Lucy's POV

After two years... I am back to the Heart Forge... But I have been hearing weird rumors ever since I landed back at Zarcara. They have been saying about a new band that revolutionizes music... or something. Did Petrasha went and developed recording facilities? Well, it's Petrasha, I don't see why she couldn't develop that, but I don't think it's recording, since I don't see any copies of the songs anywhere, so could it be live stage or concerts? Even then to make a concert you would need to develop microphones and loudspeakers... but to be able to spread even to the port of Filkreat... it must be pretty influential or maybe not since it could also be the first concert within the entire world. Who knows, let's just ask Petrasha, she would know.

" Lady Lucy, welcome back, it's been a long time isn't it." the guards said to me, strange, it been two years and it's still the same two guards?

" Are you both the only guards on duty?" I asked them.

" Nah, both of us take the day shift, we got other guards taking night shifts, everyone needs a break, after all, we are not silicoids or necroids. We still need to rest right?" one of the guards said while nudging the other one.

" That's true, speaking of which, Miss Lucy, you sure are lucky to have such nice friends." the other guard said. Hrmm? What does he mean by nice friends, could it be that another one of us reached here already?

" Oi, didn't she said we should keep it a secret from her?" the guard says while the other one made an oopsie face... Petrasha... you got a lot of explanations to do.

" Well can I go in now? I have quite the emergency issues to discuss with Lord Petrasha," I said to the guards with a hint of annoyance. 

" Sure come in, Heart Forge welcomes you back Lady Lucy," the guards say as they open the door to allow me entry.

Walking through the tunnel makes me think more about the rumors. It is definite that either Petrasha or Christine had done something, or someone else has reached here. But the problem is what did they do. If it's Petrasha I could only imagine her developing some sort of equipment that made concert possible. If it's Christine... I don't think she is capable of anything. She could sing but it is not that good compared to back on Earth. At least the songs that she sang during her bathtime are downright noise pollution. Well, it could have changed since it's been one and a half years, she might get used to her own voice after all... I wouldn't bet on it. If it's Adeline who came early, then it's definitely an idol group. I cant see Adeline being unable to be an idol like the HoloSanji back on Earth. Well, I would say some of their members looks more like comedians than idols though. But if it's Adeline it's definitely possible if it's idols. Marco hrmm, I don't think he would be at the main, he likes drums but his singing is just mediocre, not that I'm anywhere better than him but I can't see him being in the lead role in a band. And for Beno huh... I would say piano but er... I wouldn't count on it. He is better at being the entertainer part of the HoloSanji group than the idol part.

After a short run, I reached Petrasha's manor, I slammed opened the door and yelled, " OI PETRASHA! YOU BETTER EXPLAIN THIS!" 

The maids came out and welcomed me but I don't see Petrasha, I guess she is at work then, but I better ask for confirmation.

" Where is Petrasha, is she going out to work?" I asked the maids.

" Lord Petrasha is currently out handling the mess that Lord Paelisher and Lady Christine created." the maids said while helping me to get out my armor. Tsk... so Christine is related to these things after all.

" No need to cook my food, I'm going out to find Petrasha. Where is she now?" I yelled towards the maids. 

" She is at the west plaza now..." one of the maids said. Good, that's nearer to where Petrasha's Manor is.

After I reached the west plaza, what I saw can be described with one word - dreadful.

People lying on the ground like corpses. They aren't dead... but they look as if they suffered quite a lot of mental injury... and also hearing injury.

Away from the sea of corpses is a stage that is clearly an imitation of a concert stage from the ones on Earth. On top of it is Petrasha scolding Lord Paelisher and also Christine. I immediately rushed towards that place while at the same time avoid stepping on any of the fake corpses on the ground.

" That is why I told you to make sure Christine isn't the one that is singing! Just literally give her any other job other than singing! Isn't she doing a good job at being the lead dancer of the group so far? Why the hell did you change it at the last minute!" I heard Petrasha yelling at both Lord Paelisher and Christine... which explains why both of them are in seiza. 

" Petrasha, explained what happened here..." I said towards Petrasha, it seems she is so concentrated on scolding them... she didn't even notice I was coming here... of course, that includes the two in seiza...

" Ah... NEE-SAN!!" she yelled while she jumped into my arms... and I caught her properly of course, no one is falling down today except the two in seiza.

" There, there, these can wait, now what did Lord Paelisher did that made you scold him too," I asked Petrasha. Scolding Christine is one thing, but with Lord Paelisher too, it's quite rare.

" You see Lucy-nee... around a month after our call in Yskrasidria, Christine suddenly came out as a band along with some people of other races... Lucy along with one succubus and a male wolfkin became the main dancer of a band they created... The main singer is a female dwarf... everything was actually going quite well with their concerts within the continent... but when Christine heard you are coming back, she also wanted to come back and give you a big surprise... It's just I don't know how and why Lord Paelisher allowed her to be the main singer of one of the songs... and this happened. Most of the listeners have serious eardrum damage and even the band members suffered. But thanks to my skill we are able to heal all of them, though they are still unconscious that is... which is why I use this time where they were unconscious and scold the both of them together."... I have no comments, the only thing I could do is to stare the both of them.

" You know, Lord Paelisher is kinda too young for this Petrasha... if he continues in this position it might be bad for his body, why not let him go for a while. I'll help him," I said towards Petrasha while giving her an evil smile.

" I see... OK then, I'm sorry Lord Paelisher for making you suffer in that position for so long... Please let Christine assist you to rest for a while." Petrasha said, also giving me a very evil smile.

I helped Lord Paelisher to sit on a chair nearby, giving him the warmest smile I could make and went back to Christine and Petrasha.

" Now... why are you suddenly so interested in idols Christine..." I asked her.

" Eh... Idols don't exist here... so if I became an idol it would be a big hit right?" Christine said nervously. Yes, that is correct, and you have been doing it quite well even according to Petrasha.

" Why the sudden role change from the main dancer to the main singer..." I asked.

" I thought after training for 2 years I would be better..." Christine said. The problem here isn't training... it is that you really aren't suited for it... Your control over your volume is dreadful and you are too prone to go to a very insanely high pitch. Though back on earth it's insanely low pitch...

" Christine... it is not that you aren't good at singing, but you are too prone to go off pitch... even after the training, I bet that you have gone off pitch a lot of times that it caused this wave of corpse... So if you really want to sing, you need to pass both me and Petrasha's standards... ok?" I said while comforting Christine.

" Wait wait, what do you mean passing our standards. I didn't agree with this! I don't want to listen to her screech anymore!" Petrasha said while objecting with her entire body.

" Of course before asking us to approve, she would need proper voice training. One that isn't from a member of dwarves or elves. I believe the sirens would be a good teacher for her. If even the teacher doesn't approve, there's no way we would right?" I said to Petrasha.

" Well if it's after passing a teacher's guidance it's ok I guess... You heard that Christine???" Petrasha said dejectedly to me and continued her sentence towards Christine fiercely.

" So does that mean if I could pass the singing test I could finally sing?" Christine asked... girl... it's better if you focus on what you can you know...

" Though we truly recommend you continue your path on being a dancer... your worth is there... you know... it is not that we don't want you to sing, but your dance is really mesmerizing that we hope that you continue dancing instead of singing," Petrasha added. I don't know how good Christine is in dancing but if it could even convince Petrasha who doesn't even like to watch other dancing, it should be pretty damn awesome...

" Fine... I will continue dancing and stop singing for a while... But you still have to give me that personal voice trainer ok?" Christine said while pouting... Since when you have the power to argue with us girl...

" Petry..." I called out to Petrasha in a low voice,

" Yes? Nee-san" she replied also in a low voice.

" Voice Changer or Auto-Tune, ASAP," I said.

" Roger that..." she replied while making a face like her life will depend on it.

" Oi what are you guys talking about, add me in!" Christine said while standing up.

" No! Continue your seiza," me and Petrasha said at the same time.

" Remember that you still need to apologize for every single one here that fainted. Until then, continue in seiza." Petrasha said.

" And no buts, we will not let you go on this one," I added. This damage caused is too insane. We need to make sure that regret this.

And it is from this day... a new torture method for interrogation is to listen to Christine's raw unmodified singing voice, and it is through this moment, the dwarves developed even better ear mufflers.

I don't know what to add here so yeah! Thanks for reading. The idea of this chapter is that I want to make Christine useful, but not in a very useful way, but still useful in some place regardless.
