Frenley's hands tighten around the hilt of his sword. His palms were sweaty with anxiety. He only had three more uses of season bolt and season coating. The only things that do fire damage. Frenley slowly moved closer to Mia. The tall woman looked at the ice woman as she stepped off her ice throne.

“I only got three souls left. If we don't make each of them count, we will lose this fight, and God knows what will happen to us if we can't defeat her.” Frenley said as he wiped the sweat from his palm onto his flowing robes.

“Risa's magic is useless against her.. I will try to hold her and occupy her so you can deliver fire damage.” Mia said, rolling her shoulders.

Risa came close to them, her eyebrows furrowed and her eyes cold and sharp.

“I will get close with you guys and see if I can slow her down with my shadow spell.” The kitsune said, her tails swinging side to side.

The ice woman fully gets off her throne, her ice sword in her hand, as she looks at the group with a bored look on her face. Her ice-cold voice reached their ears.

“Done confessing your sins to each other?”

“Yes, we are,” Frenley said as he pats Mia’s back. The tall woman nodded her head as she rushed toward the ice woman. Risa was a few steps behind her. Frenley nowhere to be seen.

The ice woman slides forward, delivering a devastating attack on Mia. The tall woman clicked her tongue as she placed her feet on the ground and activated the enchantment to make her defense stronger. Her muscles bulge with strength and vitality as she plants her feet on the ground. She stood her ground as the giant ice sword clashed into her shield.

Risa came from behind Mia's left side as she cast her shadow magic. The shadow spears came out of the shadow of the sword, as they shot towards the ice woman's left knee. Piercing the weak armor and holding her in place. The ice woman reached out with her left hand to grab Mia’s shield. But at that second, Frenley appeared behind her.

His sword is enchanted with the magic of the season as he swings with all of his strength at the woman's left knee. The ice woman turned her upper body in a weird, inhuman way, hitting Frenley on the face with her armor right elbow. Frenley felt the ice entering his system, trying to freeze his brain and kill him, the force slowly pushing him away. But his arms didn't stop as his sword sliced through the flesh.

Steam rose as the lower part of the leg fell, the hot wound slowly melting the skin into water. Frenley is sent flying into a nearby wall, crashing on the floor multiple times like a used toy. He felt his moment become slow as the ice magic slowly entered his brain. Adrenaline pushing his thought process, he cuts a large wound on the cheek that was hit.

The fire magic enters his system, warming him up and destroying the poisonous ice. He let the blood flow freely as he rushed the ice woman. He noticed that Mia's shield was freezing over; the ice magic was slowly entering her hand. The ice woman jumped backward with her only leg, as she started to use ice magic to slowly make a new leg.

Mia didn't allow her to do that as she rushed the woman. She blocked the woman's left punch. A punch that pushes even more ice magic into her shield and into her hand. Slowly preading up her arm like snakes. Risa cast her shadows once more. The shadow spears pierce the ice woman's waist, breaking the loose armor. The girl then drank her mana potion.

Frenley appears behind the ice woman's left side. Her hand was still in close proximity to Mia's shield. He cast a season bolt into the shield. This caused a burst of fire and hot steam. The ice woman's left hand was melting, her armor breaking apart. Mia’s shield was free of the frost, her arm and hand warming up and melting the ice magic.

Mia uses this opportunity to deliver a strong hammer blow to the ice woman's waist. Breaking more of her armor and causing her to lean over. Frenley is using the last seconds of his season coating and strike the exposed armpit of the ice woman.

The sword broke through the ice armor. The blade pushed itself through the woman's shoulder blade, her left arm falling to the ground as steam left the wound, and a water puddle began to form beneath them. The Ice woman's face started to crack as she used her ice magic to push all of them away.

A strong wall of ice struck the group, pushing them away from the ice woman. Frenley rolls on the ground as the ice wall stops moving. Risa was far enough to have fully dodged it, while Mia defended herself with her shield. Ice magic started to enter Mia’s and Frenley's bodies.

“We got these girls!”

The man said as he rushed towards the ice wall, drinking a healing potion to push the ice magic away. Mia did the same thing, positioning herself close to the wall and aiming her shield upwards as Frenley jumped onto it. Mia used all of her strength to push Frenley up. At the same time, the man's feet touched the shield. Frenley went over the ice wall, looking at the healing ice woman behind it. Her arm and leg were slowly growing back, her armor fixing itself.

Frenley needs it to do something quick before she fully heals. He raised his left arm as he crashed into the woman. Pushing her onto the ground as ice enters his system at a rapid rate. His heartbeat slowed, his blood coagulated, and his brain started to shut down.

Frenley didn't care as he placed the tip of his sword on the gap in the chest armor and pulled with all of his strength. The sword froze over and broke in half as he did that. But the armor broke free of the ice woman's body. Her naked chest was in front of him.

“STOP AT ONCE SINNE-”

Frenley didn't care for her words as he pushed his hand deep into her chest. His fingers and skin breaking as he punched and broke the ice of her skin. His hand enters her cold, snowy insides as he casts his last spell. Season bolt exploded inside the woman. Her skin became bloated with steam, leaving her body through her orifices.

Water started to pull beneath them, her skin slowly melting away as large chunks of her flesh were now missing. But she was still alive, and Frenley's body was not responding. A win for the ice woman.

If he were alone.

Risa came flying over the ice wall and landed on top of Frenley, pushing him into the ice woman. The ice woman's eyes go wide as her body becomes flat under their combined weight. Her icy eyes fall out of their sockets, and her face and head become a mush of ice and snow.

‘Side boss defeated.’

Never has Alice Southern's voice been sweeter. Frenley could feel his blood sugar rise just hearing her voice after a hard-fought battle. Or it could be chunks of coagulated blood floating through his system and threatening to end his life. He felt so cold, and his focus was slowing so much that he didn't feel hands grabbing his body and pulling him somewhere else.

His eyes slowly froze over, and then all he saw was darkness.

Air enters his lungs as he wakes up. Frenley looked around. He was in the dream world, lying on the ground next to a floating moon shard. He was in the same arena as before, and around him were his two lovers. Who sees him wake up and jump onto him.

Frenley felt their bodies pressed against his as he wrapped his arms around them. The trio shares the soft, warm embrace before giving Frenley space to sit up. Frenley slowly smiled as he looked at the two girls; their confused looks made him smile even more.

“WE FUCKING DID IT!”

His shouts took them by surprise before the girls laughed and joined in.

“HELL YEA!” Risa said as her ears stood at attention with her tails

“SUCK ON MY COCK BITCH!” Mia said, clenching her fist and raising it into the air.

Laughter left their lips as they enjoyed the orgasmic feeling of defeating a boss that had cost them many lives. But Frenley was not done celebrating, as he grabbed Risa with his left arm and pulled her closer. He stole her lips for a second, enjoying the warmth of her skin and the sensation of her lips. His right hand grabs Mia by the wrist, bringing her in and kissing her lips as well. They share an intense kiss, the tall woman biting his lower lip as the kiss breaks.

“I was wondering how the rune of desire affected you. Maybe this is how.” The tall woman said, tracing her fingers up his exposed neck.

Risa lay her head between the nook of his shoulder and neck, enjoying his scent.

“That or is making us desire him even more.” The kitsune said softly.

“That would explain the creampie talk and monster fucking.” Frenley said, like it all made sense.

“Nope.”

“No, mi amor.”

Frenley looked at the girls and just gave up, hugging Mia as well. The trio stays close to each other for a few seconds before breaking the hug. Frenley stood up as he walked towards the corpse of the ice woman. Where what now stood was piles of snow, ice, and water. The girls were behind him as they looked at the remains of their enemy.

Then Ailice sweet voice enters their mind. Frenley is convinced that her voice increased his blood sugar.

‘Fragment of Winter Obtain’

“Well…that is another key item,” Frenley said as he made a small triangle appear in his fingers. The triangle was made of pure, clear ice.

“Huh, I can't summon it.” Risa's words cause Frenley to stop, as he unsummons the fragment. But the moment he did, it appeared on Mia’s hand.

“A unique item?” Mia asked as she made hers disappear, only to reappear on Risa's hand.

“Okay, theory time. When I made my character, I chose the Acolyte of Seasons. My two basic spells were fire and ice magic.” Frenley said, playing with his hair.

“Winter and summer.” The kitsune responded.

“My starting focus was the Effigy of Nature. Its lore is “Cycles of nature are as old as the sun and moon. Primal Forces of a long forgotten kingdom.” It depicts a great tree..” The fey continue speaking.

Mia stayed silent as she watched her two lovers think.

“Cycles, like that of the seasons. Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer.” The kitsune said as she looked at the magic shard in her hand.

“A great tree, maybe even the world tree. Primal forces from a long-forgotten kingdom…” Frenley spoke to himself as he also looked at the magic shard in her hand.

“This is a piece of a puzzle!”

“Huh?” Risa asked as she looked at the excited Fren

“It looks like one of the legs of a star, maybe there are more shards of seasons! When combined, they form something greater,” Frenley explains his thought process to the kitsune.

“But to what end?” Mia's words cause the duo to look at her.

“For something we don't know yet, that truly is the big question,” Frenley said with a soft sigh of defeat.

“More reason to continue exploring, these questions got answers, and we must find them,” Risa said as she looked at the shining moon with a curious eye.
