Karl was using this way to absorb her power but now he couldn’t absorb it. This may be because the Shirahoshi had regained her clarity, or it may be that the current Shirahoshi couldn’t use the ability of the “Ancient weapon".

In short, Karl concluded that he could not absorb any abilities from the normal Shirahoshi. 

Karl could not continue to absorb her power. And even if he had the ability he wouldn’t because it was quite the burden to her body. If someone found something abnormal about her, the profit was not worth the loss.

But Karl had to continue to absorb the ability of "Ancient Weapon” although the ability was was not that useful...Although it sounds very powerful, the sea kings can't teleport, so it was impossible to use it in a dangerous situation.

So, the speed was a huge problem. But the energy provided by the Shirahoshi vaguely made Karl feel that his third eye still had the possibility of evolution.

Yes, Karl’s third eye seems to be able to absorb this energy, and thus evolve stronger!

Although Karl did not know whether Shirahoshi could slowly recover the energy, Karl was not stupid, and even if Shirahoshi couldn’t recover her ability. He wouldn’t risk absorbing all the power at once making Shirahoshi weak and incurring the wrath of the fishmen while he was still inside their palace. It made Karl feel a lot more tired than fighting a big battle. Finally, they reached Neptune’s room.

"King Neptune?"

After enjoying the food in the banquet hall, Karl stayed in the Palace with peace of mind. After all, he was now a good friend of Princess Shirahoshi. And her father, Neptune naturally arranged the accommodation. 

Lying on the bed Karl looked at the gorgeous carvings on the ceiling, and a few thoughts flashed in his mind inexplicably.

"I wonder what Cracker and his crew are up to. Have they found a place to stay yet?

At this time, Cracker couldn't help but sneeze. , He turned around and asked Reb, "How is it? Haven't found a place to stay?"
