Chapter 23— Eggs Management

"Okay, I'll do my best from now on."

"Qui~"

　When I push my right hand up and say so, Valkyrie responds as if to agree.

　From now on, Familiar eggs will be stably available through transactions with the peddler.

　This is a huge business opportunity.

　In fact, perhaps there is no better way to earn money in a rural farmer’s life.

　This sight looks like a parent bird warming an egg, or a horse feeding its child.

　Five eggs are enshrined under Valkyrie's belly that was lying down.

　While lying on the bed with her legs down, she bent her neck to bring her head closer to the eggs by her stomach.

　After that, she squealed.

"Well, are you willing to grow the eggs, Valkyrie? Can you?"

"Kui!"

　Putting magical power into an egg shouldn't be a problem because I’ve hatched an egg before.

　But I didn't explain that a Familiar Egg needs to have magical power injected into it to Valkyrie.

　Perhaps it means that she understands that the eggs of causative beasts grow by absorbing magical power by nature.

"Huh, that's no good. The eggs of Familiars change their appearance depending on the quality of the magical power they absorb. It doesn't make sense if you haven’t grown up."

TLN: Summary: Valkyrie is not fully grown-up, yet, so her magical power should be inferior in quality to Ars’. A Familiar will grow up with a shape that depends on the Magical Power Injector’s magical power quality. So, if Valkyrie’s magic is of poor quality, then the creature born may not be useful.
