"Urgh." Ethan opened his eyes and groaned with a little discomfort.

'Uh? What happened? Ah, that's right, I died ... 'Ethan thought as he looked around, he was lying on a soft bed and a simple wooden room, but neat and very beautiful.

"Where am I?" Asked Ethan feeling a little confused, from what he remembered, he had been stabbed in the heart and after that he saw nothing else.

"Why, it looks like you woke up Ethan." Ethan turned in the direction the voice came from and saw a beautiful woman with long curly blond hair and emerald eyes, she was dressed like a fairy who never got contaminated with mundane things, her white dress with green details made her look like a true Goddess.

"Who are you?" Asked Ethan as he still looked at the beautiful woman in front of him.

"Hehe, I'm the last guardian of the Ethan universe, but I bet you don't know what that means." Said the blonde with a gentle smile and a very proud tone.

Ethan was a little stunned when he saw the blonde's smile, but soon nodded in agreement, he had no idea what she was talking about.

'I think she played too much?' He thought as he looked at the blonde with pity.

"Humph, do you think I'm crazy?" Said the blonde puffing out her cheeks trying to look angry.

But it just made her look very cute, making Ethan's eyes shine.

"N-no, of course not!" He immediately denied shaking his head.

"Uh, I know ..." She says, giving Ethan a suspicious look.

Ethan looked away trying to avoid eye contact and with beads of sweat on his forehead, he looked nothing like the Swordsman who would panic his enemies just by having his name mentioned.

 *Cough*

"I really don't think you're crazy, there's no way a fairy like you freaking out to the point that you think you're a guardian of the world or som-" He tried to apologize again but then stopped in mid-sentence when the blonde started to glance killer as if you wanted him to die right there.

Ethan swallowed hard as he thought. 'It's over, if I didn't die stabbed I will die at the hands of this fairy.'

"Humph, forget it, when I'm done explaining, you'll understand." Ethan nodded quickly like a hen pecking at the floor.

The blonde looked at Ethan and spoke. "First give everything, you died."

'Yes, now I'm sure she is crazy.'

 * Tap *

The blonde couldn't take the pitying look Ethan was doing any longer and slapped her across the face.

"I'M NOT CRAZY!" She screamed, as if she were a child trying to prove to her parents that she didn't screw up.

"Oh, that hurt!" Ethan grunted as he massaged the cheek that was slapped by the blonde.

"Y-I'm sorry, it's just that you don't believe me and-then-" The blonde looked scared, she was on the verge of tears, Ethan quickly stood up and stroked her head as he spoke. "Okay, okay, it's okay, now keep telling your fantas-, I mean, what were you talking about, hehe ..."

The blonde closed her eyes while enjoying the affection she was receiving from Ethan.

"Looks like you like pats huh," said Ethan playfully.

"Mm." She didn't seem to care about Ethan's joke and just nodded, she looked like a needy child who wanted her parents' attention.

Ethan withdrew his hand and saying. "Uh? So ... were you saying ...?"

The blonde grunted at the loss of affection but stopped herself.

"Yes, I said that you died."

She looked closely at Ethan's expression, but saw that this time he was listening intently, well, he was trying.

Seeing that he didn't seem to want to make fun of what he was saying, the blonde continued. "You were murdered in your apartment on Earth, any questions?"

Ethan clearly remembered that he was stabbed in the chest, which certainly killed him as he pierced his heart.

"Yes, since I died, how am I here now and also, who are you exactly?"

"Well, your physical body died, your soul would have dissipated a while later, but I brought you here, and as I already told you, I am the Last Guardian of the Universe."

'Yes, now everything makes sense, NO! Of course it doesn't make sense! Soul? Guardian of the Galaxies? No, I think it's Universe aaaahhh! ' Ethan debated with himself in his mind.

"I know it sounds very confusing, but believe me, it's true, and I brought you here for a purpose." The blonde spoke seriously, she was afraid Ethan would think it was all a joke.

Ethan was starting to go crazy with this whole story, he was starting to think he was in a coma and he was dreaming all that is going on.

"What purpose?" Asked Ethan as he sat on the edge of the bed again, he had a horrible headache while trying to assimilate what was going on.

"Simple, I want you to save the Origin world." Strangely, the blonde spoke so seriously that Ethan couldn't think of anything other than asking her to explain herself better.

"Ethan, my existence is coming to an end, The Guardians that you humans call Gods have died, I was the only one left, but unfortunately I'm also dying ..." The blonde spoke in a sad tone that made Ethan feel like to hug and comfort the blonde in front of you.

"I want you to save the world of Origin and also your world called Earth." The blonde spoke once more about the purpose of Ethan still being 'alive'.

Ethan looked at the blonde with confusion in his eyes, he didn't know what to do in this situation.

"How am I going to do this?" Asked Ethan, breaking the silence that had formed in the room.

The blonde smiled brightly at Ethan's question.

"I will use the rest of my power to make time go back to when the Origin World was opened to Earth humans, I will leave your memories intact for you to fulfill your goal."

'Is this like those Earth anime?' Ethan looked at the blonde in shock.

"It is possible?" Finally taking courage, he asked the question that haunted him.

The blonde nodded. "As I am the last Guardian it is possible, if there were still other guardians I could not do that, it would be impossible."

"I understand, but what exactly will I have to do to save the world-" Ethan looked at the blonde with shaking eyes and got up from the bed as he stammered.

"H-wait, y-did you say Origin ... Origin is not just a game?"

The blonde smiled and said. "Yes, Origin is not a game, it is a real world, you cannot physically enter there, a part of your souls enter there. Oh and I was the one who created the 'game' for you to enter hehe." The blonde even laughed at the end as she remembered how humans thought of Origin as a simple game.

"Y-Are you p-teacher Z?" Ethan pointed at the blonde with shaking hands, this was all too shocking, he didn't want to believe it, but the blonde was speaking in such a natural way that he couldn't detect any sign of lying in her.

"Uh, more or less, the teacher is just a person that I used to launch the game for you. My goal was to help you develop the Earth, but few have achieved what I wanted." The blonde reported with a sigh at the end.

Ethan sat down again while analyzing everything she was saying.

He started to think about everything that was going on, his head was in a huge mess, the blonde waited patiently for Ethan, she has lived thousands of years, a few minutes was nothing for her.

After a few minutes Ethan said, his eyes shining with determination. "Okay, if you want to give me a second chance ... why not?"

The blonde smiled, but this time her smile was neither gentle nor sweet, it was malicious.

She walked over to stand in front of Ethan and pushed him onto the bed, whispering in her ear. "You know that there is no free lunch ... don't you?"

Then she bit Ethan's earlobe causing a moan to come out of her mouth.
