“Welcome!” Electra smiled with excitement.

 

"This place looks a bit different than the last time I was here..." I said with a curious expression while looking around Electra's Divine Realm.

 

The last time I visited this place, it was lacking decorations and only had a large table for tea and that's it.

 

Currently, it has a lot more furniture than I remember…

 

There's a very stylish red sofa in the middle of the gigantic room. There's a white coffee table in front of it and a reeeeeally big plasma TV hanging on the wall in front of the coffee table and the sofa.

 

There's also smaller couches around the coffee table.

 

But it doesn't just end there. Bookshelves, portraits, paintings, lamps and even a white piano… 

 

Basically, this is the living room.

 

There were also doors leading to other rooms.

 

"Electra, why wasn't your place decorated the last time I was here?" I asked my wife.

 

"It was decorated. I just hid everything with magic because I didn't want to get us distracted while I apologized to you…" Electra smiled awkwardly.

 

"I guess that makes sense… Are you sure you don't want to go out like Suika and I did?" I asked Electra with a bit of concern.

 

Electra smiled happily and shook her head.

 

"I have some special plans for our date, so don't worry about that! It does make me happy that you want to take me out to have fun!" Electra looked really happy.

 

I could only stare in astonishment at her beautiful facial expressions...

 

Ah, I guess I should explain what happened with Suika after our date ended.

 

Well, it is actually quite simple to explain.

 

I carried her back to the inn and took her to bed.

 

Suika was not done with me even though she was asleep…

 

In her drunken-sleepy state, she started pulling me towards her while giggling.

 

I tried to get away, but the drunken and hardheaded mouse woman was not about to give up… 

 

In the end, I ended up in bed with a very clingy Suika. She ended up sleeping on top of me while hugging me very tightly.

 

She seemed very comfortable like that, so I decided to also go to sleep early.

 

Before that, I also saw Mara, Lara, Nozomi, Rose and Junko.

 

It was apparently a busy night at the tavern, so all of them were working to satisfy the demands of the clients.

 

Lara and Mara were smiling bitterly as soon as they saw me enter with the unconscious Suika.

 

Junko waved at me while wagging her tail and smiling before going back to work.

 

Nozomi did look a bit puzzled seeing me carrying her unconscious mother.

 

That's really all that happened before I went to sleep.

 

I didn't see the rest of my wives because they were still busy apparently. It made me a bit sad.

 

"Don't worry! You'll see them soon! For now, let's focus on having a fun night! I'll make time pass slower here so we can enjoy ourselves even more!" Electra looked at me and smiled.

 

She really was looking forward to our date.

 

"So you can slow time down? As expected of a goddess…" I said with amazement.

 

"I can only slow it down slightly. Since Time is not really a part of my dominion, I cannot control it very well… My older sisters are certainly leagues above me when it comes to the manipulation of time." Electra smiled bitterly.

 

A strange glow appeared on Electra's eyes.

 

"Done! Now twelve hours here should be eight hours in real time." Electra nodded to herself with approval.

 

"Ehh? Already?" I was confused. 

 

She barely moved and she certainly didn't chant or use mana…

 

"Ru, your mortal eyes cannot see the flow of time, so it is natural that you didn't see what I did or how I did it." Electra explained.

 

Ah… I guess that makes sense…

 

I'm still a newbie when it comes to magic, so…

 

Electra then crouched and hugged me. Her arms were wrapped around my neck.

 

"Ru, let's not talk about such a complicated topic since it is our first date. So, let's enjoy this to our hearts' content!" Electra said with excitement.

 

"Well, what do you want to do?" I asked Electra.

 

"I have a lot of fun things for us to do!" Electra was ecstatic.

 

I wonder what she has in store for me…

 

Before I could even open my mouth, my stomach growled loudly.

 

"Of course, having dinner was among those activities! Hehehe!" Electra giggled in response.

 

Yeah, I forgot that I didn't actually have dinner because I decided to stay with Suika.

 

"Dinner does sound nice…" I nodded.

 

"C'mon now! Let's have a nice and tasty meal!" Electra then stood up and grabbed my hand.

 

I just held her hand tightly and the two of us went our merry way towards the kitchen.

 

Just like the living room, the kitchen was gigantic and well decorated with a wide variety of furniture and useful tools.

 

The kitchen was really well equipped. There were a lot of furnaces, one for pizzas, other for pastries, another one for bread and one for other foods.

 

On top of the counters, there was a microwave, a sink, a toaster and a large collection of knives beside a cutting board. 

 

There were a few pans and a large pot on top of the oven.

 

There's also a very advanced fridge and a freezer beside it.

 

In the middle of the kitchen, there was an isle made out of polished marble. On top of that isle, there were tons of familiar and unfamiliar ingredients.

 

The kitchen also served as a dining room. There was already a table prepared with a mantle, flowers, candles, utensils and plates.

 

A very familiar smell invaded my nostrils as soon as we reached the kitchen. It was meat.

 

"What do you feel like eating today? I will cook of course!" Electra seemed very excited to cook for me.

 

"Hmmm…" I started thinking really hard about it, but… Nothing really came to my mind.

 

What to do…?

 

"You know what? Surprise me." I smiled at Electra.

 

"I knew you would say that." Electra lovingly caressed my neck before letting go of my hand and walking towards the isle.

 

She started examining the ingredients before…

 

"Alright! I know what I'm going to prepare for you! Please look forward to it!" Electra smiled confidently.

 

She then started cutting ingredients at an unbelievable speed, just like she had done at that time when we were near the bandits' hideout.

 

It was still extremely impressive… I could only stare at her in awe while she cooked with a smile.

 

There were no words that could accurately describe what I was witnessing…

 

Electra was cutting ingredients and then launching them into the air. All of the ingredients ended up in separate pans.

 

"Woah…" I gasped thanks to Electra's skillful cooking.

 

"Hehehe!" Electra giggled as she saw me gasp. "Just wait until it's ready!" She said with a grin.

 

Fire then started heating up the ingredients on the pans…

 

After a few seconds, the smell was already making me drool…

 

"Oh! I should also put a bit of that…" Electra muttered.

 

She extended her hand into the empty air… A portal was opened and her hand sunk into it. After a few seconds, her hand pulled out a small white container.

 

Electra emptied the contents of the container on a small pot that suddenly appeared on top of the oven.

 

The small pot then was put on top of the fire… The smell coming from that pot was completely irresistible for me…

 

"Do you want to taste a bit?" Electra asked with a warm smile.

 

"Yes, please!" I nodded vigorously.

 

I immediately ran towards Electra. She kept smiling as I approached her.

 

"Open up!" Electra stopped cooking with that unbelievable speed and offered me a small spoonful of the contents of the container from before.

 

It was a brown and thick sauce.

 

I instantly opened my mouth as much as I could.

 

Electra giggled again and gave me what I wanted…

Is… Is this what heaven tastes like?

 

I could only kneel to the ground and pray to the Goddess in front of me.

 

"I was really looking forward to seeing your reaction to my granny's special recipe! It never fails!" Electra said proudly.

 

She really seemed like she was having fun.

 

"Can I have some more…?" I asked her shyly while twiddling with my thumbs.

 

"Sorry, but no. The food will be ready in a minute, so please take a seat." Electra denied my request with a gentle, yet strict tone.

 

I tried using my puppy eyes against her, but…

 

"Ru…" Electra simply smiled bitterly while she restarted her high-speed cooking.

 

"Okay…" I was feeling dejected.

 

I simply did what I was told and took a seat on the table. Electra smiled warmly at me while she was cooking.

 

I was still a bit dumbfounded about her speed even though it wasn’t my first time seeing it…

 

It seemed like it was still going to take a bit for our meal to be ready, so I decided to get to know Electra a little bit more.

 

“By the way, you never told me how many siblings you have. I know your family is pretty large thanks to your grandfather, but…” I looked at her with curiosity.

 

Her expression brightened as soon as I asked her about her siblings.

 

“I have 206 siblings. 103 are female, 103 are male. As you know already, I’m the youngest so that makes me the 207th sibling.” Electra explained.

 

Wow… Two hundred siblings… Gods are something else…

 

“You could probably surpass that number easily though. If it wasn’t for the Job and Title of Hero preventing you from getting someone pregnant, you would already have a small village of sons and daughters.” Electra looked a bit amused while cooking something on a pan.

 

“Thank you very much for considering me for the honor of being a Hero…” I bowed.

 

Yeah, I’m not prepared to be a parent right now. Although, if my children are full goblins and they grow up in less than a week, I might consider it…

 

“Yeah, it is for the best that you don’t have any children right now. We don’t know when the Demon King is going to revive.” Electra said with a serious expression.

 

I think this might be a good chance to ask her about my duties as a Hero and the Demon King…

 

Electra's expression immediately changed…

 

"Sorry! Right now it is not the time to talk about that! I promise that I will explain everything in detail, okay?" She smiled awkwardly.

 

Yeah, we shouldn't ruin our date with some serious stuff.

 

"The food is ready now!" Electra looked really proud of herself.

 

She suddenly snapped her fingers and a plate with a very familiar dish appeared in front of me.

 

Electra had also teleported to the other side of the table.

 

The dish was none other than a burger with fries.

 

She had a plate with the same dish in front of her.

 

"Please hurry up and taste it!" Electra was expecting my reaction...

 

The burger reminded me of my last hours on Earth and my last meal which was basically a burger with fries and a large soda.

 

Although I was having some weird nostalgic feelings, I didn't waste any time and tasted the burger.

 

I… I was actually brought to heaven this time…

 

It was probably the tastiest burger I had ever eaten. The meat was so tender and juicy, the cheese was simply perfect, the vegetables were very refreshing and the sauces had an extraordinary harmony…

 

Ah… I don't even know what I'm saying anymore… This burger is definitely the best burger ever to be made!

 

"Hehehe! It is not that big of a deal…~" Electra actually looked a bit embarrassed and gleeful.

 

"Thank you so much, I can finally die in peace…" I bowed to her.

 

My life is complete after tasting the supreme burger! There will be no burger to surpass this one! It is the Legendary Super Burger!

 

"Ru, stop exaggerating…" Electra really looked embarrassed now.

 

"What even are these ingredients and these sauces…? I have never tasted something sooooo good before!" I was on cloud nine.

 

"Well, most of the ingredients I used were cultivated and produced by me…" Electra was playing with her long pale blue hair. 

 

She seemed like she was still a bit embarrassed.

 

"To be honest, this is the first time I use one of my grandmother's recipes with someone that's nor from my family…" Electra showed me an innocent expression.

 

For a moment, I completely forgot about the burger…

 

"Which one of your thousand grannies?" I asked before I continued eating my own burger.

 

"Oh, it is from my Granny Erina! Sometimes she can be a bit odd…" Electra smiled bitterly. "She is, however, the best chef in all of the multiverse! She even earned that title while being a mortal!" Electra then looked proud of the achievement of her grandma.

 

Damn… The best chef in all the multiverse… I don't think 'impressive' is enough to describe that achievement...

 

"You really seem to look up to your grandparents." I smiled at her.

 

Electra nodded.

 

"I do. They taught me a lot of valuable lessons in my life." Electra had a bit of a nostalgic look.

 

Hmmm…

 

"What was your childhood like?" I asked with a very curious expression.

 

I was really interested to know about her past.

 

"My childhood…?" Electra looked a bit confused that I had asked that, but her expression changed almost instantly.

 

She then started smiling very excitedly.

 

"I used to spend a lot of time in my grandparents' world. I even went to school and college there!" Electra explained.

 

I remember that Arrat mentioned something about high school and college too…

 

It is a bit strange to know that gods also go to college.

 

"My grandparents always used to say that I was a bit of a tomboy, when I was a kid. Well, I can't blame them for that because it was true… I loved to play sports with the other children in town and barely did anything girlish. I remember that I used to spy on my grandpa and one of my grandmothers when they were training on the patio of their castle…" Electra smiled awkwardly.

 

She looked genuinely happy talking about it though.

 

"One of the days I was spying on them, they actually discovered me. My grandfather only smiled at me and asked me if I wanted to learn how to use a sword. It was a wooden one of course." Electra closed her eyes to relive that memory.

 

So she learnt how to fight from a young age huh…

 

"I started spending a lot of time with my grandparents. My grandpa taught me how to use a lot of different weapons and several different fighting styles. He also encouraged me to practice without them. My grandmother told me that my grandpa was talking about us training together basically all the time, he was very excited and happy to spend time with me." Electra started playing with her hair again.

 

I just listened quietly to her story.

 

"A few years after that, I participated in my first serious tournament. My grandfather was basically screaming and encouraging me the entire time. I had never seen a person so excited before that! Hehehe!" Electra giggled.

 

It made me smile seeing her giggling so happily.

 

"You should have seen the faces of my grandparents when I won my first tournament. Some of my grannies were shedding tears, some others wouldn't stop hugging me. One of them even spent a full week without sleeping, working on an actual sword to give me as a gift for winning the tournament." Electra smiled again.

 

Wow… A full week without sleeping…

 

Her grandparents definitely love her.

 

"They really sound like very caring grandparents." I smiled at my wife.

 

Electra nodded her head vigorously.

 

"Do you think they will like me? I mean, I don't know how Gods see goblins marrying one of their own." I smiled bitterly.

 

Electra immediately nodded.

 

"You don't need to worry about that. They would never judge you because of your race. I definitely think that they will like you." Electra said with confidence.

 

"Ah, that's good then." I was a bit relieved…

 

"In fact, most races in this world were created by my grandparents, so they definitely wouldn't hate you just because you're a goblin." Electra tried to reassure me.

 

That's definitely a relief…

 

"Well, I'll be looking forward to meeting them, Electra." I smiled at my wife again.

 

"You will also definitely like them! Let's go to my grandparents' world when we defeat the Demon King!" Electra was extremely excited.

 

I nodded vigorously.

 

"Now it is my turn to ask some questions! Ru, I want to hear some embarrassing stories about your childhood in your former life!" She looked even more excited than before.

 

"My childhood… Well, I do have a lot of embarrassing moments…" I smiled bitterly.

 

"We have more than enough time to talk about all of that!" Electra was determined to listen to stories about my childhood.

 

It really made me happy that she wanted to know about me, even though my childhood compared to hers is certainly boring.

 

"I'll make you two more burgers if you tell me those stories!" Electra had a smug expression.

"You have a deal, my dear wife. I suppose that our story starts once upon a time, where a certain child in a certain place was…-" I immediately accepted her proposal.

 

Electra listened to my stories very intently, she really looked like she was having a really good time.

 

She and I kept exchanging stories until we finished having our dinner.

 

I still want to learn more about Electra… I want to make her happy. I also really hope her relatives like me…
