When the weekend comes, Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo came to his (yb) parent’s villa as promised.

While Mrs. Wang busied herself in the garden, Xiao Zhan decided to join and help her.

“I’ll go with you, Ge…” Wang Yibo obviously said like he doesn't want to be left alone with his dad since he finds it so awkward.

Xiao Zhan looked at Chairman Wang who’s seriously reading a certain documents in his hands.

“Bodi, stay and accompany uncle here.” He replied and smiled at him (yb).

Chairman Wang who pretended to be immersed in reading the documents heard what Xiao Zhan said. In his heart, he gives him (xz) two thumbs up for being the sensible one.

Wang Yibo wanted to refute but when he saw Xiao Zhan’s smile hinting him to try and have a talk with his (yb) dad, he nodded.

When they are left alone, Wang Yibo sit opposite to his dad. He pulled out his phone and found some games to play. There was a silence between the two of them until Chairman Wang coughed and decided to talk to him.

“Have you adjusted to your work?” Chairman Wang asked him.

“En.” He uttered.

“Good.”

There was another silence again.

Wang Yibo, “…..”

Chairman Wang, “…..”

They both coughed at the same time trying to ease the awkwardness.

“Try to familiarize everything. Soon, I will arrange you to a lot of workloads. This is to train you so that I can pass down my position to you in the future.” Chairman Wang said.

“Okay.” Wang Yibo gave a short answer acknowledging his father's future plans for him.

Chairman Wang noticed that his son was being obedient so he decided to go all out and said another thing.

“If Xiao Zhan and you have an extra time, visit or accompany your mother and me here in the villa. Or the four of us can go on a vacation together.”

Wang Yibo looked at his father. Chairman Wang also looked at him. There’s another gap before he (yb) answered him (CW).

“W-We will, dad.” Wang Yibo answered and then bowed his head, trying to conceal his emotion.

From “en” to “okay and then these words “we will, dad”, Chairman Wang couldn’t help and smiled brightly. He is very satisfied and commended Xiao Zhan for the changes in his son.

Without them noticing, Xiao Zhan and Mrs. Wang observed them for awhile and laughed secretly.

“Let’s go back to the garden and let them be alone. “ Mrs. Wang said.

Xiao Zhan nodded and stared at his lover for a minute. He knows in his heart that the time will come in the future where Wang Yibo and Chairman Wang will have a long harmonious conversation and whatever the wounds his lover had in the past, it will surely heal along the way.

They spent the whole day in the villa and when they decided to go home, Chairman Wang went to pat Xiao Zhan’s shoulder and said, “Xiao Zhan, welcome to the family.”

Xiao Zhan couldn’t help and be shocked for a moment, then gave his warm smile to Chairman Wang, “T-Thank you, Uncle.”

Never in Xiao Zhan’s mind that he will hear Chairman Wang saying these words to him. For some time now, he told himself to work harder so that he will be accepted by his lover’s father. And the time is finally here.

“If there’s a misunderstanding between you and my son, tell me and I will scold him right away.”

Xiao Zhan laughed and nodded without a thought. Whatever Chairman Wang said to him, he keeps on nodding his head. He is very happy, that’s why.

Days and months gone by so quickly, their everyday lives revolves on reviewing, visiting Xiao Zhan’s grandma, going to the Wang’s Villa, and company.

Today, it's the university's entrance exam and Wang Yibo just like any other parents and families of the examinees also came to support his lover.

The both of them talked to each other before stepping out of the car.

"Ge, jiayou!" Wang Yibo said and then hugged Xiao Zhan. "Just be calm while taking the exam. I know you can do it."

Xiao Zhan nodded and chuckled, "You're the one who's not calm."

Wang Yibo kissed him in the forehead, "I'll wait for you..."

"Okay..."

Wang Yibo waited on his car and received a call from his dad.

"Have you accompany, Xiao Zhan? Yibo, don't leave him there. Examinee should have a support from their love one during the exams." Chairman Wang lectured him.

"Okay, dad." Wang Yibo answered and can't help but chuckled at his father's remark while remembering himself taking the exam alone before.

"After him taking the exam, bring him to eat something delicious okay?"

"I understand, dad."

"Okay... I still need to attend a meeting. Me and your mom will call you guys back again in the evening." Chairman Wang said.

These days, Wang Yibo and his dad's relationship improved. They might not be so close just like any other family, but they can now have a conversation without fighting each other. He can even see that his father favors Xiao Zhan a lot and side his lover more than him.

He waited for Xiao Zhan patiently and when he saw a lot of examinee came out, he immediately looked for him...

And in a distance, he saw Xiao Zhan also looking for him and he smiled while walking towards his lover...

"How was it?" Wang Yibo dotingly asked him.

Xiao Zhan hold his hand and smiled. Almost all of the things they reviewed together before were in the test papers, "It was okay."

Wang Yibo touched his hair and said, "Let's go eat something delicious, Ge."

"En." Xiao Zhan nodded.
