The unusual behavior of the goblins took my interest. Goblins, I know for their aggressive behaviors, suddenly decided to fall back, even though they have the numerical advantage.

Thanks to my new equipment, Spider Gauntlets, I can jump between trees and hang on them with ease, like my primitive ancestors and follow the goblins without the difficulties of the snowy terrain.

This increased mobility is the very thing that gives me enough courage to interfere with the ground of my enemies. By usual standards, moving inside the goblin territory will be a very daring thing and might end up with my death.

I must stop right here. I can see smoke from far. It doesn't appear to be coming from a forest fire but rather from a campfire. I might found goblins camp or one of the camps.

"Closer inspection will give me better results. Forget these small ones." I jumped another tree and began moving towards the smoke.

I got a clear view of the enemy territory from the top of a tree. A screen appeared in front of me seconds later.

[Boss is nearby: Goblin Shaman.]

And I got a warning from Voice as well. "Warning! The User is close to a boss monster. Proper planning before taking any action is highly suggested." Voice alerted me.

It is good to know that, but I will not take any actions before properly checking my surroundings and the enemy territory.

Inside that small area, huts made out of brushwood and clay appear.
Now, I have a clear sight of enemy territory. Buildings are too small for a human to live but suitable for goblin standards. There is also a big one in the center, probably where the shaman lives.

Wooden walls surround the town. It shouldn't be a big problem for me to climb these walls, but I need to be careful.

Looking at the number of buildings, reaching the shaman will be a problem. I need to create chaos to distract them, and I might kill the shaman with an element of surprise.

"It almost feels like the past. When I lead my soldiers into the enemy towns, let's add this delicious nostalgia a bit of chaos flavor." The whole place is flammable. Starting a fire will create enough chaos.

I jumped down and began slowly approaching the small goblin town's walls. I can hear goblin sounds from inside. They are not aware of my existence.

I crouched next to the wall and pulled out my lighter. "Only a tiny bit of gas is remaining but will be enough to fasten the fire's spread." I grabbed a dried bush from the ground.

"That should be enough" I placed the dried bush next to the wooden walls and lit it up. "For extra." I dismantled the top of my lighter and dropped the remaining gas into the small fire.

The fire began spreading at an extreme speed as it connected with a plant on the ground. "Shit!" I whispered. I don't know what that plant is, but it is highly flammable (maybe more than napalm), and why the hell are these morons keeping them near their town?

I began running towards the other side of the walls as goblins started to scream. "Good luck surviving this fire."

I reached the other side of the town after a sprint. "Here goes nothing." I jumped up and grabbed the side of the spiky tips of the walls. "That amount of grip strength is just not fair, heh." I jumped to the other side of the wall.

"Walls are burning, and all goblins appeared to be trying to extinguish it, great." I began slowly moving towards the big hut at the center.

A goblin just appeared in front of me. Goblin dropped the wooden bucket it was carrying and opened his mouth to scream.

"Oh no, you will not do that." I dashed towards the goblin and grabbed him from the throat. I slammed the goblin to the ground and kept pressing towards its throat until my fingers penetrated its flesh and shredded his throat. "Good night." I left the goblin corpse at its place and kept moving towards the hut at the center.

Still, no goblin detected me or the corpse I left, and it appears that the hut at the center has a window big enough for me to get in. "I hope this will be worth all my struggles."

I got inside. Decoration inside is pretty well, with rugs on the floor, a small throne, some shiny dinner set, and jewelry scattered around.

"Warning!" Shaman is waiting inside as well.

A creature wearing a mask is sitting middle of the room. It didn't even react when I got inside. It must be the goblin shaman. It fits the stereotype, with his staff and weird mask.

I pulled my short sword. I will end your life fast and quiet, as all eliminations should be.

I heard a giggle as I almost reached the shaman. It suddenly turned towards me, and a crystal skull at the top of his staff began glowing blue.

"Fuck." I dashed towards the shaman and thrust my sword forward, but before it reached him, a blinding blue light shot out from the crystal skull's mouth and knocked away next to the walls of the huts.

My back hit the walls so hard, I lost my breath and needed some seconds to get back to myself. The shaman began laughing. "I got into its game, fuck." I tried to get up from the ground, but the crystal skull began glowing once again.

I managed to throw myself to the back of the throne for cover. Another ball of light shoots out from the skull's mouth and hits the throne. "It shouldn't need to be this nostalgic! Am I fighting a goblin or trying to survive while the enemy is constantly shooting towards my position."

I launched myself to up using the throne as support and managed to get myself after a second. I directed my sword towards the shaman. "You got me before, and believe me, I will make you regret doing this." I began running towards the goblin shaman

He started laughing and raised his staff to the air. Crystal Skull began glowing once again. "I got my lesson." I rolled forward and dodged the upcoming ball of light.

Goblin shaman began running outside. "I won't let you!" I jumped from its back but only managed to cut a small amount of flesh from its back.

The shaman started to scream as it got outside, and goblins around the town stopped extinguishing the fire and run towards the hut to help their shaman.

I moved after the shaman as it got outside. "Once again, I am finding myself overnumbered by the goblins." I put my short sword away and raised my polehammer. "Different situations require different weapons."

Shaman hit his wand to the ground, and goblins (hobgoblins too) went back to extinguishing the fire, but an enormous green creature took their place.

"Voice, what the hell is that beast." I pointed towards the at least three meters tall goblin alike being.

"Goblin champion is a giant goblin known for his strength matching his orc cousins. The main weakness is it needs to feed with mana or a large amount of food to act. Also, rumors say their stupidity is almost big as the universe itself." Detailed but almost no critical information.

I directed my weapon towards the champion. "One of us will regret its acts today, and I don't want to be that person."

I grabbed a handful of berries and threw it into my mouth. "I feel better now." I dashed towards the goblin champion.
