After releasing the frightful presence the collective tribe of goblins slowly but steadily began to regain their composure. While none of them dared to raise from their bowing position they did begin to look up at me. And so I waited for about five minutes while they silently stared at me. Okay that it. “ I order you to provide me with your questions.”

At that the one that I had talked to early in the dream spoke up. It took Evelyn’s magic a while to translate what he was saying but  I soon found my question. “ What does bathing mean?”

I had to stop myself from smacking my forehead at the implications of that comment. “ Bathing is the act of washing the dirt and filth off one's body in order to get and stay clean. Doing so should make you healthier.” 

“ Oh I see.” Zor said as the other goblins started talking amongst themselves. “ Are there any other questions?”

“ Um voice of god ma’am.” A female goblin next to Zor asked. “ Yes, what is it?” “ What’s alcohol and mind altering substances?”

“ Ah.” They don’t know what alcohol is? Though I suppose most people in a tribe like this wouldn't call it that, I guess. Not to mention “Mind altering substances” I should have just said drugs. What would they even know what drugs are?

“ I handle this one boss.” Evelyn said. “ Alcohol is like the berries you eat at a feast and Mind altering substances are the things you eat during the rituals you perform to commune with the spirits Mii.”

Having been called by name the goblin girl reacted with a start before saying “ I understand.” and kneeling back down. “ Are there any more questions?” I asked the crowd. 

“Yes.” the goblin Zor said as he was rising to his feet. “ What does the little one want from us?”

“ Fayetta.” I said to get the pixies attention before signaling her to speak.

“ Well um, Can you tell me some interesting stories, and, um, make some toys for me, oh, and make me some sweets.” Fayetta said as I cringed inside as the child-like fairy made her demands but to my surprise a lot of the goblins seemed to relax after that. It seems that they were just happy to get some simple, relatively harmless demands.

“ Are there any more questions?” I asked the crowd again and this time no one responded. After a short period I said “ Evelyn, Fayetta, you two stay here and do as we previously discussed.” 

With that I turned around and began heading back to the dungeon with the rest of my entourage.
