The Water Anthology's Commenting Competition!

Just like our previous anthologies, we have a little friendly commenting competition planned for this anthology! Remember, the ultimate goal is to comment and positively engage with all the lovely authors in this season's BL anthology!

To find your commenting team, take this little quiz~! After answering the questions, you will be put in one of four teams! If you have any difficulties with the quiz, please send us a DM or ping an anthology moderator on discord.

NOTE THAT THE RULES HAVE CHANGE THIS YEAR! The rules have streamlined~!

Each team member can make comments under the entries in this anthology. Each comment you make awards points depending on its length. AND you can get extra points by making a public rec post on social media.

By the end of the anthology release, the team with the highest amount of points wins the comment battle of BL Palace teams and obtains glory until the next anthology!

◊ POINT SYSTEM ◊ 

1 point: a comment that is one line long or shorter on bafflinghaze's computer.

2 points: a comment that is at least two lines long.

3 points: a comment that is at least three lines long.

4 points: a comment that is at least four lines long.

5 points: a comment that is at least five lines long. Note: 5 points is the maximum that bafflinghaze will count (˶˃𐃷˂˶)

NEW! +2 extra points: making a recommendation post for a story on social media (e.g., tumblr, bsky, etc.) Only one social media post counts, and the post must include a review of the story. Post the link to the recommendation post in discord and flag bafflinghaze.

Tips: You can comment using emojis, reactions to different parts of the story, provide short feedback, or comments based on the plot, characters, themes, style/execution/tone, pacing/technique. Here's a commenting cheat sheet if you want more guidance on commenting. 

All points will be counted after the last entry of the anthology comes out and two full weeks passes afterward!
