In about 30 minutes of rummaging through their houses, the villager's managed to get their most precious belongings and items before putting them on their goat-like creatures that every household had at least one. Also, the only three carts that were on the village were filled to the brim with grain's, flour and cheese that was saved for the winter so they could at least hold out for a while and not immediately become beggars.

Jason worriedly saw this happened and couldn't help but have a strange feeling of dessication from the villagers. He felt bad about what was happening to the villagers, but he wasn't perticulary saddened by their deaths and this migration. It was like he was seeing this through the screen of his TV in his old world.

"Ughh...

Another headache bothered him, but he had been used to them by now and didn't worry anymore. They were the constant reminder that this world was not an utopia and he was lucky to be alive at the moment.

' It's better that I also get ready.' thought Jason who had strapped the short iron sword he had bought on his belt ,and was holding his bow on his left hand. He definitely looked like an adventurer, but his status would beg to differ. He headed to the back of the caravan which the dwarf was guarding and fell into position.

"Let's move people! The farther we are from this place the safer we will be." yelled the bald adventurer and the caravan finally started to move. The silent crying and shushing coupled with the mood made it look like a death march.  As he saw this Jason couldn't help but be angry at the being that reincarnated him here.

' It'll be fun he sad, you were chosen he said! 2D looking, lying ass bitch! Haaaaahhhhh.....'

"You seem to have something on your mind. Care to share it with me?" said the dwarf without taking his eyes of the road. This made Jason give a quick glance at the dwarf that was shorter than him and then answer.

"Well....there is something, but it's not important. It's would only bore you, so.......

"That so.....

Well, it's up to you if you want to talk about it, but I have something to tell you. You have to be wary not to piss of Red when we reach the town and we are asked what happened.

He wants all the credit for himself so he may gain some reputation from the guild and maybe even a little monetary reward, and you're not included in that plan. It's better than you say nothing about what you did and go with the flow."

Jason's eyes narrowed as he listened to the dwarfs words and clicked his tongue in amusement.

"Well well, should I thank you or something? Maybe I should even say that you fought of the 'zombie commander' with little effort? Tell me, should I?"

Jason's word's make the dwarf shake his head in resignation and he gave a sigh of resignation.

"Haaaaaaa.....kid ,I know that you must be angry with me, but there is no other way out of this. I owe you my life, we all do , but this is something that is not negotiable. We all need to get stronger to survive and this is an opportunity we can't let slip by, so please.....forgive us."

"........

"........

After that silence ensued as Jason as he thought about the situation. No one spoke  for about five minutes until Jason made up his mind.

"Tch.....fine then I'll do as you say, but in exchange for that, I want a couple of things from you." said Jason after a while as he began to think that maybe this was not a bad thing. As a Farmer and as someone from the modern world he knew that notoriety had good and bad sides.

' Being anonymous is better than being on the spotlight. Growing stronger and getting information is a better course of action for now.' thought Jason as he gathered his thoughts.

"Fine, but it has to be within my ability to accomplish and not endanger our lives." said the dwarf somewhat relived at Jason's agreeing with his words. "What do you want? Do you want money, maybe you have some kind of task for us?"

"No." Jason shook his head " I want information from you. To be exact, information about Classes and skills."

"Information.... about Classes and skills?" quietly repeated the dwarf "Well, I can definitely do that, but it's not that I have the information on how to become a Mage alright? If I did, I wouldn't he sitting there with you."

"I didn't have that in mind, but now you peeked my interest. Is becoming a mage so difficult?" curiously asked Jason.

"Hah, is getting an item drop difficult? Kid, becoming a Mage is so difficult and unknown that only noble's and direct disciples of mages cam become one. It's believed that a commoner becoming a Mage is like god personally bestowing his blessings on you.

It's that hard...." enviously said the dwarf.

"Huh, then that must mean that they are powerful aren't they? If so, compared to someone of your level, how strong is a Mage."

"That....is hard to say." said the dwarf after thinking for a while."The set of spells a Mage has learned are so varied that it's impossible to gauge their power. There is also the problem of distance as a Mage at close distance is at a disadvantage, but if you give him  a little distance  he could easily take on three of me. Also, as Mages are usually rich they are protected at any time by guards so it makes it even harder."

"Hmmmmm.... that sounds tough, but couldn't an archer kill a Mage in a sneak attack? I guess that a precise arrow to the head would do the job." asked Jason a little intrigued by the conversation. He finally was beginning to crack the surface  on the knowledge about Classes of this world.

"Hahaha, of course, but I doubt anyone would dare to. Mages are like walking gold statues to the Empire, and taking one hostage is more valuable. I'm not sure that I've heard about a Mage beeing killed in the Empire, beside dying on a dungeon of course."

"Hmmm hmmmmm, that is very interesting. Now about skills, what can you say about that? I'm interested......

The dwarf gave a look at Jason's bow and smiled. " I guess you should somewhat experienced it , but maybe you don't know.

There are tens on Classes on this world and each Class is like a path for the being who possess that Class. An Archer will definitely learn skills related to his Class easily and faster than another Class, but that doesn't mean that other Classes can't gain the skill. It's only much harder, but there is also a trick to skills that is not as widely known.

For example, take Axion which is a Class that is geared towards axe skills and a Lumberjack. The growth rate of the axe skill for both of them is the same, but the way to level it up is different. The Axion can grow his axe skill while fighting, while the Lumberjack grows his skill by cutting wood.  It's not impossible for the Axion to grow his axe skill by chopping wood , but the growth rate will definitely fall and vice versa."

"That, makes sense??

So what you're saying is that going against your Class is counterproductive, but it's not impossible. Does that mean that a Lumberjack could rival a Axion? " hopefully asked Jason, but he was met with laughter.

"Hahaha, no he can't. Even though they may have the same level of skill, the stat growth of a combat class is much higher. While a Lumberjack gain's one point to his strength and vitality every level, the Warrior Class which is the most basic one gain's one point to all stats each level.

What I'm saying is that it's not impossible, but it's better to not be something you aren't." said the dwarf , implying to Jason to not bite more than he can chew.

"I see...." said Jason as his thoughts moved and he finally got some of his answers , but he had much more for the dwarf. His thirst for knowledge was only becoming stronger and stronger. He opponed his status page and took a look at his stats.
