"What should I name you." I looked at the wyvern sitting in front of me. Minutes ago, I tried to kill this poor creature. I want to blame my behavior on overly aggressive and hostile creatures in the snowy forest.

I grabbed his head. "I must name you, but what?" He is unquestionably a magnificent creature but still young and weak but protective of his ground.

Wyvern moved to a corner and directed his head towards the ground. He opened his mouth and breathed out a mist that covered some parts of the floor with ice. Something impressive but weak.

I know the exact name to give to you. "Fionnlagh, that will be your name." I petted Fionnlagh's head one more time. "Now I am done with you. I can check if the quest is finished or not."

I reached to the giant corpse sitting on the throne. "Second part of the quest. Revive the ancient Dwarven king."

I focused all my mana into my hands then directed it into the corpse. "My mana, it is draining fast." But I can do it.

The ground began shaking. Fionnlagh screeched with horror. "I the Lich King, I order you to get up from your sleep and join to my ranks."

A purple light began emitting outside the corpse's armor. Reviving this corpse cost almost %80 percent of my mana. For comparison, even that big Mud Walker cost only twenty percent of my mana.

I hope this guy is worth the amount I gave.

The giant corpse raised his hand into the air and slammed it to its throne. "You filthy Lich, your kind always had been a trouble for my people, and now you even dared to awaken me from my eternal sleep."

No! That's bad, prisoners might accept me, but I almost forgot the old wars that happened between Liches and four kinds of this world (elves, dwarfs, humans, demihumans.)

Dwarven king got up from his throne and began moving towards me with fury. Fionnlagh charged to the Dwarven king to protect me, but the dwarven king caught him with both hands and slammed the Fionnlagh to a wall.

Now that is a strength that I cannot compete.

With one hope, I shout to the giant corpse. "The Dwarven king! I am here to tell you things about your kind's current situation. Listen to me!"

He turned towards me. "Lies, that's all lies. Do you think that you can play with my mind with your words? Think twice!"

"You are currently overreacting. If you don't stop acting like that, I can never save dwarfs from being slaves of the Empire.!"

Dwarven king ripped his throne from the ground and threw it towards me with all his power.

I dodged the throne, but the throne hit one of the walls and stuck on it, and Bricks called me stupidly strong.

"Your lies are worst than a badly tempered sword! I fought side by side with humans. They will not betray us!"

This guy does not know the current situation and is too stubborn to listen to me.

I can only do one thing then. "If you don't listen to me, then I will make you." I snapped my fingers. "Punish Undead."

Purple flames covered the dwarven king, but that's not enough. With the last drips of my mana. "Control Undead!" I began forcing the giant to subdue.

Dwarven king slowed down, but he still had the will and strength to move. "A Silvertower never subdues, especially to a Lich!" He is in pain. I can feel that in his voice.

Dwarven King is still moving, or he is trying to do with what little strength he still has. I might not be near strong as him, but I am still the Lich King, and my power against the undead is unquestionable.

"When I get my hands on- Cough!" His condition is getting worse at any moment.

I had enough with all his stubbornness, he is barely moving right now, and his vitality bar almost dried up, but the only thing his mind is killing me!

"Then maybe you should see things with your eyes." I stopped using punish undead. "Follow me, Silvertower, and see your kind."

"Do not try to run away, Lich! We will still have a job to finish."

Thankfully he is following me, and I hope he will stop his aggression after seeing what happened to his kind.

----------------------------------------------
At first, Silvertower was chasing me, but he stopped his attitude when he saw the neglected interior of the castle.

"Keep following me. That's is nothing compared to the rest."

We took a tour inside the castle's corridors, cracked walls, spider webs, broken furniture gives a depressive atmosphere to everywhere. It has been a long time since this place saw a glimpse of love.

His anger stopped. I believe he might finally begin thinking and not blindly attacking me.

But there is still one thing he should see. "There is one more thing you should see."

We reached a balconies door. I looked at Silvertowers face. "Come."

He nodded with his head and pushed the door. Light from the giant crystals illuminating the enormous cave dazzled our eyes.
After dazzling wore off, the mighty dwarven city, no, what remains from it is lying in front of us.

Gorgeous stone pillars that were hundreds of meters long, holding the mountain above from collapsing. Now cracked and unmaintained.
Smoke coming out from chimneys of hundred blacksmiths once forged the most renowned weapons of this land is gone.

Dwarven king collapsed to the ground. "My people, where are they, this place what happened to here?"

"I don't know either. Far as I know, humans betrayed the dwarven kind at their worst and slaved all of them."

He was trying to understand everything. I can say he wanted to attack me or call me a liar and act like this city was still alive and well.

But the truth is harsh and cannot be changed by the will all the time.

"Monsters are walking on the roads once children played, corpses are covering the ground that once colorful plants planted. My city, you didn't deserve all of this.". He was furious an hour ago. Now he is crying next to me.

Looking at a beast, who's two and a half meters tall, crying on the ground makes me feel bad.

"Your kind, it isn't all dead." I pat the king from the back. "Now, if you listen to me, I can give you a great offer." I pointed to the forge my group settled.

"At that little forge, there are a group of people, some of them are dwarfs, and one of them saw the times when dwarfs still filled this place, I as their leader staging a coup to gain control over this fortress and the city, but I need more strength to do that."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Both of us got off from Fionnlagh's back. "Good boy, you are strong enough to fly while both of us are on your back." I pat the wyverns head.

Fionnlagh landed near my base of operations after a short flight. "We came to our camp, but before you go in, I want you to remember one thing. If you want your kind to be free, you will obey me. I am your king."

Silvertower wasn't happy to obey a Lich, but he nodded his head as an acceptance.

"Grumps or anyone inside! Open the doors. I brought someone."

"Wait a bit more. I almost got to the door." The giant double door of the forge opened, and the Grumps was waiting behind it. "I thought you at least gave us a clue that you leav- For the love of the!"

Dwarven King moved forward and put his hand on the Grump's shoulder. "I know what you see is hard to believe, my kin, but I can say the same things for the current situation of the dwarfs."

I pat the Fionnlagh's. "It looks like someone stole your show lights." At least I am happy that we have two new and powerful members for our team.
