Mila smiled seeing the knights were all allowed to stay with her father's approval, they had actually listened to her. She found that most knights didn't even have a family or a home to begin with. They lived in the palace knight dorms which the Noble mansion still had dorms open for the knights. All knights were able to move in and live peacefully while at most three had families but they didn't have children or lovers. They had fathers and mothers that they had to take care of and support.

"Lady Mila, we wanted to ask you a question." Mila was sitting down on the grass in the middle between her father and Leo.

Seeing the few knights go up to Mila, she figured they would want a few to ask her a few things. "Go ahead and ask." Mila smiled looking up to them which they found her adorable thinking that she was an angel that fell from the sky.

"Why would you let us live? We didn't protect you. We couldn't do our duty. It even resulted you into having a scar for your entire life." They said wondering how she could accept them into her home.

Her father and Leo watched to see how Mila would take it with the idea that there was no certain or personal reason.

"..." Mila looked to them and could see that they were still bothered by her and probably still cautious of her actions. "Hm..." Mila had them a bit worried but she then smiled to them all that held no anger or vengeance. "Because, I know it's not anyone's fault." Mila said which they just couldn't help but feel their heart ease up and just want to protect her.

"We will forever protect Lady Mila! We pledge our loyalty to you!" Mila already felt their hearts easing up with their loyalty being pledged right before her with her father and Leo there to witness it.

"I'll be looking forward to your work and duties! Let's all be good friends! Bring out the snacks and food for us to celebrate our pledge of loyalty to another!" Mila yelled out with Sara agreeing as she had the maids and servants set the place up. They were sent to a big room for all of the knights and everyone to enjoy the day with a feast.

Mila heard nothing but good things about her as she smiled knowing the rumors would start spreading soon. "You really are a strange child." Mila was sitting at her table with her father and Leo who said it.

"Really?" Mila always thought that she was after she came back from the dead with seeing how much she had been changing.

"To us, you are strange." Leo replied back petting Mila's head as she smiled. Duke Reynard didn't even notice earlier but Mila had brought her blue teddy bear that he gave to her on her first birthday. He couldn't help but smile warmly to see that she still kept the things that he gave her even when she was still an infant.

"Let's go dance!!!" Mila dragged both of their hands to center with them twirling at the center in a circle with everyone clapping and cheering. The music allowing them all to join and soon dance simply for the fun of it.

The day ended with the entire knights stomach filled and happy. Mila could tell that they were all happy to be working for the Noble mansion. Mila got into her room to see Jero giving her an angry look. "Jero! Sorry." She opened the window and allowed him in as she gave him seeds which he rushed to eat since he starved the entire day he stood at her window. Seeing the letter, she took it to read immediately.

'I heard from my friend that you have a 'scar' on your face. What happened? Are you alright?' - ZH

Mila smiled seeing that Jero already told ZH the whole news about her situation and her now scarred face.

'I am fine. This scar is meaningful to me. Looks do not matter to me. What matters to me is the feelings and personality of one. Thank you for worrying about me.' - Mila

Tying it onto Jero's leg, she didn't mind but the rumors were soon to spread about her kind heart.

Rushing to her father's room, Leo saw her going there with her teddy bear which he followed after. Knocking on her father's door, "Come in." Duke Reynard saw Mila who came in and smiled going to him. "Mila, what are you doing here? You should be asleep."

"I want to sleep with father tonight! It's been a really good day!" Mila said with the door opening again for her to see Leo. "Does Leo also want to sleep with us?!" Mila said which Leo obviously couldn't miss this chance with his little sister.

The three of them slept that night in Duke Reynard's bed. Mila being the first to fall asleep, Duke Reynard looked down to Mila who made him feel more alive and happy every time. Looking to see the blue vine scar that ran down the left side of Mila's face. It had him feel the same when his first wife was still with him. The feeling of acceptance and kindness. 'Grace, did you bring Leo and Mila down for me to not feel lonely?' He asked himself seeing both of his two children that he favored the most.

Prince Leroy had been focusing on his studies when he heard about Mila who had a scar from the poison. "What?! How can that be?!" Prince Leroy asked the doctors who cured her to tell him her condition.

"The poison had spread too far which left the scar onto her face for life. There has never been a single scar from a siren to be healed before unless you are willing to find the cure from another kingdom." The doctor explained knowing that it was the truth from her experience. Prince Leroy didn't think that Mila would be ruined for life now.

"I'm going to see her." Prince Leroy left his room, going to the Noble's mansion. He wanted to see how Mila was.

Mila smiled in the garden, "Lady Mila, you have a guest that seems to know you." Mila turned to see Ambrose.

"Ambrose?!" Mila ran towards him and smiled taking his hand and dragging him. "How have you been?!"

Ambrose didn't know what to write and with the mask and cloak covering him at each corner that couldn't show his expression. Mila didn't know how he was reacting or feeling since it took a long time for him to respond. 'How are you feeling?' Seeing Ambrose write down, Mila smiled holding his hand.

"I'm fine! If you ever want to tell me anything then don't mind asking me! You don't have to be afraid of how you look like. I'll be here with you also." Mila said ensuring Ambrose that he wasn't alone.

Seeing his mask move down, she felt as though he could be blushing. She found it cute coming from a quiet boy like him.

"Lady Mila?!" Mila turned around to see Prince Leroy.

'I'm getting a lot of visitors today.' Feeling her eyebrow twitch to know that there were two people who visited her just now. One being the prince that she still didn't want to get to involved with.
