"Let see here..." - Zekie

I arrive at the destination to where I'll be interviewing in as I step inside to see what this place is doing.

'Oh, this must be like those cafes I read in those novels.' - Zekie

To be honest, I thought cafes like this won't be as profitable considering the students here's income. Yet, after looking through their prices, it does seem affordable and the place has access to a Wifi to which some people who has money would spend time here.

"Welcome to the cafe!" - Employee

"Ah, hello." - Zekie

While surveying the surroundings, I was greeted by the Employee at the shop who was a beauty comparable to Trish and Rose. She had a energetic outlook on her face while not wavering her smile as she began to lead me to a table and began preparing a menu towards me.

"Actually, I came here for the job interview that you guys arw offering." - Zekie

"Oh my. Please excuse me." - Employee

She found it surprising considering that she expected me to be a customer. But then she lead me again but this time towards the counter as I was greeted by a middle-aged man who was staring at me-no, not staring but glaring at me with suspition.

"Look, if your here just to have your way with my daughter by applying a job here, just leave here instead or I might have to use brute means." - Manager

"........" - Zekie

'Ah, he is that kinda person.' - Zekie

After looking at him, I understand that this person is an overprotective father who would protect her daughter from any danger as it can be explained by how serious he was when asking me why I wanna work here.

I don't mind him asking the question as I answer honestly.

"Sir, I came here mainly because the pay here is higher than my current employment as of now. I saw from the job application that your buisiness hours are quite lax and I am currently just enrolled as a freshman." - Zekie

I show my sincerity as he glares at me with even more suspicion as he was mainly basing on my appearance while his daughter was staring at me intently. Hmh? Why is she looking at me like that?

He was still cautious of making me work here as I decided sincerely that I was only after the pay rather than chasing his daughter.

"I really like the pay here sir. I want to continue going to college but due to financial situation, I have to find a job that pays enough to cover for my tuition. While your daughter is a beautiful woman, I am only here due to the offer of a better payment than my current job." - Zekie

"Hmn.... I see..." - Manager

After bowing before him, he was now a bit considerate of my situation as he was thinking for a moment before reaching a conclusion.

"Come back here tomorrow and let me see if you are capable of being hired here." - Manager

"S-sir....thank you very much." - Zekie

I was happy that he gave me a chance as bow to show my appreciation while smiling joyfully that he gave a warm smile before heading back to the kitchen. The woman who was beside me patted me back as she was happy that I was given a chance to work here.

"Actually, I never expected pops to give you a try in working here. He's kinda strict when employing staff to work here you know." - Woman

"Maybe I'm good at being friendly to elders you can say. I am quite charming to my elders." - Zekie

"Wow, such a braggart." - Woman

It might not had made her laugh but she was comfortable with the way I handle my words. Because I didn't expect that I would finished my interview here quite early, I decided to have a conversation with her before I left.

"Quite a peculiar youngster." - Manager

The man who just went out in the kitchen as he brough dishes on the table, look through the door where Zekie walk off as he turns to his daughter who was just gazing at him with a smile.

"You know.... You could had just pass him you know. Given that he actually wasn't gazing me this entire time." - Woman

"Lass, that boy might be considerate, honest and determined but we are running a buisiness. While I do want to help him, I need to prove that he has what it takes to work here." - Manager

"I guess so." - Woman

The woman felt a bit sad since she felt like Zekie is such a good person. He didn't see her other than a fellow person and not as a woman, he was determined to get a job and he even is friendly to talk with. While she had met other guys like him, he mostly sees her to be a future co-worker rather than as a woman to court with. She also felt like he really is a good guy overall and nice to get along with.

'He is also good-looking...' - Woman

"Working as a housekeeper. I might not be as good as Marcus but as for cleaning and stuff, I can still be quite good not messing things up." - Zekie

I slowly made my way to my second destination as I arrived at a luxurious house with a garden and a second storey building. I'm not an expert in architecture but this place is quite good and the owner's taste is great in my opinion.

In front of the gate, I decided to ring the bell and wait till I got response from the owner.

[Hello? Who is this?] - Man

"Hello Sir. I'm here take on the job as a housekeeper." - Zekie

While I was a bit nervous even though the requirements didn't specify what gender you are but I mostly know from some rumours that most houseworkers tend to be female. So I was a bit panicked if I wouldn't be picked due to my gender.

[Hmn....Anyways, just come in.] - Man

The man who heard me just stood there for sometime before letting me inside the place. I was looking at the place where it was quite beautiful to look at but I shook that thought off as I still have to focus on getting the job first.

The pay here is only a bit higher than my last job but it can free up my time to spend on dating Kathie and I can still work at the cafe and have time to work here. It might be tiring to overwork myself but it wouldn't be as tiring as being overworked by my siblings.

As I entered inside, there was a man sitting on a couch while sipping on a cup and watching a sports channel at the same time.

"Ah, while I would expect that men would work here, I didn't expect that a man young as you would work as a housekeeper. Quite Interesting to see." - Man

He gazes me with a slight interest as he wanted to know about me. I just stood there quietly as I waited for hin to stop before introducing myself.

"Hello Sir. My name is Neil Ezekiel D. Rodriguez and I was looking for a part-time job to apply to due to financial situations. There was a Job Offer here to work as a Housekeeper and it didn't specify any gender so I decided to apply here." - Zekie

He wasn't surprised at my introduction as he just stares at me, trying to probe my capabilities as I continue to talk while not hiding my reason for working.

"I am good at doing cleaning, doing the laundry and even cook. Since I lived in a family of 4, I would do the chores around my household due to my siblings working and I am determined to do my best if I am eligible to work here." - Zekie

I didn't even hide my weakness as it surprises the Man in front of me as I gave out my reason for it.

"I wouldn't hide from my employer due to building trust to my customers is a priority to a healthy buisiness cooperation. I am still far green when it comes to running a buisiness but it is always a good option to satisfy your customers or employers to build a trust in them and satisfy any conditions they require while troubleshooting and problems that may arise." - Zekie

"Oho? Thats an excellent speech young man. Despite being young, you do show amazing capabilities in running a buisiness." - Man

"It isn't all amazing sir. I just have a good intuition in the works of buisiness and stuff." - Zekie

It seems that my unnatural way of describing myself to the man had risen my likability towards him as I continue to explain myself from my courses to even my hobbies.

"I now have a good favorable opinion about you young man. I would like to test you as I have one requirement you only need to solve." - Man

"Okay."

He then stood up from his seat as he beckons me to follow him to the stairs as we all went towards a room to which I can smell a ghastly odor imitating from the room. After opening it, I was greeted with such a messy place and inside was a young girl who was just huddling on her bed.

"I want you to take care of her." - Man
