On the next day, Ling Xia shuts himself inside the refining workshop all day. He refined and cultivated till night fall without allowing Yu Zhi Jue to meet him. His physique is much better now and the medicine’s effectiveness is top notch so he was more or less fully recovered. However, Ling Xia thought that the demon king’s yandere tendencies is getting worse every passing day, so its a must to address it as soon as possible.

Speaking of this yandere of a demon king, Ling Xia felt that he was dating two guys at the same time, making him think that he was losing his morals!

At first, Yu Zhi Jue restrained himself from touching Ling Xia to earn his forgiveness. He merely hugged Ling Xia during their sleep. On the third day, his face was filled with frustration from being deprived of sex!

He grope and rub against Ling Xia while hugging him, pulling down his collar to reveal his collarbone and a bit of his pecs, while his pair of gleaming pheonix eyes wanders around coquettishly. His long slender legs enticingly reaching for Ling Xia’s body, with an invitation seemingly written on his face “I’m very tasty, come and eat me~ please~”

Ling Xia swallowed his saliva, he just don’t want to surrender more of his integrity. Yet in the end, he was pushed down half willing half unwilling.

The next day, he slept continuously and only woke up after three days, while the great demon king handled his work with a glowing, invigorated complexion. Ling Xia slammed his fist on the bed in irritation the moment he saw the red and purple marks scattered in his body. Yu Zhi Jue should just change his name, a man with a pile driver meat, powered with a small motor! And to think that there was even a time when he sees that kid as innocent and adorable….

His body was already cleaned up, but he felt that there was still a vague dull pain remaining. Ling Xia couldn’t move comfortably for a while as he took Da Bai with him to go for a stroll in the market down the mountains.

He don’t know why, but Ling Xia thought that Da Bai seemed different these past few days. The most obvious change is that its eyes no longer droop dispiritedly like it used to do. To be exact, its like Da Bai turned into a different breed of bird. Every day, its eyes widen in attention as if to catch a thief on run, its wings oftenly spreads wide and was basks under the sunlight, staying like that without moving for a long while.

Ling Xia started getting baffled about it so he looked for some materials to research about. It turns out, it was a method for bald eagles to absorb spiritual energy. He was very relieved, though he could somewhat guess the reason for it.

Da Bai is a very proud bird in his younger years, so it became depress when it suffered major setbacks one after another. Da Bai considered Ah Li as its arch nemesis. But now, Ah Li is already a transcended beast and Da Bai’s level went down a lot because of what happened in the past. Now that Da Bai is ready to pick itself up again, Ling Xia is more than willing to help him find a way.

A magic beast’s magic strength is directly proportional to its bloodline, but how further its level will be is up to the beast’s efforts, as well as the relationship built between the magic beast and its contracted master.

Ling Xia decided that he will first find a way to restore Da Bai’s plumage, and then think of methods to help Da Bai increase his level. Its not important whether he make a contract or not, after all, when it times for Da Bai to make a family of its own, he’ll see if Da Bai still wishes to do so.

He researched the informations he gathered but he didn’t get much. Although there’s a lot of capable people under Yu Zhi Jue’s rule, but he finds it awkward to ask the great demon king to order Da Bai’s previous master and the rest.

There were times that Ling Xia can’t help but wonder, if the great demon king’s legion views him like the great beauties of china and royalty concubines Bai Si and Da Ji? That fucker Ming Ze was really hard on him, though he don’t where he is now….

Their relationship will not go smoothly, him and Yu Zhi Jue have a long difficult path ahead. But these problems, they will always slowly face it together.

Ling Xia sat on Da Bai’s back as they travel back and forth. The breeze brushing against him makes him squint his eyes comfortably. He didn’t how long had passed, but there was a sudden high pitch noise whistling nearer and nearer. Ling Xia widened his eyes in surprise, why does it sounds like Da Bai?

His vision had gotten already much better. Now he can apply spiritual strength in his eyes and see a lot farther.

The moment he clearly distinguished a man and a bird from afar, his heart immediately skipped a beat. To his surprise, it was Chu Yin! Da Bai was obviously shook because its body stiffened up. Da Bai cowered in front of its former master, losing its courage to run away.

Chu Yin was still wearing his usual red robes, standing on top of a flying bald eagle. Except that the eagle had full and rich plumage unlike Da Bai whose head is almost clean cut.

That bald eagle excitedly flew in twist and turn when it saw Da Bai. If it not for Chu Yin being there as well, it would have already pounced on them. On the other side, Da Bai was looking at that eagle with disgust, viciously glaring at it with an expression as if it was itching to kill it.

Ling Xia didn’t notice what was happening because his full attention is directed to Chu Yin. He breathes deeply and slowly straightened his posture. Encountering these people is definitely inevitable in the future, he must brace himself to the confrontation.

Chu Yin quickly come to a stop, his pair of narrow and slanted eyes sizes up Ling Xia. He raised his nose in the air and spoke with his drawn out playful tone: “Your blood~ It still look so tasty~”

Seeing the other person lick his lips from his uncontrollable hungry appetite, Ling Xia’s scalp tingled and he unconsciously pulls his neck back, but he quickly calms himself down: “Elder Chu.”

Chu Yin smiled and replied with a dry and pitchy voice: “Don’t be so serious~ It’s no fun like this~ I won’t do anything to you~”

The corner of Ling Xia’s lips twitches.

What’s with that playful expression in this blood demon’s eyes? The rest of the Dark Arts Sect legions seemed just fine, only this Chu Yin with an weird way of speaking I just don’t know how to handle.

A ball of thunder suddenly struck from above, hitting besides Chu Yin and burning the edge of his sleeves. A rumbling thunder is heard from the distance as thunder clouds surrounded by sparking electricity fleets over.

Song Xiao Hu riding Ah Li gave an impression of contrasting light and darkness as they valliantly rushes over. He then bellowed: “You old monster! Get away from big brother Ling!”

Ling Xia rejoices, he called out: “Xiao Hu! Ah Li!”

When Chu Yin saw Song Xiao Hu, the expression on his eyes immediately turned perverted and extremely fanatic, his pupil also got slightly bigger. He licked his lips in excitement: “Xiao Hu~ I always anticipated the moment we get to meet each other! This is so touching~”

Ling Xia shivered in fear. This Chu Yin fights like a madman, annoying the lord protagonist to death. Though he is not too worried because Chu Yin is no longer a match to Song Xiao Hu, but he dreads how Chu Yin readily sacrifice his life just to help level up the protagonist…..

Song Xiao Hu wears a blue short-sleeve buttoned chinese jacket, skin tight top and pants beneath, and his hedgehog hair had been comb backwards in a dashing style. He cupped his hand towards Ling Xia then turned to Chu Yin: “I don’t have any spare time to deal with you. Is the lesson I gave you last time not enough?”

Ling Xia wiped his cold sweat. To not be provoked by the other person’s dubious and greasy voice, the protagonist’s innate mental strength….sure is amazing.

Chu Yin’s didn’t pay attention to what Song Xiao Hu said. His sleeves was already rolled as he throws an attack. Two people clashes in a battle in the sky in a split seconds. Their speed was too fast so Ling Xia could only see flashing blue and red lights smashing together and then separating.

As the fight gets more intense, those two people in the sky went lower and lower in altitude, violent slamming sounds can be heard from time to time. Ling Xia got worried and called out: “Xiao Hu!”

Unexpectedly, Ah Li was not in the least worried, it even change into its smaller form and jumped into Ling Xia’s shoulder, intimately nuzzling against Ling Xia’s face.

Ah Li was keenly aware that Da Bai seemed to be very hostile towards the other bald eagle so Ah Li decided not to attack it, let the two birds fight on their own, hehe.

Ling Xia hugged Ah Li in his bossom. He is worried about Song Xiao Hu after all so he commanded Da Bai to chase after flashing lights clashing against each other. What he didn’t expect, is that Chu Yin’s bald eagle would follow them closely and caw softly at Da Bai several times.

Da Bai was glaring at Ah Li first, but the latter was ignoring it. So instead, Da Bai flew nearer to that bald eagle then grabs and scratchs at its wings. But because Ling Xia was sitting on top, Da Bai was limited to very slight movements. In fact, that bald eagle even diminishes their distance to each other, and uses its sharp and pointy beak to peck intimately at Da Bai’s body and snuggle against Da Bai repeatedly, making Da Bai’s feathers prick up in an explosion of anger.

“Is it….a female bald eagle?” Ling Xia thought out loud while holding Ah Li in his arms. Male bald eagles have greater numbers than female ones. And despite Da Bai’s current bald look, this girl eagle pays more importance on what is on the inside rather than the outside appearance!

This bald eagle’s body is actually a bit bigger than Da Bai…..Even if Da Bai isn’t the type to be the first one to put effort, he still should respect the ladies! Ling Xia comforting strokes Da Bai’s head, thinking that it would calm it down.

Da Bai cawed loudly in anger. What female eagle, female eagles don’t have that much plumage in their head! That’s a freaking juvenile!

Ah Li shakes its head as it gloated over Da Bai’s misfortune. Ah Li burrowed deeper into Ling Xia’s embrace and look at Da Bai with insulting eyes. Da Bai felt more useless as an eagle.

That bald eagle kept its close distance flying besides Da Bai so Da Bai continued to shoot wind blades at its direction. The other eagle tried to dodge it as much as it can, but it couldn’t avoid it all. Despite being hit to the point that blood spilled from its beak, it didn’t get angry and was wholeheartedly resigning to its bloody fate.

Da Bai ultimately lost face and its fighting spirit deflated as it flies down. Ling Xia is undependable while holding my enemy Ah Li whose eyeing him covetously. I’ll just fly and fly till I throw off this damn gay! (Bonbon TN: Da Bai is talking about his bald eagle suitor)

When this bald eagle got critically wounded by Da Bai, it lost a few of its levels but its still one level higher than Da Bai. Furthermore, Da Bai was carrying Ling Xia on its back. So no matter how fast Da Bai try to fly, it cannot outrun the other eagle. Da Bai’s head spins from too much irritation. It didn’t leveled its head aiming straight to the ground until they were about to hit it.

It was clear that Chu Yin and Song Xiao Hu’s battle ensues. Almost all the surrounding hills was flattened. Ling Xia knows that he’ll just cause inconvenience staying close, so he went out of the battle’s reach and waited for it to end.

He was watching with full interest and attention at the fight between those two, he didn’t notice that Chu Yin’s eagle was getting closer and closer to them while Da Bai was inching backwards. Da Bai got scared as it walks closer so it changes into its chick form and jumped into Ling Xia’s embrace. Unfortunately for Da Bai, Ah Li who was in there as well mischieviously kicked it out and Da Bai was thrown out. Da Bai got knocked against a tree and changes back again into its adult form in confusion.

Before Da Bai fully recovered, that bald eagle already pounced on Da Bai in high spirits. Watching another male on top of its body, Da Bai almost wanted to shed tears——Lao Zi is a genuine straight male, Lao Zi is not a homosexual….

“Caw!” That bald eagle exclaimed, the beautiful plumage in its head quivered as a sign of adoration——I like you, you should date me!

Da Bai admiringly at the same time hatefully stares at the other eagle’s head feathers. Da Bai raised its claw and beckoned the eagle to come closer.

The eyes of that eagle shined brightly, it impatiently went closer. Da Bai’s expression suddenly turned hostile. It strikes like a thunder and pulled on the other eagle’s head plumage with great strength without listening to reason. Da Bai put all its strength in pulling: I will pull and pull! I will pull with both my mouth and claws!

“Ow! Ow! Ow!” The bald eagle screamed in pain. Even so, it merely gritted its jaw to endure and lowered its head with tears in its eyes as it allows Da Bai to continue wrecking its precious plumage.

After the feathers had been plucked, Da Bai looked at the other eagle who now looked bald like him with great satisfaction, the resentment in Da Bai’s heart melted away.

That bald eagle looked at Da Bai miserably and answered with a caw—— I guess, you’ll let me stay by your side now as a fellow bald.

If only Da Bai would clearly look at the eagle’s expression, Da Bai could see that it turned red as tomato.

Da Bai glared at the eagle with new bald look. Da Bai was fuming with rage while thinking: Lao Zi is not homo, and Lao Zi is not this idiot’s owner!

Da Bai tried to swat the other eagle off it, but when it pounces on Da Bai again, Da Bai didn’t have enough strength to do so.

As soon as Song Xiao Hu and Chu Yin’s fight ended, Ling Xia breaths in relief. It was only then did Ling Xia notice the strange interaction between the two eagles. That bald eagle keeps on sticking close to Da Bai. Da Bai seemed to be making small angry noises while smacking the other eagle with not much strength in his wings, then that bald eagle will quickly come close and nuzzle Da Bai. Their amusing commotion continues like a married couple having fun without ever getting tired of it…

The corner of Ling Xia’s mouth twitches. It looks like, Da Bai finally found a wife?

Song Xiao Hu’s clothes was completely tattered but he was still in great condition, while Chu Yin’s body was filled with bleeding wounds, although his eyes was still bright.

Ling Xia hastily walked towards Song Xiao Hu with Ah Li in his arms: “Xiao Hu, are you hurt?”

Song Xiao Hu’s pair of dimples suddenly appeared, he replied with a smile: “I’m all right, big brother Ling.”

Song Xiao Hu glared at Chu Yin and declared: “If you seek big brother Ling to cause trouble again, I will not let you off easily next time, I swear!”

Ling Xia finds it touching yet funny. Is the lord protagonist still so hot-headed? I’m not actually that defenseless though…..
