I spent all my night for nothing, a big nothing. I did not learn anything about where I am currently or who send me here, neither why I am here.

Voice, or the guideline, it doesn't matter what it's called, gave me lots of information, but when the knowledge that I am after came, I only heard a beep and nothing else.

At least, I learned certain basics, but none of them makes sense. I saw a walking skeleton and goblins.

That was weird, but when magic and things like that got in. My brain cannot understand certain things.

Skeletons who lack a muscle system for movement can magically walk.

I literally have icons and texts floating in front of me. Which is a totally new level of what the fuck?

While the only thing I know is I am a total stranger to the laws of this world, and I should learn how to play with their rules if I want to survive. I cannot stop myself from being curious.

As a mysterious Voice saved my ass yesterday, can I say what gave me these abilities doesn't want me to die, or won't want me to die for now?

"Okay, Voice." I can't lie. I like how it works like a digital assistant and answers me when I call it.

"Where should I start looking to find these bosses you talked about."

"User's current strength is too low for taking down powerful monsters." A screen with a red X on the middle appeared.

The night before, I learned about a system called. "Feats." which allows me to increase my strength based on challenging tasks I accomplish.

I asked for further explanation for these feats, but Voice did not answer.

Some monsters that do not exist in my world are habituating this place. If I guess, there is a connection between the feat and my interactions with monsters.

I got up from the fire and checked my equipment for one last time before. My spear, mace, makeshift wolf pelt bag, waterskins, that's everything.

I don't have much to do, so I will be focusing more on wandering deeper throughout the forest today.

*****
It appears to be I am not encountering anything good today. Two hours of walking and nothing, all night of listening and still nothing!

At least I collected some wild vegetables and herbs if it is correct to console myself with this small amount of things.

To not skip any details, I also encountered my daily annoyance on the way.

It wasn't even carrying anything with it, not even a branch. I only lost my valuable calories by crushing that thing's head.

K"If only it weren't for this damned forest to be so identical!" I shout with anger because I only see trees, trees, and more trees, nothing else!

I kicked a pebble on the ground with anger, it flew towards a bush, and I heard an "Ahqh" sound seconds after it.

"Guess I interrupted someone." I directed my spear towards the bush and began slowly approaching it.

If something angry will jump out and attacks me, I want to have the upper hand and do the first strike.

I kept approaching until the small, ugly, green creature jumped out of the bush with a rusty dagger in its hand. It looked at me for a second and began screaming.

"You must be the creature called goblin." I directed my spear towards the goblin and kept my distance from it. I still don't know if they are hostile or will let me go if I don't make anything.

Goblin began shouting and swinging his weapon towards me. It wasn't moving or anything.

Its style of combat was more like a mad drunk swinging his broken bottle around.

Nothing particularly dangerous if you stay away, but also something you won't want to get hit.

I began thrusting my spears towards the goblin and began moving forward. My advantage on weapon reach is deadly crucial.

Goblin started to scream louder and began running towards me while directing its dagger towards me.

I thrust my spear forward, but the goblin managed to dodge it by jumping sideways. "We are an agile one, huh." I swung my spear sideways and hit its head as he was still in my reach.

The spear's sides are dull, but a good swing from it managed to stun the goblin.

And that shake gives me enough opening to kick that little bastard from the face.

The ugly monster flew away and rolled on the ground as it landed. I rushed towards the goblin before it managed to get up and thrust my spear towards its chest.

It was a quick and effective blow. The tip of the spear pierced through the green flesh like butter.

A small band of goblins (three to be exact if no one is hiding.) jumped out bushes nearby. They carry similar-looking weapons as their comrade.

Can I guess a goblin settlement is nearby? But aside from that, I found more trouble and thinking can be on the second plan for now.

I directed my spear towards the newly appeared goblins. That's why that one was screaming.

I pressed onto the dead goblin's head and pulled my spear out of his chest.

"I was getting bored. At least I can do something entertaining today." I aimed my spear towards the goblin at the middle of the three and threw the spear towards it.

Spears tip split the air into two with a whistle and penetrated the goblin's chest, and pinned the monster's corpse to the ground.

"Who thought joining the athletic club in high school could help me in the future, at least in this way."

The remaining two goblins looked at their dead friend, then turned towards me, began screaming in anger.

Both of them were acting like monkeys more than human-like creatures.

They were hitting the ground with their hands, showing me their teeth, which are slightly bigger than mines, to threaten me.

After some more screaming, they decided to scream was not enough and began running towards me with their weapons ready to attack.

As my second weapon of choice, I picked my mace. While going on a close fight with two creatures at once is not my first preference. Running away is out of the question.

As the first goblin got into the reach of my mace, it began swinging its dagger towards my hands like crazy. There wasn't any pattern in his attacks.

"Like I am stupid enough to fall for that." I turned towards my back and kicked the goblin, who was ready to stab me from the back.

The other goblin was surprised by my move, surprised enough to let its guard down.

With a haste move, I threw my mace towards the goblin.

Mace hit the goblin's face and crushed its teeth. Goblin is knocked away because of the force of the blow.

Quickly I dashed towards the collapsed goblin and stomped his head to finish it.

I heard a crack noise from his skull. It is probably dead or won't be able to move anytime soon.

I turned towards the other goblin, who was lying on the ground. It wasn't moving, but I'd be stupid to believe it's dead only because of a kick.

As I got close to inspect the goblin, its eyes opened. There was a shine inside its pupils.

Before it reached his dagger from the ground, I pinned his hand to the ground by stepping on it.

Goblin tried to bite and scratch my legs, but the creature did not manage to do anything.

"To end your suffering." I grabbed the goblin from the ground and raised it to the air. It still got some spirit to fight.

I slammed the goblin towards a tree's trunk and broke the remaining battle spirit inside it.

I finished the creature's life with its dagger after hitting it towards the tree trunk several times.

"As I killed you guys too, what we got next." I approached the equipment I left on the ground to collect them back.

Shoutings echoed through the forest, and I heard lots of footsteps.

Goblins, at least ten of them, were fastly approaching me. Monsters jumped out of bushes and dark corners of the forest.

"I won't be trying my chances today." I began running away from the goblins, but they were behind me.

Their shoutings and the sound they are making while chasing me adds a little adrenalin into the whole thing.

But it doesn't seem like they will stop chasing after me. I should find something to distract the goblins, but what.

"Snow siren!" I changed my direction towards the snowball dancing in the air. As the siren realized I was coming there, it increased the speed of its snowball.

But I am not going to stop for little playing. I just ran past the siren and kept running.

Siren was shocked a bit as I just ran past it, but as it saw the gang of goblins, it forgot about me.

.I looked to my back to see if goblins stopped, and yes, the siren managed to lock them into itself, and some second after, it jumped at the top of one and began shredding goblins body parts like paper with its teeth.

"Now, that's a sight I want to remove from my memories." I ignored the monsters fighting with each other.

I kept running until I stopped hearing their sounds.

All the running wore me down a lot. I am panting like a dog.

At least I am safe, but this location. I never came here before, didn't I? I neither marked my way over here as well.

"Fuck, I am lost."
