Right now,both of us are inside the truck,I'm catching my breath after all of that running throughout the town and the girl is murmuring something to herself in a volume that I couldn't catch,after a while she stopped murmuring and she asked the guy 

"Where are we going?."

Then the guy replied shortly with

"The disaster shelter."

After that the atmosphere in the truck continued to be cold,the truck guy just keep driving without saying anything,suddenly the truck guy said

"Because both of you might think I'm a suspicious guy so first I'm going to say this I have no malicious intent when I saved you guys,is this enough?"

Both of us then nodded in confirmation,then the guy said

"My name is Toraku Jin you guys can call me Jin and you guys don't need to use honorific on me,I'm 25 years old and as you can see I'm a truck driver,I saw you guys running from the zombie when I was returning from a delivery  so I saved you guys." 

After Jin gave his intro to us,I thought I should give my intro next,but the girl stole the march from me and she said

"My name is Yurina Armen my friend call me Yurina,I'm half japanese and half germany,even though I look like a grade-schooler I'm actually a second year at Jintetsu Middle School."

when she said she is from Jintetsu Junior High School,I remembered that there was a cute transfer student in the class next door so I asked her

"Could you be the rumoured transfer student in Class 2-A?"

She looked suprised then she said 

"Yes I am,but how did you know that? Do you study there too?." to answer her question I introduce myself

"My name is Tanaka Ichirou,I'm also a second year at Jintetsu Junior High School and to answer your question I'm from class 2-B."

After all of us gave each of our introduction the atmosphere inside the truck warmed up a bit,then we continued our small talk for some time,then I asked Jin about the situation right now

"Jin,do you know what is happening right now?"

Then he thought for a little bit then he answered my question

"The situation right now is quite severe,those zombie came from the Rikuya Mountain (mountain behind the Jintetsu Middle School) and they has spread to all over the place and in the radio they said something about locking Yokohama so the zombie doesn't escape."(Kobayashi Town is in Yokohama)

After hearing what Jin has said Yurina looked a bit anxious then she asked him

"Jin,do you know what happened to the area near the school?"

Jin thought to himself for a while then he eventually said to her in a serious tone

"based on what I've heard in the radio,there are no survivor."

The anxious look on Yurina face turned into a hopeless one then she said in a depressed tone

"n-n-no way."(stuttering)

At that moment Jin knows he has make a big mistake,so Jin tries to convince her that there are still hope,he then said

"But it is not like there's no more hope left,the government  has created a shelter for survivor to go,maybe your family might be there so please don't make that face."

Even after Jin said that Yurina's condition still hasn't recovered so I asked her

"Hey Yurina do you hear what Jin just said?"

But Yurina didn't respond so I tried to annoy her

"Is anyone there?"

 I whispered to her ear but she didn't respond so I tried multiple ways (the rest is omitted)But she still didn't respond,so I have no choice left except to use that line which the protagonist used in that manga a long time ago

"Yurina,I may not know what you are going through now but if there is anything that I can help you just need to ask me." I said that while smiling to her

According to the manga the female character should be cheered up by now but that doesn't really happen in reality.The hopeless look on Yurina turned into a contempt look and then she said to me

"Huh!?"

I got suprised with her response then she continues to vent her emotion to me

"Do you think you're some kind of anime protagonist,do you really think a girl would get encouraged by that hollow line,over my dead body."

When she said that I just couldn't handle it anymore then I said

"You looked depressed so I said that embarrassing line to you,is it that wrong!?"

Our argument went for a long time until Jin said something

"Yurina,you looked energetic now,where did all of those depression go?"

Then Yurina now with an energetic tone said

"Thanks to a certain idiot my depression is all gone,right now I'm filled with expectations if my family survived and they're there waiting for me at the shelter."

Jin then said to me 

"Good Job Tanaka you had completely cheered up Yurina" while flashing a smile to me.

After a while,Jin said to me with a curious tone

"Hey Tanaka,after I sent Yurina to the shelter I'm going back to my HQ so where will you go?"

Then I replied with a casual tone

"I'm going back to my house,don't worry my house is just a few block away from here"

Jin then replied with a "Is that so."

The truck then arrived at the intersection near my neighborhood so I said to Jin

"Jin here is my neighborhood you can drop me here."

Then he replied with a simple ok,when i was going to exit the truck Jin whispered something to me

"Tanaka if you're in any kind of trouble call me"

He gave me a card so I put it in my trousers pocket then I said "Thanks" to him.After I exited the truck Yurina said 

"Hey Tanaka,Thanks for cheering me up,you're a nice guy after all."

I was suprised that such a nice word came from that mouth so I said to her

"You're welcome and Yurina I hope you get to meet your family."

Then I sprinted to my house leaving the truck behind me and when there is no one near me I said to myself

"That was really embarrassing."
