I changed Time Stipend a bit. I will repost the edited ability here.

Time Stipend: Each day, gain a certain amount of time to do whatever you want with it. You can go turn back time by thinking Back and specifying the amount of time, if you don't think anything besides Back then it is a default of 1 minute. You can accelerate yourself and the objects you hold by thinking Accelerate and how faster you want it. Defaulted at 2 times speed, and can end it by thinking Accelerate again. You can stop time by thinking Stop, air, and water particles near you will function normally, can displace solid objects or living objects, but cannot change their base structure or current movement vector. Objects leaving your body by a distance of 1 meter will stop in the air. Can resume time by thinking Stop. At lvl 0: Gains 1 minute per day, the Acceleration time conversion base is 1:1. All abilities will cease the moment you have no more time.

Time Stipend lvl 1: Increases time generation to 3 minutes. The Acceleration time conversion base is now 1:3.

Vivian opened the door and saw the delivery man holding their order.

She took the bag, gave him a 4$ tip, and closed the door, not noticing a glint in the delivery guy's eyes.

The delivery guy went downstairs, pulled out a phone, and dialed a number. The line soon connected.

"What is it, Gael, Did you find a target?" A voice sounded from across the line.

"Yeah, found a real gem this time. I don't think she was anyone important too, living in such a rundown apartment of some nobody."

"Ok, I trust your judgment. Tell me the address."

Meanwhile, Eli and Vivian were happily eating their burrito bowls.

Vivian from time to time sneaked a peek at him. Finally, she asked, "Hey Eli, You said that you are now dismissed from the army right? Wanna join the Purple skull gang? I'm sure Papa would gladly accept an able veteran like you!"

Eli took a moment to consider it. Does he want to join a gang? He can get plenty of info if he does that. That means more targets for points.

But then, he remembered that gangs are not really organized. Unlike a mafia, they are just riffraff, with barely any semblance of a solid foundation in them. Dog eat dog you can say. If they had a good information network though, he can consider being an ally.

"Hmm... Tell you what. Let me talk to your papa and then I will consider it."

Vivian was visibly elated. Maybe she just managed to get a good fighter for the gang. Papa would praise her for this! Besides, this guy is a hottie...

Suddenly a ringtone sounded from Vivian's pocket. When she picked saw the caller, her face changed and turned bitter.

Answering the phone, she said, "Hey sweetest big brother, how are you?"

A loud voice sounded from the other side. "Vivian, where, the hell, are you!? You told me you are going to Ximena, but when I passed by and wanted to say hello, you were not there! Ximena didn't even know you came to her! Are you taking independent jobs again?! Papa and I told you that it's dangerous! Tell me where you are, I'm coming to pick you up with some of the boys."

Vivian sighed in defeat and told him the address. She then turned and smiled apologetically at Eli, "Sorry Eli, I can't stay anymore, you can dock it from my pay."

Eli patted her shoulder reassuringly, "Don't worry, you helped me greatly already. Here's your pay!" Eli generously gave her 500$. He didn't mind paying the extra 200$. It was worth the info he got, and the company and eye-candy... With the abilities he now has, it should be easy earning cash.

"Thanks, Eli! Your the best! Mwa*" Vivian kissed him on the cheek.

Knock* Knock* Knock* A knocking sound was at the door.

"Hah? That was fast! Big Brother Abel barely called 10 minutes ago!" Vivian ran to the door and opened it.

What she saw was 3 burly and bald men, with tattoos all over their faces, staring at her like hungry wolves. One of them covered her mouth, and she could only let a muffled scream out. Another one quickly covered her head with a cloth, and a third one tied her hands.

Eli, who was sitting on the couch, watched it for 2 seconds, stupefied. He then quickly realized that she was being kidnapped. He then uttered in his mind 'Back 15 seconds'.

The scene returned to the time where Vivian kissed Eli's cheek. Mwa*

Knock* Knock* Knock* A knocking sound was at the door.

"Hah? That was fast! Big Brother Abel barely called 10 minutes ago!" Vivian wanted to run to the door.

"Wait Vivian, let me open it." Eli quickly stopped her and went to the door. He was ready to pull his gun the moment they tried pulling a gun.

He opened the door and sure enough, 3 burly men were at the door. They seemed surprised at first, but seeing it was just one guy, they didn't care and went in to grab him!

Eli decided he wanted to test his ability a bit. 'Accelerate' He thought in his mind.

Suddenly, the men seemed to move much slower. Not too slow, but slow enough that it is the difference between a runner and a jogger.

Eli easily avoided a grab and went for a punch at the rightmost guy. The power of the punch, however, was more than he imagined. He just wanted to knock the guy out, but it ended up knocking out his teeth too. And they were shooting out of the thug's mouth twice as slow, making him remember some action movies. But there was one problem, his hand stung like a bitch.

It then clicked, He was moving twice as fast. That means that the kinetic energy is actually 4 times as much from the K.E. = 0.5* m*v^2 formula. However, even if he moves faster, it does not mean that his body can actually handle it!

Eli quickly changed tactics and used his elbow and knee instead, body parts far harder and durable than his fist, and hit them both in the chest. With a crunchy sound of rib bones cracking, they collapsed. 'Accelerate'. And the world turned back to normal. He used 10 seconds to deal with the thugs. Plus the 15 seconds he used, he used a total of 25 seconds. Not bad for a test run.

Eli quickly checked the status and sure enough, he now had 1 minute and 30 seconds saved. He got 1 extra minute after he woke up in the morning.

Vivian who was watching it all from the side was at first, of course, Scared out of her wits when she saw the burly men trying to grab Eli, but after that, he moved so quickly that it almost looked like some superhero movie. "So cool..." She muttered, and thought to herself, "And he's a hottie too... Seems reliable also, And he looks single... Got to make him my boyfriend, before his snatched!" As she reached this conclusion, she stared at him a bit differently and blushed. Until now, she was teasing him for fun, but now...
