Sitting in my command chair I watched as first the Blood Hunter that had killed me appear but followed by three more.

Unlike my Honored Guest who wore a relatively light piece of armor that relied on stealth to be his protection, the other three could be described as Holy Paladins in head to toe plate armor colored in a crimson and the head crest being of an animal I couldn't identify at least from the top of my head.

But the outlier even though he wore the same Paladin looking armor his seemed heavier, and more ornate.

"Whom do I hold the Honor?" I asked breaking the semi-eerie silence.

The Guest pounded his chest with a clenched fist, "This is my Den Leader, he has come for the prize."

"Do you wish to give up your own choice to your leader?" I asked to make sure.

"Yes. I am to low of a rank to be selfish." He affirmed and took a step back, as if entering a shadow that wasn't there.

"So be it." Leveling my gaze at the Den Leader, whom in returned narrowed the two bright eyes and we stared.

We stared for a few seconds then a image hit me. It showed him slaughtering a dozen Templars to prove he could become the Den Leader. With a smirk I recreated what he did and sent my own, this image was far darker. I showed a small force of a hundred soldiers being torn apart by a horde of undead. That day was fun.

As if struck he recoiled and sent another, this time showing a village burning, and I could tell he was a child when this happened. My smile grow and showed his something similar but this time, when I was human.

What I sent? I showed what happens when a spaceship decompresses... though the memory caused tears to form as he saw my crewmen that weren't fast enough choke and die with some of the images showing men and women holding on for dear life just to lose their grips and sucked into the void never to be seen again.

Though for him the images were vague, but I was left to see it in full clarity... death by void is considered the most terrifying and loneliest way to die for any sailor can suffer and it's cost ineffective to give crewmen anything that could prolong their lives or even a way to be found... but that makes sense in a morbid way but still hurts.

At this he recoiled and the connection he had with me seemed to break as I was unable to send more. "I've seen enough, you know what pain and glory is." He spoke his voice old but strong.

"I would not call what I did to the soldiers glorious... I'd call it expediency since I didn't have them before that point and knew they were not equip to fight them."

"They seemed similar to those we saw killing the Home Guard and Templars?" He asked and sent a image, showing undead Enlistees and locals.

"Yes? I didn't know Erika would have used that spell." I answer.

"But I wish to offer my condolence a subordinate saw hers and a woman with a black and white pattern deaths."

"Not needed, they will come back." I replied, "But thank you for telling me. I was wondering where she was since she is always is near me."

A slight pause followed, but with what seemed like a cough for their race. "Well I wish for knowledge."

"That depends on the knowledge. What do you wish to know?" I asked, knowledge one of the most vaguest things to ask for. But I wonder what he wants? Knowledge of spells? Knowledge of the Realm?

"I wish to learn some of your psionic powers." He asked, "I've have seen what your... 'Erika' use and wish to have some of my people learn it."

Interesting... they want to learn some of my magic... I'll have to wait since Erika has far more knowledge of magic. "That depends of what you wish to learn? And are you confirming that you wish to learn Magic?"

"Yes, I want two of my Den Members to learn your 'magic'..." He affirmed his voice clear, strong and unshaking. "But what do you mean depends?"

"Magic is broken up into fields. Elemental Magic, which governs the four elements that make up the universe. Fire, water, wind and earth." Taking a breath. "Then there is Magic that relies on the person."

"What do you mean?"

"Elemental Magic can be learned by anyone. But certain fields are specific to each person. For instance you." I point at the Den Leader, "You have a strange multi affinity. Though they are weak, a jack of all trades and master of none... but unfortunately. Masters of none are useless when facing someone who is a master of a field."

Teleporting the meter between us with my sword drawn and placed against his neck, his guards jump but with a stayed hand stopped them from attack me. Smiling and he nodded, we both glanced down at his fist was less then a inch form my heart and his gauntlet was inactive. Standing up and sheathing my sword, and grasped his forearm. We stared and one firm shake.

"Hahaha!" He roared in laughter.

"Hehehe... now then, I am sorry, my friend. But I have other business. We can walk and talk, and if you want tell me a few candidates for the two disciples you wish me to train."

He both nodded and without another word, we both walked down the hallways. I was genuinely happy to have met a veteran, while he is my foe simply by virtue of me being a Dungeon and those who enter. But we have an ulterior reason to exist... and that reason is that Dungeons are teachers. Well no. Most Dungeons are meant to challenge people and later on in life civilizations, as we are meant to kill the weak and the strong to succeed.

So his proposition to have me teach two locals, and if I teach but if they both die fighting me later then clearly they're weak.

"Well I have several in mind, but these two came to mind when you agreed. Both are considered prodigies in their own righ-"

Cutting him off I point something out, "I will be the judge if they are prodigies, while to your people they are prodigies but if they can't even hold a candle to some of the prodigies that I've seen... then I will no keep training them. Understood?" Making myself clear to him.

"If you say. To us they are some of the best we could recruit, both have shown excellent manipulation of Psi and combat ability that even at such a young age rivals some of my best." The way he spoke made it seem like he doesn't get people this good... maybe they are not a wholly legal group. The fuck am I thinking they are assassins of cause they are illegal.

"Stop hyping them up otherwise I will be more disappointed when they fail to reach what you've described." I caution, "While hyping you own men up against a foe helps you scare or even force the enemy to pull back... you may just incite them to get more men or better men to make up for the gap, which they use to attack. So what have you done? Proven to the enemy that you hype up your forces just to survive and it will also make your allies wonder if they picked the right hill to die on." My words make him pause in his steps as my boots slightly click down the hall.

Stopping briefly and turning to my left at a blank wall. Placing my hand against the wall and with a push a room formed to what I imagined, one was observation room and a door leading to a cell that was pure white metal, checking the cell and after the door closed I couldn't even tell were the window was let alone the door as it fit in seamlessly... snapping my fingers music started playing.

"The bird is the word. Peter Griffin edition." I stated and with another snap it stopped. Even though I've heard louder noises the song left my ears slightly ringing, it wasn't loud enough to hurt but enough to make it impossible to sleep.

Leaving the newly made room and giving a light laugh at the shocked and confused look that my guests were giving me.

"Hehe. Please do not get to shocked, this was nothing. If anything that just shows the difference in power."

"How?" He shockingly asked.

"This?" I gestured at the room I just made, "That's nothing, within my domain I am free to anything. With little to no issue. Now come on." Choosing not to care if he follows I make my way to the Hanger, and the fast foot steps from behind told me they followed. As far is I knew that my Empire Monsters captured someone, but I knew not who it was.
