Duke Reynard had entered Mila's room but to see her shaking still. He didn't know if she struggled to sleep from the early trauma. Laying his hand down onto her head, he had cast a spell to have her sleep well for the night. 'Why do I feel so concerned for her? She has the eyes of the Noble Family, but she has no symbol.' Duke Reynard didn't know why she didn't have one. For now, they could only lie to the people that she had one.

Leaving the room, he didn't want more women in his mansion. Neither of them was the primary wife since he still mourned for his first wife, who passed away delivering his first son—going to the giant portrait that was hung up in the main room. Seeing his first wife and him together, he looked to remember her beautiful honey hair and ocean blue eyes.

"Life without you makes it hard for me every day." Duke Reynard said, looking to the portrait of his only love. That was why he cherished his eldest son the most.

Mila woke up and looked around the room. She saw that Sara had long gone already to finish her assigned duties in Noble's mansion. Sitting up, she felt her stomach growl as she was hungry. 'Do I need to cry for food???' She felt her mind sadly groan, knowing that she didn't want to.

About to cry, the doors opened as she saw a lion coming into her room. Seeing the lion, she gasped to know who's it belonged to. Two-Tailed Fire Lion!!! Leo!!!!' Knowing that Leo was the only one with that beast type in the Noble Family, she thought. It walked up forth, but Mila wasn't afraid of it.

She instead couldn't help but love the cuteness of it. She stretched forth and hugged its face, which the lion didn't seem to mind. He lightly purred and lightly placed a bottle of milk into her crib. Looking down, Mila smiled, knowing that Leo likely wanted to give it to her, but he probably didn't want to be found.

"Uak uw." (Thank you.)

The lion rubbed his cheek against hers lightly and left her room after. Mila laid back down and started drinking her bottle with joy that she didn't have to cry for it. Thank you, Leo! You're my savior!' She thought and smiled.

Leo was sword training in the lower grounds to avoid being seen while had his very first beast to give a bottle for Mila when she woke up. He couldn't wait to have her wake up, so he had to leave Rey to provide the bottle. Taking a break from his training, Leo went to sit at the bench and wipe his face. Seeing Rey come back, "Did you give her the bottle?"

[I did. A fearless and calm child] Rey said, knowing that only the beasts in a contract with their master could communicate with them. No one else could hear their voice but their master.

"Hm." Leo was just glad that Mila had her fill for the morning. "Keeping an eye on her will not be easy."

[Leo, why do you want to help this little sister of yours?] Rey asked, knowing that she didn't have the Noble family’s symbol.

Leo didn't know either, and he didn't understand why he wanted to help her. 'I wish I knew the answer to that question.' Leo just said in his head. Rey knew that Leo didn't know the reason either, so he left the question unanswered. Rey just sat down, watching Leo continue training while hiding to find the culprit who tried to poison him.

With the following days passing, Mila found that time passed quickly without anyone even realizing it. She hadn't seen her mother for six months; Mila was already learning to walk but so far is still crawling. 'I can finally crawl, but my words are still lame.' Mila sighed, knowing how irritated she was with her words. Being dressed in such pretty clothes had her see how she was a bit spoiled than before. 'Why do I even have these types of clothes??? They are a bit annoying to wear.' Mila thought and kept tugging to get rid of it since it was uncomfortable to wear. She didn't know how she wore them as an infant before.

"What are you planning this time?" Leo entered her room. Seeing him walk inside, Mila looked at him and smiled.

'It feels awkward to smile mostly to people I never expressed to.' Mila thought with her eyebrow twitching.

"You always smile with me coming here. Why is that?" Leo said, sitting down as he just looked down at her. Mila crawled up to him and stood on her feet. Staring up to the boy who was her older brother and likely her only sibling support.

"Bwhr!" (Brother!) Holding hope that this little attention would get to him.

Leo saw how she struggled with words, but it was customary for someone her age. He couldn't help but smile and pet her head lightly. "You'll get there soon with time." He wasn't going to mess with her since she was still young and one of the unfavored children in the Noble household by their family except their father caring for her. Leo was favored by their father but not by his many stepmothers and half-siblings besides Mila, who seemed kind enough to like him.

He saw that both were alike in some ways since a few people only loved them. Mila hugged Leo, who wasn't even thinking of why but it was too late to go back now. She hugged him and snuggled her face into his chest. Leo just sighed and held Mila, who fell asleep in his arms.

"It seems as though you care for her." Hearing Rey's voice, Leo could still communicate with him. Master and beast could still speak when they were not summoned, which is like a link in their mind to talk to another.

Duke Reynard stood outside Mila's room and saw his oldest son and youngest daughter together. He didn't mind since he knew the relationship between all of his children. None of them liked Leo but seeing how Mila was the only one who made him glad that Leo had someone.

He didn't think that Mila would end up being such a great sibling for Leo and him. Sensing someone coming to Mila's room, Duke Reynard left to avoid being found. Watching from afar, only Sara went into the room to check up on Mila. He had known that Lady Sydney had never once seen her daughter, which angered him to see that she would refuse her child.
