In an another battlefield

Sakumo keeps dodging the puppets of Chiyo, he also attacks from time to time.

"Shine! Shine! Shine! Shine! Shine!" said Chiyo while continuing her onslaught towards Sakumo

Sakumo just calmly dodge all her attacks and counterattack from time to time but he was in a sense of hurry, since he does not know how long can Haru restrain the Ichibi, so Sakumo keep on attacking while advancing towards Chiyo.

However how can Chiyo not notice this, she is a veteran on her own.

"Looks like you are in a hurry Sakumo" ask Chiyo gloatingly

Sakumo just kept quiet while continuing to advance.

"Hehe worried about that brat? Don't worry you will meet him soon, in the after-world that is" said Chiyo

"I won't be sure about that" said a voice behind her

When she came into it, a sword slash came towards her she reacted quickly but she was still injured a bloody wound could be seen on her right arm and she lost control to five of her puppets.

She held her injured arm and saw who her attacker was. It was a White-haired young boy wearing a mask.

She was surprise to see him not only him even Sakumo was surprise.

"Kakashi what are you doing here" ask Sakumo

"I'm here to help dad, Haru already defeated the Ichibi and its time to end this war" said Kakashi

"WHAT!" shouted Chiyo and Sakumo

"Are you saying the truth" ask Sakumo

"Yup he is on his way to help Jiraiya-sensei" confirmed Kakashi

"Very well" said Sakumo while smiling

But it is not the same with Chiyo, since she can't move her right arm, her total battle prowess was halve. And she needs to fight two opponents that focuses on speed, she was also startled about the defeat of Shukaku. 

'Looks like we lost this war again' she thought.

In the battlefield of Jiraiya

When Jiraiya was going in for the final showdown, Haru quickly appeared before him with Bunpaku bound on his chains. When Jiraiya saw this he was shock, even Rasa is wide-eyed.

"Kid you defeated Shukaku?" ask Jiraiya

"Yes sensei, I already defeated him" said Haru

"HAHAHA well done kid but is he still alive?"

"Yes sensei I healed most of his wounds so that we can still use him as a chip" said Haru

"Well done well done" said Jiraiya

"Jiraiya who is this kid?" ask Shima

"Ahh Ma & Pa he's Haruka Hatake, the one who restrained the Ichibi but he looks like he defeated him" said Jiraiya

"Oh ho looks like the Kitsune clan shows its face again, it's been a long time since they appeared" said Fukasaku

"Nice to meet you two great toad sages." Greeted Haru

"Good kid" said Ma & Pa

"Now let's finish this war" said Jiraiya

"Rasa you're jinchuriki had been captured what are you planning to do?" shouted Jiraiya while Haru brought the jinchuriki's body forward.

When Rasa saw this he was shock, He tried to think if he can bring back their jinchuriki but it looks hopeless, his chakra reserve are depleting on top of that he was severely injured. And he did not know if he can defeat both of them, he look to were Chiyo is, and he saw she was not fairing well either, she was injured while defending two of her attackers.

He sighed and said "Sand Ninja's retreat!"

When the sand ninja's heard this they we're down and their morale was low, they lost 2 wars consecutively, and they also saw that their jinchuriki, their hope to win the war was captured, the quickly help their wounded comrade and retreated.

The konoha Shinobi saw this and they tried to chase after them, Rasa saw this and wield the ordinary sands to block their chasers. He turned to look at Jiraiya and Haru and said 

"This is not the end"

He then help Chiyo and retreated back to their camp.

The Konoha shinobi's cheered and went to help their injured comrades and also cleaned up the battlefield.

"Good work Haru" said Jiraiya

"It's my mission sensei" said Haru

"Well I doubt that, as you can see you failed your mission Haru" said Sakumo he then continued

"Your mission was to restrain the Ichibi not defeat it" 

When Haru heard this he was embarrass and wanted to rebuke but he thought about it and Sakumo was right his job was to restrain and not defeat it.

"But its a good thing atleast, we finish the war earlier and save a lot of ninja's in the process" said Sakumo

"Remember Haru, that although the mission is important, the lives of your friends are more important, so always do the things you felt right." said Sakumo

Haru upon hearing this smiled at Sakumo and said "Yes uncle, I'll do my best"

"You too Kakashi always remember that, since I learned that the hard way and almost died" said Sakumo while laughing

Kakashi nodded at his dad

Sakumo then ordered

"Konoha ninjas return to the camp"

"Hai!" all of them saluted and returned back.

Days passes by

In the sand camp

"Damn those Konoha" said Chiyo angrily, while her right arm are filled with bandages

Rasa kept quiet because he too was recuperating from his injuries. After a while he then said

"Looks like we need to surrender to konoha and try to bargain with them to get back our bijuu and jinchuriki" said Rasa

"What you are just going to surrender to them without revenge?" shouted Chiyo

"Then what are we going to do? I don't want to risk the lives of many Shinobi's just to take revenge against them, although surrendering to Konoha may lead for huge losses to our resources but we can still take it back when the time comes, but the lives of the shinobi's who will die in this war will forever be lost." Said  Rasa angrily

Chiyo thought for a moment and contemplated, it's true that she can't risk the life of the shinobis just for her revenge and weaken the sand entirely, but she was unwilling to surrender, however what can she do. She took a deep breath and said 

"Do as you wish" then she turned around and left

Rasa was about to call an ANBU and wrote his decision but before he could, an ANBU appeared in front of him with a report, when he saw the seal it was from the tsuchikage.

He read the report and sighed.
