The morning sun soon rose brightly above the clouds as the five of us sat down at the dining table, holding a toast on our hands and a soft apple juice on our other, bright and warm smiles could be seen on each one of us as we ate our breakfast.

“What are your plans for today?” I asked before Mana tilted her head.

“I have to prepare for the party at Flora’s school in the next two days, from the clothing to the desserts… I might have to go shopping today, how about you?” Mana replied while looking at Leisha who was munching on her toast happily, after all, it was the toast she went wild for in the past.

“Hm… I dwon’t hab mash tu doh todeh…” Leisha answered before looking at Kaori who was quietly drinking her apple juice with a relaxed expression.

“Me… err… I don’t have anything to do as well,” Kaori replied before all of them looked at me, ignoring the cute little fluff ball beside our table who was eating on her toast messily.

“Err… I think I have to report to the headmaster today,” I responded as all of them nodded simultaneously before they looked at each other with sparks flying around as Kaori took out a dice from her pocket, throwing it up in the air as it landed on the table with a six.

“It seems like Kaori will accompany you today…” Mana suddenly spoke while looking at Kaori with a bitter smile… I didn’t understand what that dice was for but for some reason it seems like they were picking who will accompany me.

“The trophy is on me, today~!” Kaori said with a smug as she looked at Mana before sparks flew around them almost like a battle.

“Then I will look after Mana and Flora,” Leisha volunteered before the rest of them nodded in agreement while they looked at Flora who was eating messily, leaving breadcrumbs all over the place and raspberry jam all over her cheeks.

The gluttonous fluff ball will never change, staying as the fluff ball she was always was… that is the best part about the little cute Flora, her cute oblivious attitude that makes everyone want to spoil her for eternity.

“Anyhow, how long will the three of you take?” I looked at Mana and asked as she wiped the mess on Flora’s cheeks before turning towards me as she frowned her eyebrows.

“Maybe around noon at maximum, that is excluding the time it takes for our little girl to be satisfied with eating all the meals around the city…” she smiled wryly, looking at Flora who was staring back at Mana with confusion.

“Right… the gluttonous money eater…” Leisha said as she looked at Flora with fear, trembling.

It seems like Flora had done her a sin especially considering that Leisha and Kaori were practically the ones who took care of the finance part while I was gone, the burden Flora had must have caused her a lot of nightmares.

“Well, now that Ayumi is here… she can sustain the little girl’s eating habits, can’t she?” Kaori asked as she looked at me with a smile.

“I mean, I can with the allowance I receive from the headmaster which is around a few hundred times more than Flora’s monthly eating expense…” I answered.

“Then that issue should no longer be a problem since I can also help out with any expenses that we lack since I earn around a few dozen more than the little girl’s monthly eating expense… how about the two of you, do you lack any money to buy what you need?” Kaori looked at Mana and Leisha who both looked a bit embarrassed.

Leisha should be earning a lot in the past before she became part of us which forced her to leave a part of her usual jobs, slicing a large amount of her income which I still feel bad till this day while Mana is a housewife… so basically, she handles our finance.

“How much do you two need?” I asked before Mana took out a piece of paper, handing it towards me as Kaori and I looked at it before being surprised. The two of us were stunned, speechless over the quantity they lacked because… it was too small.

“The two of you don’t have a single gold coin?” Kaori questioned before the two started whistling as they looked at Flora who was as always oblivious to how much we invest in her.

“What about the money I left behind before I went into a coma, there should have been a few dozens of gold coins there…” I said before Mana averted her gaze.

“Err… I was expecting you to take a month or two to wake up, so I went full economic saving money and reduced our spending to around a few silver coins each week to try and last us at least two months with the savings…” Mana said with a blush.

I feel like Mana really takes too little credit for her actions; she must have racked up her entire brains to see which expenses she should cut to reduce our weekly spending from around two to ten gold coins a week to as little as a few silver coins a week… that’s a shocking reduction, to be honest.

“I see… you deserve a salary increase; you can take around ten to twenty gold coins with you for the trip… feel free to spend as much as you want since you deserve it…” I said with a smile before looking at Kaori who was also nodding.

“You can take this as well, there are around ten gold coins there for the two of you even though I consider the two of you as my rivals… I can’t help but admit that the two of you were exceptionally good…” Kaori blushed as the three of them looked at each other with warm gazes that made me smile a bit.

“Mwama! Flowa wants to eat steamed buns!” Flora suddenly intervened in the warm atmosphere, causing all of us to laugh as the little glutton looked at us confused… as oblivious as ever, spoiled and cute.

“Alright! We’ll buy some steamed buns after we finished eating, okay?” Mana said before Flora nodded with proper etiquette as all of us soon started eating our toasts, discussing a few details left and right before time passed as we separated from one another at the gate.
