my house they will take my family as hostages, you also have similars fears right?" His said with a devil's attention.

"But you'll be in more danger with us than with your family" Sebastian pointed out.

"Iam willing to take the hit for them"

Sebastain saw no way to discourage his friend from tagging along and told his Father "Father iam sure he can keep up with us, if he couldn't than he wouldn't be my friends"

"But what about your parents?"

"Like i said for their safety i need to stay away"

"And where will you go?"

"Can i stay at your place than?" Ned ask

"N- yes, it would be best for us to stick together" the man had given up, if his son can't persuade him than what can he do?

After a moment of silence Sebastian's mother asked me while walking over to me "are you ok? Cristal was your name? Weren't you the girl killing them?" She couldn't put what i did infront of everyone in good terms, but she didn't have to.

"The first son and daughter?" Iam a bit proud of myself for that, it was like break a chain that held you back for many years.

"Yes, i should thank you for that!" No need, i know alot of family hate Reborn with a passion but couldn't do anything because they fear Lucifer's retribution. "Why don't you stay with us! As thanks!"

"Mom your too nice" Sebastian rejected the idea

"It's ok madam, i can make it on my own" it would be nice to have help, but the help was not the type i needed. I want to claim the other 4's life that escaped, right now i don't want to stop my killing spree of the Helsing's just yet.

But my answer made Sebastian's Mother worry and seeing his Mother worried, Sebastian came over and whispered into my ear.

"Cristina, just stay over for a bit and we can help you get you revenge" how sharp was he? "If you run now the government would likely mark you as an terrorists to try and cover up the incident and would it be bad if you are hunted by the government as a terrorist and the Hell's fondation as a internal enermy at the same time? You will never being able to rest for a moment" he, is he trying to blackmail me?! "now how can you get back at them if you can't even walk around in the night streets without being hunted by one of the two, if you accept Mother's offering we can bail you out and allow you recover some of your strength with worry"

(You like him don't you?) who are you? It wasn't Sebastian, he's right infront of me and for sure didn't say that. No one is behind me and it doesn't fit grown adults voice, Ned? No i can see him in view and he's watch us without moving his mouth a bit. But the question, any teen would want to be with Sebastian, aside from how he's a bit lean, everything else was all an teen girl coupf dream about, well his priority's is questionable, but that's all. (Why don't you use this chance to get close to him? If you can become a part of his family, won't you have him follow you? His help will be need to kill them, we both know you can do that alone) it was right, i can only dream of fighting an whole organization made up of Natural's. But what was that? The devil's whisper? What every it was it made me rethink my plan of foolishly jumping at them.

I grid my teeth as i bow accepting the opportunity "Than i will take up the offer, ill be in your care for a while, thank you"
