Hearing about this apparent wave of monsters, made Leo imagine some monsters he saw in movies back on earth. With goosebumps appearing all over his body, he was not expecting one of the guards to kick him face first into a big patch of dirt.

The guards started to laugh while one of them fist bumped the guard who had done this to Leo. It was as if the guard who had done this to Leo, was not expecting him to be this weak, but just went along with it to keep their morale high.

Beep Beep Beep!

"Huh?" hearing several beeping noises, Leo pulled his face out of the dirt and wiped his face off. He saw a bright blue screen with writing on it in front of him. "This is just getting weirder and weirder." Leo thought as he stared at the screen in a daze like state of mind.

First there was waking up in a cave, and now a blue screen just so happened to appear when he fell into some dirt? Leo started to cough out some of the dirt that he almost swallowed while thinking of what all of this actually was. He did not pay attention at all to the guards who were all laughing behind him,

"Hey kid, you had better hurry it up before I literally kick your ass flying towards that building. I take my master's orders very seriously!" shouted another guard, annoyed to see Leo just sitting and staring in front of him in a day dream like state of mind. "Hey kid, did you hear me!?"

Hearing what the guard had yelled towards him, Leo did not feel the need to stand up right away as he finished his thoughts. This screen, the bigger animals, the corpse, there was no way he was still on earth. He tried to piece this puzzle together, but was still lacking some vital information to bring this full circle.

Beep Beep Beep!

Shaking the dirt off his robe, Leo started to slowly walk towards the direction of the building as he started to read the screen in front of him. He did not want to make the guards around him even more upset and decided that he could figure this all out once no one's attention was on him.

- New Quest. Will you accept or decline? -

"Since those guards did not notice this screen, it must mean that I am either a total lunatic, or that this world is built like a video game. Oh well, might as well click the drop-down menu for the description of the quest. It is even ranked E."

With the guards from the village walls no longer paying attention to him, Leo decided to sit down behind a tree and clicked the drop-down menu. Due to this apparent upcoming wave of monsters, it would be abnormal for the guards to spend too much time observing Leo. They needed to prepare the best that they could.

"What!?" to his surprise, the mission was one that was based on him surviving the monster wave. "Why would I receive a random mission such as this one? Not just that, this quest literally goes hand and hand with my current position within this place." Leo pondered to himself as he read the details.

-Survive the monster wave through the night to earn your reward-

"Well, if I died tonight, I would lose my life regardless. I might as well click accept so that I can at least earn something that might help me continue surviving." thought Leo as he clicked the accept button. There was no reason for Leo to hesitate in this moment, and he felt that this would be the best option for him to take at this time.

Beep Beep Beep!

-You have accepted an E rank quest-

"Well, I hope that the citizens of this village are going to be nice to me. If they are used to battling against monsters, they might show me some kindness since I am also a human."

The quest was a sign to Leo to remain in this village and to see the night through here instead of traveling out of the village and to somewhere else entirely. He understood that there was safety when it came to numbers, and he was focused on completing this mission that this screen presented to him.

Without wasting anymore time, Leo dashed towards the building. It did not come across as strange when he spotted dozens of other warriors all suited up for a battle surrounding it. None of these warriors paid any attention to him as he made his way to the front of the building.
