"Young Scholar, could you spare some time and share a meal with me?" Wang Ke Er asked.

----------Admin is offline.

It left?

Ming Yu nodded his head and followed suit into a private room on the third floor.

It was the room where he'd seen Guo Li Jun, but when they entered, he wasn't inside.

Was he mistaken...

After food was set on the table, Ming Yu only touched his tea and waited for her to talk.

Yao Ren Jin beside her was a new face so he only glanced at him and looked back on his tea.

"Young scholar, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" she asked in clear and pretty voice.

"Ming Yu."

Wang Ke Er curiously studied his face and continued to smile.

". . . Yesterday, you've saved me and I would like like to ask if there's a way to thank you." she asked sincerely.

Ming Yu glanced at the man who seemed to be feeling uncomfortable around her.

"No need." he answered.

The room was trapped in silence unable to continue the conversation and the smile on the her face was starting to wear out.

"I haven't introduced ourselves, I am Wang Ke Er, this man beside me is General Yao Ren Jin."

Ming Yu spared both a long look but then again went back on sipping tea.

"this basta-" she mumbled under her breath and Ming Yu couldn't hear it.

Mmn?~ Lets see if you can stay quiet to this

Having such thoughts, Wang Ke Er stood up and sat beside to Ming Yu. The distance wasn't close enough to do the trick so she leaned on his shoulder grabbing his arm around hers.

". . . is there really, no way to thank you." she said seductively as her sleeves fell halfway on her shoulder.

Ming Yu put his tea down and gently shook his arm away.

"No." he said while fixing her loosened robe.

"The food. . . it'll get cold."

The general before him couldn't help but snort and hold in his laugh. Noticing this, the lady shoved a leg underneath the tabled and kicked him.

"Young scholar. . . I don't know if you understand but-" Wang Ke Er pushed him down and loosened her outer robe. "this."

Before she could go any further, Ming Yu regained his seat and lightly pushed her away grabbing her robe and fixed it close.

He gently smoothed the crease and said unperturbed. "This meal. . . is enough."

Yao Ren Jin who saw everything broke out a sweat.

If it was some other woman, she would swoon and be pleased by his gentleness but for Wang Ke Er, it was an insult to her pride making her throw a fit of temper.

"Young scholar. Look at this face, aren't I attractive? this beauty willingly climb onto your bed, if it was any other man out there they wouldn't dare refuse." Wang Ke Er tried to keep her elegance intact but couldn't hide the forceful smile on her face.

"You are attractive." Ming Yu admitted.

"So how dare you refuse me!" she voiced out, peeved.

Ming Yu stared at her from head to toe finding her cute seeing how she tried to hold back her tongue and act with a hint of dominance.

"You're pretty for a woman. . . but im into men." he confessed with a straight face.

"WHAT!"

"!!!"

[Admin: !!!!! ]

Admin you didn't know?

Wang Ke Er's eyes turned round like marbles and could only dumbly point her finger at him.

"Y-you. . . YOU'RE A CUT SLEEVE?!" she exclaimed loudly from shock.

Maybe because she was too loud that the sound of a cup hitting the floor came from upstairs.

"Mmn." he nodded.

Yao Ren Jin cleared out his throat and grabbed his bowl intent on shifting this conversation with something else.

"The food is getting colder. we should eat." he awkwardly said.

"Cut sleeve.... a cut sleeve..." Wang Ke Er repeatedly chanted boggled then glanced at Ming Yu before taking a deep breath. "Tsk! what a waste of my skills!"

This change in demeanor didn't came as a surprise for him. Wang Ke Er was a memorable character, he liked her very much.

"Benefactor" she said with sincerity. "im sorry for being rude. I just wanted to tease you for throwing me into cold water and leaving me alone yesterday. No wonder you were so rough, a cut sleeve like you wouldn't know how to be gentle to women." Wang Ke Er grabbed her bowl and started to eat.

The atmosphere in the room turned for the better and they started eating merrily.

Just before Wang Ke Er could strike up another conversation, the door opened.

"Who is it? we didn't order anymore food." Wang Ke Er voiced out.

Ming Yu turned to look and stopped munching on the dumpling between his lips.

"Ming Yu. . ." Li Jun smiled in greeting. "It's good to see you"

Guo Li Jun barging into their room and seeing his smile directed at Ming Yu, Wang Ke Er choked on her food and coughed.

"Water-" she croaked. Yao Ren Jin filled her cup and gave it to her.

Ming Yu put his meal down to meet his eyes.

"Are you well?" he asked wondering about his injury.

"Don't worry. Im all better now." he coaxed in reply.

"Y-you. . . you two, know each other?" Wang Ke Er asked surprised by this development.

"Mmn. Ming Yu saved my life. I didn't want to mention this but well, it seems I owe him twice now." he briefly explained.

Yao Ren Jin couldn't help but ask him for details now knowing that the assassination didn't go smoothly due to his carelessness. Although he was tasked to finish off survivors, he failed to be his support.

"Ren Jin don't think too much. You did well." he comforted him.

"So this scholar saved not only me but young master Jun too?" her eyes gleamed and stared at Ming Yu like some rare find. "Handsome scholar, you're good." she smiled slyly.

Guo Li Jun stared at Ming Yu and cant help but admit that he's pleasing to look at. Being submitted under his stare, Ming Yu somehow felt weirdly uncomfortable and brushed the back of his neck with his palm.

[Admin: Hey author. . . don't you feel like something's not right with this atmosphere?]

Since Ming Yu was around them he didn't dare reply to the Admin and because of discomfort, he couldn't gather his thoughts.

"Ming Yu." Guo Li Jun said intimately.

"Since you're new to the Xi capital, I assume you don't have a residence to stay."

"I don't." he replied. Knowing this, Guo Li Jun couldn't hide the anticipation he felt in his heart and smiled at him.

"Then, how about you stay inside my residence while you're here?" he suggested.

"Come live with me."

Ming Yu eyes widened, bewildered by his use of words.

"Young master Jun, you might want to think twice. . ." Wang Ke Er warned him.

"Cause he prefers men?"

"Y-you. you heard us."

"Im not against it. So Ming Yu can move in with a lighter heart and not worry." He reassured him. Actually, if he were to fell prey to it. . . might not be bad.

"Or is there a need for me to?" he worded out ambiguously.

[Admin: Ming Yu what will you do?]

Ming Yu stared at Guo Li Jun and deeply thought about it.

I think. . . I'll accept it.

[Admin: Why?]

Wouldn't it be better to stick around the ML to know what is currently happening.

[Admin: You're not wrong. . . but ML. He's somehow OOC.]

"Ming Yu, will you agree?" he asked with a hint of impatience in his tone.

"Mmn. I'll go." Ming Yu finally replied.

Guo Li Jun couldn't hide his pleasant smile and laughed with a blissful heart.

"Then i'll take my leave. Ke Er, Ren Jin. When you're finished you know where to find me." he reminded them.

"Then we'll see each other later. Ming Yu." he heartily laughed at the thought.

"Mmn." he responded blandly as Guo Li Jun turned to leave.

The two third party people were stunned not knowing how to take in the entire scenario that occurred just now.

"Ming Yu saved me and young master Jun. . . as thanks my young master invited him home. . .Ming Yu's into men but he doesn't mind. . . does that mean?. . . no no no. that cant be haha." Wang Ke Er mumbled to herself laughing at her thoughts then denying them.

"Hey. hey. hey. Handsome scholar. no. Ming Yu." Ke Er inched closer without care for her image. "Did anything special happened between you and young master Jun?" Her eyes beaming for gossip.

"No." none as far as he know of.

"No way. Ren Jin don't you think its weird? I never saw him that gentle and nice till now." she nudged him with his elbow to hear his reply.

Wang Ke Er leaned closer to Ren Jin's ear and whispered.

"Young master Jun. . . cant be interested. . ." Wang Ke Er gestured both her index fingers close together indicating something but was unable to continue her words as Ren Jin pushed her away.

"It's just your mind playing tricks on you." he retorted back.

"That cant be!" she pouted from his words.

[Admin: Ming Yu. . . lets get things straight between us. Is Guo Li Jun your type?]

Admin. who are you, my father?
