Some of the E rankers were given a pass, making them official E Rank mercenaries. Others had failed. Bonar was one of the failures and looked dejected in the mercenary guild hall. 

"But I finished the mission! I killed most of the goblins and hobgoblins" Bonar insisted

"Well, then where are the ears? You don't get to become an official E Rank mercenary unless you've proven you've killed 3 goblins" Nabil sneered. 

Several other guild members yelled and backed Nabil up. They were all Ariana admirers. 

"I did! Ariana can vouch for me" Bonar said

"Just because she is sweet on you and gives you the kills, doesn't mean you can fool the guild!" Nabil said

"Yeah! Cheater!" another guild member yelled

"But...but" Bonar stammered, frustrated

"Now, you can come back next week. I will be your guide again in the tutorial. But I don't think Ariana will be able to come. She is in the guildmaster's office right now, most likely to be given a A or B ranked mission" he said

Bonar was fuming, but every time he got worked up, he had a physical reaction. 

"What the hell are you looking at? What the hell is that?" Nabil yelled, seeing a huge cock rise up and point at him. 

Bonar realized he was erected for al to see, but he didn't care. He turned around and walked to the guild mission board

"What are you doing? You can't take missions until you finish your tutorial!" Nabil yelled at him

Bonar ripped off several missions and stormed out of the hall

Several guild mercenaries jeered at him as he walked out. 

"What an idiot. He will die in missions he is not qualified to take anyway" Nabil sneered. 

Just then, Ariana walked out of the guildmaster's office together with the guildmaster, both of them smiling and chatting. 

"So where is this Boner?" Guildmaster Archon asked. 

Lothar was a retired knight and was an A ranker, only one of 2 in the guild, together with Ariana and the only other A ranker in town was the chief of the guards Archon. 

"He was just here a while ago..." Ariana said, looking around. 

"Who are you looking for?" Nabil asked, acting helpful to two of the most 

"I'm looking for Bonar" she said

"Oh. That fake. I've already failed him and told him to come again next month. Can you believe the nerve of that guy? He tore off several higher ranked missions and stormed off. He will probably get killed doing them" Nabil laughed. 

"You what?" Ariana asked

"I got rid of that faker. Can you imagine, he claimed that he killed all the goblins in the cave and most of the hobgoblins? He even tried to claim your kills!" he said and the whole guild laughed with him. 

"He did!" Ariana said

"That can't be possible... Don't tell me he's..." Nabil said

"An A class? According to Ariana, he could very well be" Lothar said. 

Ariana ran out of the guild, but Bonar was nowhere in sight.

One week later, Nabil returned with the new group of E rankers from their tutorial. 

"So... how many passed?" Lothar asked Nabil. 

"None" he said. Most of the E rankers looked dejected. But surprisingly for failing, none of them looked worse for wear

"None? The batch is that bad? I thought a few of them looked decent" Lothar asked

"No, it's not that. I couldn't find any goblins. We went to 4 locations where they were spotted, but someone had wiped them all out. Not a single body was found, but there was blood everywhere. Looks like a monster was hunting all the goblins" Nabil said

"Damn. I guess they will have to try again next week" Lothar said. 

Just then, Ariana came into the hall with a team of mercenaries, mostly high ranking B and C rankers. 

"Ariana! How did the orc extermination go?" Lothar asked

"Bad. We couldn't find anything. Not a single orc. The village was completely decimated. Did anyone take the mission before us?" Ariana asked

"No.. nobody is recorded to have taken the mission" the receptionist said, looking at her log book

"Aaaagh" somebody suddenly ran screaming into the hall

"What's going on?" Ariana asked as she tried to calm the man down

"A...a...a ... manticore! It's .....pulling a..... cart into... town!" he said and fainted

"Pulling a cart? What the hell?" Nabil asked

A manticore is a mystical beast, with the head of a bearded man, body of a lion, a tail of a scorpion and wings of a bat. It was supposed to be unconquerable, yet it's pulling a cart??

"Manticore! That's the A Rank mission you were supposed to take right?" Lothar asked Ariana

"I wanted to get more reliable partners before I took up the mission. Minimum 2 A rankers at least. That's why I was so excited to find Bonar" she said

Nabil rolled his eyes. 

Suddenly the hall shook as a loud splat was heard hitting the pillar next to the guild door.

All the members took cover as they overturned the tables to set up as defenses. Lothar and Ariana ran and hid behind the door frames

*BOOM*

Another projectile hit the building and it exploded, part of the projectile broke off and rolled into the hall in a dirty green mess. 

"What is it?" Nabil asked from behind a table

"It's a goblin head" Ariana said

"Are the goblins attacking?" Nabil asked again

*Boom* another goblin exploded right in front of the door and it's body splattered all the way into the hall, smearing the floor with blood. 

"Doesn't look like goblins are attacking. Looks like someone is attacking with goblins" Lothar said

"Bonar!" Ariana suddenly exclaimed

"Boner?" Lothar asked

*Boom* *Boom* *BOOM*

Several more goblins landed on the hall, causing the wooden walls to crack and goblin blood splattered everywhere. 

Just as Ariana wanted to dash out, another few goblins landed in front of the hall, causing her to jump back into the hall. 

"Halt! Stop what you are doing!" a brave knightly sounding voice yelled from outside. 

They looked out and saw it was Archon, the chief of the guards commanding what looked like a man covered in blood, who was standing in front of a manticore which was pulling a cart full of bodies. 

The bloody man ignored the chief guard, spinning a dead goblin in the air and throwing it at the hall. 

The projectiles came at a faster rate as more and more goblins splattered onto the guild hall. 

The guards started attacking the man, but he ignored the, avoiding all their attempts to stop him and threw goblins at a faster rate. 

Archon, the chief guard was busy trying to kill the manticore, which was going wild too. 

But it did not dare go near the bloody man. 

Before long, the goblins stopped flying. 

"Now is our chance!" Lothar said and charged out with all the mercenaries

*BOOM*

A louder sound could be heard, breaking one of the pillars outside the hall

"Aaaagh" the receptionist screamed as Ariana escorted her out of the hall. 

Larger projectiles flew towards them and everyone scattered, abandoning the mercenary hall. 

From the outside, everyone noticed that the heavier projectiles were orc bodies!

More and more walls and pillars broke, and the hall's grand room started tilting. 

"My guild hall!" Lothar mumbled, looking at the hall that needed massive repair. 

An orc body smashed into the other pillar in front of the entrance, causing the roof of the porch to collapse, blocking the entrance. 

Lothar frowned and saw Ariana running towards the bloodied man. 

"Bonar! Stop... this is not right!" she said running towards him. 

She could recognize his body shape anywhere, even if he was covered in blood

Not only was he big and muscular, he had a huge erection as well as he threw a huge object at the hall. 

It smashed through the building and the whole hall collapsed

Bonar saw Ariana and jumped onto the manticore's back

It looked fearful and pitiful as it suddenly quietened down. 

Bonar was merciless and with one movement, snapped the manticore's neck. 

"You... why?" Lothar asked

"To prove I did kill those three goblins! I quit!" he said and stormed off

Both A Rankers Lothar and Archon stared at his back as Ariana ran after him.

"Why didn't you stop him?" Lothar asked

"Stop a man who could snap a manticore's neck in a temper tantrum? I won't risk my life for only property damage.

"Only property damage? My property damage.." Lothar said

"Those bodies should be worth something. The manticore itself should cover it. Let's see what else is on the wagon" Archon said

"Bonar wait!" Ariana yelled after him

"There are more bodies in the ravine nearby. The wagon couldn't fit all of them" he said

"So where is he?" Lothar asked as he saw Ariana 

"He says he's going back to his home to bathe" Ariana said

"These bodies..." Lothar said

"What about them?" Ariana asked

"Besides the manticore, the huge body he threw was a hippogriff. That alone more than covers the rebuilding of the guild" Lothar said with a gleam in his eye

"He said there are more by the ravine. He couldn't bring them all in the wagon" she replied 

"So when will he return?" Lothar asked excitedly. No matter the damage, someone who can do this was easily an A ranker, which their guild needs. 

"He's not. After he cleans up, he says he will leave to explore the world" she replied

"But.. can't you convince him to return?" Lothar said, staring at Nabil and the other guildmembers. They were quiet and stared at the floor. 

"I... I'll try. Maybe give him some time to cool off" she replied

As they searched the valley, in total together with the bodies in the guild hall, they found over 12o goblins, 57 orcs, 23 dire wolves, a dozen harpies, an ent, a troll, a hippogriff, and a manticore.

Their bodies had been brutally mutilated as it looked like he killed them by crushing their bones, or ripping their limbs off. Then Ariana remembered that he had broken his sword in their first mission. 

They also found a stack of papers, all missions he tore from the board, revealing the locations of these creatures!
