Chapter 26 – The Dates Part 1

Date With Aki ~

I was currently in the happiest place on Earth with the happiest little, BUT TOTALLY NOT A LOLI, dragon on Earth. 

Akirina, the Terror of the North, the nameless white dragon of legend, and my lovely diminutive Kuudere wife was humming happily while holding my hand and walking down Main Street USA.

She stood at only 4'3"(131 cm) with long straight silver, almost white, hair and golden yellow eyes. This was quite the contrast between my 6'2"(189 cm) height and pale red eyes. 

Her height, build, and small stature would lead anyone to believe that she was way too young for me, but we made great efforts to avoid this being an issue. 

We each wore matching black and red Husband/Wife T-shirts with arrows pointing at each other and styled in the classic Disney look. Other than that, she wore a long flowing white skirt, yellow flats with bows near her toes, and had on a headband with a pair of mouse ears. 

I wore simple blue jeans and sneakers with my shirt and, at Aki's assistance, a large, green Goofy hat. 

I even cast translation magic on her so that she could talk to anyone and understand everything, just in case she needed to explain. So, all in all, we should have nothing to worry about.

We looked like any other normal couple walking through the theme park...or at least that is how it should have been. 

Not even 5 minutes after entering, 2 magically enhanced park security officers walked up to us and smiled warmly, while still blocking our path.

"Lord Silverscale, Lady Akirina, would you mind accompanying us for a second?" One of the men asked politely. Despite his cordial and confident demeanor, we could both smell the fear radiating off of him.

Aki frowns slightly, but I just smile and nod, leaning down to kiss her forehead quickly to placate her.

We follow the two park security officers through a secret door in the Town Hall set building and into a lavishly decorated room. 

Two late 60s-style plush couches sat across each other in the room, separated by a dark oak coffee table. The walls were painted in a relaxing blue shade and lined with old concept art, designs for the park, and photos from memorable moments in the early years of the park's history. 

"Please take a seat, our master will be with you shortly." One of the security guards said, and I nod as I lead Aki to one of the couches. 

She was still pouting a bit, so I pulled her up on my lap and lavished her with little kisses that made her giggle and push my face away in mock annoyance. 

"Master...Will my being here with you cause problems?" She asks a second later, vulnerability in her tone. 

"Not at all, my dear. Should we need to, I can put an illusion on you that makes you seem taller and older looking." I answer her softly while running my fingers through her silky hair.

She turns to me with a questioning look on her face, for her a slight raise of one eyebrow and a frown. "Why didn't you do that when we first entered then?" She clarifies.

I move in and kiss her soft lips while leaning my forehead against hers and looking deeply into her eyes. "Because you are perfect just the way you are, Aki. I am not embarrassed to be seen with you and I love how fun-sized you are." I finish with another kiss and a wink.

She pouts further, but I can see a slight blush on her cheeks and her eyes getting watery. 

"Quite right." Another voice says as a secret panel of the room slides open. 

Aki and I both look over in surprise as a middle-aged man in a navy blue suit walks through the new opening. His hair is light brown, combed over, and gelled in a 60s classy way, and he has a groomed mustache above his lips. 

My eyes bulge in shock as I see him.

"It is as Lord Silverscale says, Lady Akirina, when I built this park, it was so all people of the world, regardless of age, gender, and ethnicity could enjoy it. That obviously includes height and youthful appearance as well." The man, says with a warm smile and twinkle in his eyes. "Ah, but where are my manners. My name is Walt Disney, and it is an honor to have you two at my park."

"How...?" I ask before I can even think of scanning him. This man was a legend, but shouldn't he have died many years ago?

Suddenly, while still smiling jovially, Mr. Disney's eyes shine with a blue firey light.

"Litch," Aki says simply. 

I blink.

Well, damn, she's right.

"Indeed. Though, I am rather unlike my more savage brethren. I feed off of the happiness and joy my park brings, and I am very protective of it as well as the safety and well-being of all my park's residents." He says as his eyes return to normal. "This is why I brought you two here."

"We had no intention of causing trouble," I say, now feeling a bit more at ease...but holy shit. He was powerful. After scanning him like I should have done when he first entered, I found that he was easily on par with, or maybe even stronger, than me. 

'Did that make him a god as well? I suppose that makes sense after the empire he has built...'

As a Litch, I knew his weaknesses, but that only gave me slightly more of an advantage if things turned ugly. I don't know if I could save Aki before he ripped her soul from her body if we were to fight.

'Yeah...Let's be nice to the man.' I decide with no trouble at all.

Mr. Disney laughs, "Oh, no. I think you misunderstand my intentions. I did not bring you here because I was worried for you, I was worried about the way some of my employees or the guests might act or treat you. I would never want to offend, especially not guests of your caliber. So, in order to make sure you both have the best time possible, I would like to present you with these."

In a flash of blue fire, 2 passes with multiple tabs on each end appear on the table in front of us. A quick scan of them shows that they are enchanted to make others treat us as VIPs at all times. Anyone who sees us will feel we are important and make way for us, not even considering how we look or what we are doing.

"With these, you will not have to wait in lines and food will be free. You will have full access to the suite above the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, as a little gift from me to you. Additionally, 2 of my shadows will be following you, invisibly, to assist you in anything you might want or need."

"Ah...Thank you!" I say honestly, feeling a bit in shock. That was quite the gift in an amusement park as packed as this one was. 

'Plus, I think that suite is booked, like, forever. I hope I don't meet whichever CEO I just stole this room from...'

"It is my pleasure and honor." He bows to us, then pops up quickly and smiles widely as he claps once, "Now, I don't wish to keep you any longer. I hope that you both enjoy your time at my park!"

Mr. Disney then stands, bows, and makes to leave through the hidden door he came in previously, but I call out to him once more.

"Wait! Mr. Disney, there is something you should probably know..."

It may have been a rash decision, but I decided to tell him about what was going to happen in the near future. He had been nothing but respectful and generous to us, and I am not one to ignore goodwill like that. 

Besides, it would be a shame to lose this place to monsters.

After I finish, his smile is gone and a deep frown that shows many years of age and hardship takes its place. 

"I see..." He finally says after a long moment of silence. 

Another minute of silence takes over the room as he looks to the side, obviously thinking hard about something. 

"This city you are building..." He starts hesitantly while looking back over to me, "It will be a mecha for magical kind, will it not?"

"That's the plan. I want a safe place for our kind to wade out the apocalypse about to befall this planet." I answer with a smile.

He nods once more, before bowing even more deeply. "Thank you for giving me this information. Consider me in your debt. I will do anything in my power to repay this favor. I should be able to save this location and a few others...but what is the point if there is no longer anyone to enjoy it...?" Mr. Disney finishes with a sigh.

"Build one or transfer one near Celeborn," Aki suggests as she speaks up for the second time since Mr. Disney entered.

I look down at her with a raised eyebrow and see her cheeks reddening as she avoids eye contact.

'She just wants to go again, doesn't she?'

"An excellent idea! I wouldn't have been so presumptuous as to ask myself, but since you are offering, I will gladly take you up on that!" Mr. Disney says with a wide smile.

Aki stands and places a business card on the table. 

'Oi. When did we go corporate!?!'

"Talk to Riaru Andersen. She is another of Zeneff's wives and is in charge of land management for our city." Aki says confidently. 

"Again, I thank you, Lady Akirina, Lord Silverscale. You have earned a stalwart ally in me. These passes as well as free admission will be available for you and your family at any park from now on. Additionally, if you need my assistance with anything, please don't hesitate to ask." The Litch says with glowing blue eyes, declaring a magical oath. 

'Score! Disneyland, Get!' I think with an internal fist pump...only to see Aki do an actual fist pump next to me...

"But, enough of this business talk. I will take care of the rest with your wives, Lord Silverscale, please enjoy the day at my park! Excuse my quick exit, but there is much to do!" Mr. Disney says with one last bow before rushing out of the room through the same hidden door he entered through.

I look down at Aki with a knowing smile, but, before I can comment, the two guards from earlier open the door we came through. 

"Lord Silverscale, Lady Akirina, we will be your shadows for the day. Should you need us, just ask, otherwise we will remain invisible and allow you to enjoy yourselves."

After saying this, they lead us out of the room and back onto Main Street USA. Aki and I put the VIP badges on and immediately feel the odd glances we were getting move elsewhere.

Aki looks up to me joyfully, for her, a slightly larger smile and wider eyes than usual. "He seemed nice."

I laugh at the absurdity of my new life as I join hands with my lovely dragon wife again and we start our adventure through the park.

The next 14 hours are filled with nonstop fun.

Aki and I run around the park, with no particular goal, enjoying the rides, attractions, and any food that catches our interest. 

We take pictures together, sing the theme music to rides, laugh at the funny ride photos, and, otherwise, have a blast just being with each other. 

There is one small hiccup, however. 

Halfway through the day, we run into a group of magical creatures wearing the same VIP necklaces we had on.

The group consisted of one tall woman with blonde hair and an attractive hourglass figure as well as 12 men surrounding her on all sides, all seemingly vying for her attention. 

I had no plans of interacting with them, happy to continue the fun date we were having, but the woman seemed to have other ideas.

"Oh? Is that Akirina I see? They allow nameless mutts to enter as well, huh?" The woman calls out as we pass.

I freeze in my tracks.

"What did you just say?" I growl out, but before I could turn to confront her, Aki pulled hard on my wrist and showed she wanted to move on and ignore the woman. 

I was going to protest, but the blonde bitch kept running her mouth before I could.

"Hahaha~! You managed to trick some loser into marrying you!?! Come now, I must see who the poor sap is." 

Now it is Aki who freezes. Literally. The air temperature around us drops easily 20 degrees. Her golden eyes glow with anger as magic radiates off of her like a torrential waterfall. 

She turns slowly as the bimbo walks up to us.

"What's this? It looks like I need to teach you some manners again. You dare bare your fangs at your betters, nameless bitch?" The woman sneers as she nears us, but her whole body stops the moment I turn as well.

"Z-Zeneff..." She stutters as she immediately starts shaking uncontrollably and falls to her knees. All the men around her, Drakes from the looks of it, throw themselves to the ground and prostrate themselves before me. 

Not to brag, but I'm kinda a big deal. Being the son of Tiamat makes me dragon royalty, after all. 

I create a magical "Fuck Off - Nothing to see here" bubble around us to stop the onlookers who were about to form a gawking crowd. 

"Who the fuck are you?" I ask, my power plastering her into the ground effortlessly. 

"T-This o-one is k-known as Lellephoa S-Sunscale, My L-Lord." She stammers out with her face pressed into the concrete. 

'God...why are all the dragons named (insert noun)scale. So dumb. Fuck you, author.' I think as I roll my eyes. 

This woman was not mentioned in the story, but it only ran for 12 chapters, so I am not surprised. 

"Great. Now, what problem do you have with my wife?" I demand as I increase the pressure on her more.

Was I being vindictive? Sure. But no one insults my family and gets away with it.

"N-No problem, My Lord, No problem at all!" She practically screams as her body is being crushed to the pavement. 

"That isn't what it sounded like earlier-" I start, ready to squish this wannabe villainess, but I am interrupted as Aki pulls on my sleeve twice.

I look down to see her shaking her head.

"She's not worth your time." She says simply, though her eyes still glow with malice towards the dragon. 

"...Are you sure?" I ask my cute dragon wife. She really does look adorable when mad, but I am smart enough not to say that out loud. 

She nods and looks up to me, her eyes going dim, her magic pulling within herself once more, and giving me a full honest to god smile. I have never seen her smile like that, ever! The look she gives me is one of such love, passion, and devotion that I can't help but listen to her. 

'Ok, that is just not fair. I will never be able to win an argument with her if she looks at me like that...'

I sigh deeply and wave my hand as the pressure on Lelle...Lelen...on what's her face lets up. "Fine. Disappear from my sight. Don't ruin my date any further."

'I need a bath now. I feel like a rich young master from a cultivation novel...'

"Yes! Right away, My Lord!" The blonde draco-bitch squeaks and teleports away with her posse. 

I repair the damage I did to the concrete and wave away the shadows that Mr. Disney sent as they apologize profusely for the interruption to my day. They probably would have stepped in if things looked bad...but I obviously had it under control. 

I feel another tug at my sleeves.

"Ice cream?" My beautiful little dragon asks with sparkling eyes.

"Whatever you'd like," I answer with a wide smile, glad that this didn't seem to affect her at all.

The rest of the day was a blur of happiness and fun.

It all culminated with a candlelight dinner at the Blue Bayou restaurant, and then both of us on the bed of our suite watching the water show Fantasmic! across from our window.

As I hold my naked fiance while we cuddle under the covers watching the show, Aki turns in my arms and rubs her face onto my bare chest. I feel her tremble and shake as wet spots appear on my pectoral muscles.

Pulling away and looking into her crying face, I ask softly, "What's wrong?"

She sniffles and lets out a laugh as the tears refuse to stop. "I'm just...so happy. I never thought I could enjoy myself like this with someone. I never thought I would be more than a nameless, loveless dragon. ...I never thought I would be anything but a child in anyone's eyes. Being with you Master...Being with you Zeneff is the best thing that has ever happened to me..."

She then reaches up and pulls me to her, kissing me more passionately than I have ever felt from the usually emotionless woman.

"Thank you, Zeneff. Thank you for accepting me. Thank you for letting me be a part of your life. I...I love you so much." She finishes as she closes her eyes and nestles into the crook of my neck.

I start to tear up as well as I pull her even closer to me. "Thank you, Aki. You bring such joy to my life. I love every second I spend with you, especially when I get you out of your shell a bit. You will never be alone again. You are nameless no longer, Akirina Silverscale, and I am proud to have you as my wife; As the future mother to my clutch. I love you too."

And as the fireworks explode in the night sky, Aki and I make love and share an intimate moment that neither of us will ever forget.

As for a certain rude dragon...

"My Lady! You must run! She is too powerful, we can't hold her back for long-AAAWK!" The Drake that was just speaking froze in an instant and shattered into thousands of tiny pieces. 

Backed into the corner of her cave, the Western Golden Dragon, Lellephoa Sunscale, stares in horror as a tiny woman, little more than a spec to her enormous size, freezes over her entire lair in a matter of seconds. 

The frost burned like fire and where it touched her once pristine golden scales, only withered black lifeless scales remained. 

"Akirina! Stop this madness! I am the Protector of the West! The Dragon Council will not stand for this-"

"Silence." A cold, emotionless voice commands as it interrupts the massive whimpering dragon. 

"Not only did you insult my mate, but you embarrassed me in front of him. I could have overlooked our past grievances, but not this. There is no place for you in this new world we will build for Zeneff."

"A-Akirina! Please! Stop! Don't do thi-" 

Those were the last words of the ancient golden dragon before her body shattered into diamond dust. 

Aki looked around the lair and collected the treasures held within before smiling down at a small purse Zeneff had bought for her earlier that same day. It was an expensive name-brand purse stylized with Minnie and Mickey Mouse sharing a cartoon-like kiss.

Reaching inside, she pulled out a cellphone and quickly dialed a number.

"Hagi, I have acquired more funds. Should I send it to the usual place?" 

Aki pauses and listens for a moment.

"Understood. I have also secured the connection to the Litch. He should be reaching out shortly."

After another pause, she smiles and nods. "See you soon, sister. I must return to my Zeneff before he wakes. Good luck on your hunt."

Aki turns and leaves the lair of the newly deceased Defender of the West, and as she walks away, she throws a condensed ball of near absolute zero frost into the cavernous cave, teleporting soon after it leaves her hand. 

The ball explodes violently when exposed to the much warmer air and collapses the entire cave complex into a frozen hellscape.

A fitting tomb for someone who once picked on the nameless frost dragon.
