Astrea's POV

Urgh, this turns out to be a big mess... and I cannot even stay next to Kur and fix the girl's memories either! I have work to do and can't just stay here with Kur... but judging by the mess at the corner of the room... I can feel that it is a very torturing moment for him... Well, that's what you get for wanting to leave me~

" Well, at the very least you did the job right? The bad memories are gone right?" I asked Kur.

" The 20 years yeah... it's just some of her memories after the initial 20 years are bad too... I'm tempting to remove them for her too... but it would cause trouble right?" Kur said. Well, I am not so sure... mostly what I did is just wipe out all memories before reincarnating them, or just let them have their old memories. I don't think I ever altered memories before... oh well if it's risky, don't do it then.

" So that means you finished it already right? Then just put the soul back to the body and let's just get this over with... I'm tired after all those seeing all those stuff..." I said to Kur with a lazy voice.

" While I'm here facing the full front of it... I guess I can see why you want to quickly upgrade from being a reincarnation god to a realm administrator. Being a reincarnation god can be really tiring..." Kur said. Now that you know the pain of being one, how about you give up and stay with me~ working under me is better than working under those old tards!

" Since it's almost a day already, you wanna go check the reactions of her friends when they finally united again?" Kur asked. Hmmm, that is a good idea, looking them happy after a long day of work would be pretty rewarding.

" Yeah, let's ~," I said as I took out an observation panel and start looking at how the girl is doing with her friends.

" Nothing could go wrong with just looking at them right?" I said, unknowingly that I have raised a so-called 'flag' by the Earth residents.

1st Sukurach of Juriel Year 1237

Lucy's POV

We have been on the sea for almost a month now... I really think we should go back earlier, but Petrasha said she wants to do some experiments to see if she could make something that can let normal people (except the humans) to be able to like on the manaless continents. While I think that is a good thing to do... I don't think this is the time to do that, seeing as it is better that we get Bell to a safe place first.

I walked out of my room and went to the deck while thinking about the events that happened during the past month. Her nightmares... are extremely unpleasant... even if you are just listening to parts of it. But one thing for sure, Bell seems to think that our death in our past life is all because of her... and even in this world, she somehow thought that she also killed us, which is strange as the first day we reunited, she seems to be anticipating us, which shouldn't be normal if you thought they are dead... there are too many weird points in her nightmares that I don't really want to think about it anymore...

" Hey, Lucy, I thought you would be looking after Bell?" Petrasha asks.

" You know, I think we should be going back... we are almost out of vegetables, and the ones that Bell had left are potatoes. Even though she isn't waking up, I think it is best that we at least head to the demon continent and resupply. I am a bit tired of fish and I definitely ain't going to touch Bell's meat stock." I said to Petrasha. She then stops her work and starts thinking.

" Lucy~ help me~," May said while she was walking to us in a very carefree manner. Doesn't look like you need any help.

" What? Is it that Kent kid again?" Petrasha said which May nods. Alright, Petrasha got distracted... great...

" He is too annoying... it's like he wants to flirt with me, but doesn't have the capability to... all he does is just saying plain compliments such as 'You are beautiful today', 'the weather is great today', or dumb pickup lines... it's annoying... very annoying... purely annoying... just why did we have to save that guy..." May yelled while she went to hug Petrasha... you really like to use her as a hug pillow huh, but you better let go... I can see steam from Petrasha's head...

" I know it's midday, but could you not act like that May," this time it's Amy who is coming in and started to separate May from Petry. Good, I don't have to do the dirty job this time.

" By the way, Christine went back and snuggle with Bell's tail... you might want to go and get her out of there." Oh... fudge... not again...

" AAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!" we heard a loud scream, which we knew its Bell, but this time rather than fear, it sounds like she is in pain!

" Just what did you done Christine! Damn it!" I yelled as we all rushed towards Bell's room.

As we ran into the room, what we saw is a scared Christine and Bell who is now screaming in pain as her body grows, at least that is what I think is happening, seeing as her horns, wings, and tails are all getting bigger. Her old scales are peeling off and new ones are growing in... repeatedly... this time, unfortunately... it seems that Bell is back to us... cause I can see her writhing in pain and keep crying... she is even asking us for help, but... I don't know how should I even help... the only thing we could do... is looking at Bell as she cried in pain...

Astrea's POV

" Mind telling me... what is going on with the girl?" I asked Kur... the girl is now crying in pain... did we messed up something?

" I don't know... I just followed the guide and just put her soul in like that..." Kur said... damn it! It should have been a heartwarming reunion moment! Not a harrowing moment like this! The girl feels like she is going to die due to pain! Well, it is still warming that her friends are there to comfort her... even though she probably is too occupied by the pain that she doesn't realize her friends are helping her...

At this time, someone came into my realm.

" Yo, Astrea, I brought you some Terra delicacies~," Terra said as he came into my realm without even telling me... but this is a good timing for him to come.

After a few minutes of explaining the situation...

" Well, of course that would happen. If the previous body is using the form of a degraded soul, you would need to slowly insert the fixed soul to let the body adapt, and by adapt I mean letting the body slowly grow to the soul's full form. Forcing it like that would definitely cause pain as the body is rapidly growing. Even in my realm, there are a few cases like this, and the soul mostly just died before even able to recover. Of course, I am not the one doing it, they tried to alter the soul themselves so not my fault~ Anyways, where do I put this ~ I even got some of the blackberry parfaits that you like the most~" Terra says as he continues to hold the stuff that he brought for me. You know... you can put it within your sub-realm you know... there is no need to carry like that... but thanks for the info...

" So what can we do now? I don't really want the girl to die after we all tried to save her..." I asked.

" Nothing, he is a tough guy back on Terra. I am sure he can handle it fine~ Make sure don't do it next time~ sometimes souls directly shatters when this happens. Don't worry about punishment~ this happens a lot in other realms~ some of the reincarnation gods also make this mistake, if I didn't remember wrong, there's a recent god called B that made a big mess~ I wonder what happened~" Terra said that as he placed the bags onto the table in my garden.

" Didn't know you are the type to read the R.R. (Reincarnation Realm) bulletin. I thought you only read things about other realms. I thought you don't care about them." I said to him while I store my observation panel... I am sorry, girl, sorry that you had to endure this pain... I promise there won't be a second time...

" Oh also, by 'deleting memory' I hope you mean you are just erasing the memories and not erasing the memory holder, she might only have 2 years in your realm, but she is still 22. You don't want her to degrade back to a two-year-old kid. Plus I heard this is a rebuilt soul right? Then you better make sure that she would have the personality of a 22-year-old girl, not a 2 year old one. Alright, I delivered my stuff, gonna head towards Siria's realm next, she promised that she would be giving me nice old Praes Wine. I haven't drunk that in like 10 cycles already~ Bye Astrea~ Have fun with the parfaits~" Terra said as he left... he left as fast as he came... also...

" He hit the point... I directly erased the entire thing including the holder..." Kur said... well... time to write a message~~~

May's POV

Just how long is she screaming... I think it's almost an hour or two already... she just went unconscious halfway through though... and wake up minutes after... She is currently just staying there unconscious... I believe that the growth spurt has stopped. Thank god... or should it be Astrea? Since the people in this world worship Astrea...

" ... girls... I have something to say..." Lucy suddenly said with a serious face... this can't be good.

" You see... apparently... the 'God' messed up with Bell's soul... because of the soul damage... she won't have full memories of her past life on Terra... which I assume is Earth. She would have most of it, but there would be stuff that she might not remember..." Lucy said.

" Well, as long as she remembers us, that is good right? I mean, that's the main point of fixing her soul right? So she can remember us?" Christine said, while I do agree it is one of the goals, I believe it is not the main one...

" That is not all. Due to someone else manipulating her soul and fed her a lot of false memories... some of her original memories are lost... causing her to sometimes said something wrong, so please forgive her, it's not her fault..." this is starting to be a bit worrying... does that mean the nightmares that she had for the past month... is because of this soul manipulation?

" So... that's the reason for all the nightmares right?" Amy asked, thank you for saying my voice out Amy, you're the best.

" I believe so... I wish I could punch that guy for doing this... anyways... there is still more. Though there might be a slightly bigger problem for the girl... we er... accidentally removed her 20 years of memory in the world of Astrea... and by memory, I mean even her mental age... so while she might have the knowledge and memory of more than 20 years combined... her mental age would be at 2... Bell would act like a 2-year-old kid now???" Lucy read it and said... so we got a huge baby now?

" That sounds bad... I'm not going to be used to acting near a kid that was acting very mature for the past few months... especially when killing..." Flux said. While I can't share the same feeling like you... it does feel weird.

" While also worth the note, because that this is a new soul, her personality might have changed according to her life in Astrea... so please don't weird out when she doesn't act like she is back on Terra. Though it might also be the doings of the mental age regression... but do take care of her. She is probably the first being to be followed by more than one God after all. Good luck~ your most beautiful goddess Astrea which is also feeling a bit guilty... and that is what is written... I had to mentally edit parts of it to not let it sound too cheezy..." Lucy said. Erm... what???

" So... she is the Bell we know... while at the same time is not the Bell we know? What kind of loop are we in..." I said which a lot of us agreed...

" Well, at least this gives us a bit of mental preparation of what Bell would act like... we would have to wait until she wakes up for the real deal... I hope she doesn't really act like a little kid... while I like kids... I don't think I could handle it if said kid is one of my close friends..." Amy said. This is a bit hard to swallow... but we had to...

" Look she is waking up!" Christine said. 

" Urgh... I feel bad... where am I... huh? Why is everyone here?" Bell said. Good, she doesn't seem to act like a baby... yet. That is a good sign! I hope!

" So... you hungry? You have been out for a month after all..." Amy said in a very awkward voice... why now... why are Flux and Frux heading out?

" Hrmm, I do feel hungry... well I guess I will just eat the meat I have in my storage..." hrmm? The meat in her storage... wait... is that? Shit... there we go...

" Nothing is as refreshing as eating fresh dragon meat! You guys want some?" Bell asked... I guess... she is broken in some ways... and I don't think I will like it... Astrea... why..

Does it seem Bell is back? I think? Can this still be considered as the original her if the personality changed? Well, it's not like there is much difference from before right? 

Sorry for the late chapters... work really took a lot of my time... and as I said, this will continue for the rest of the week... but I will try my best to write out chapters. Though the quality might be a bit lower since the only time I can write is during the night... and I mean past midnight...
