Finishing with her bath, Mila had changed into her usual disguise to hide herself once more. She saw no one in her room and sighed with relief that ZH wasn't in her room. Net was happily wagging his little tail which had Mila smile to see that he was fine.

Mila then heard scratching at the doors of her room, opening it she was caught by surprise with Cotton jumping into her arms. "C-Cotton?!" Mila saw how tightly Cotton clung onto her. "There, there. I won't die easily. Did you already eat?"

*Growl*

Cotton whimpered feeling ashamed with what had just happened. Mila couldn't help but laugh at how adorable Cotton was. [Mila!!!! I'm sorry!!!] Cotton apologized when she did nothing wrong.

[Hey, she didn't say that it's something to apologize for.] Net lectured Cotton who grumbled at him.

[Who's the little slithery beast?] Cotton and Net built tension at that moment.

[Who are you calling slithery?!]

[It's you of course!!!!!]

[You bush tail!!!!]

[Who are you calling bush tail!!!]

Mila sighed seeing how childish both beasts were. [Mila, do you want to toss them both out?] Vivian finally spoke out in her head.

"Vivian, I wanted to talk to you about my mana."

[What do you wish to know?]

"I wanted to know if my mana is really like that. I have too much mana in me that's why I vomited blood." Mila didn't understand how she could've collected so much mana.

[Apparently, it's true. Your body managed to collect so much mana that it couldn't hold anymore. Even with your family symbol, it's still not strong enough to manage all the mana. That's why it had to get rid of something so it had you vomit blood.] Vivian could sense how calm Mila was to hear it all.

"Then, I have to surround myself with beasts to keep my mana stable." Mila didn't understand why she would have so much. "We have to find Skye soon then." Mila held her head setting Cotton down to argue with Net. She kept hearing Net and Cotton still arguing in the background. "I've had enough of this nonsense." Mila left the room leaving both beasts inside to continue to argue. She had finished eating, but Mila wanted to go out and find Skye even though she was a target for the Mana Hunters. 'I rather risk than not.' Mila hopped over the fences and gates that surrounded the entire Maedda palace.

[Mila, aren't you going to get into trouble?] Vivian could see how bold Mila had gotten over time. Even her being badly ill by her mana did not stop her from going on her own to do her 'necessary' things.

"Not unless I go secretly." Mila was just about to go to the ruins once more but was caught in a trap. "What th-!" Her foot had been caught by a rope which was likely something she was supposed to notice.

"Where are you going?" Mila looked to see ZH standing there with Aiken and Vere witnessing the entire thing.

"Well, your suspicion of her running off was accurate." Aiken sighed which made Mila annoyed to see how 'helpful' they were. "I lost the bet."

"You both were betting!!!!!" Mila grumbled since she didn't think they would bet over her running off or not. 'Who do these idiots think they are?!' Mila tried to get the rope off her ankle which was tightly clinging onto her.

"That won't work. Only I could release the rope off you once you step in it." ZH had a smile on while Mila glared at him.

[Mila! Mila!]

Mila gasped looking around even though she was still upside down. "Skye?! Where are you?!" Mila had started shouting out with ZH, Aiken, and Vere confused. "Skye?!"

[Mila, I cannot talk long. Those Mana Hunters are looking for you. You can find me but you have to find their base first.]

Skye was no longer talking after leaving Mila concerned and worried. "Skye?!" Mila was dropped down as ZH held her in his arms.

"Mila?! Mila?!" ZH had snapped Mila's focus to him which she held her head knowing the connection faded. "What happened?! You all of a suddenly called out someone's name." ZH looked upset and angry all at once.

Taking in a few breaths, Mila knew that Skye was likely in danger or held down. "It's my beast. She's in danger." Mila felt exhausted but ZH carried her into his arms.

"Rest for now. You haven't been able to fully recover yet. I'll help you after you get some rest." ZH had taken Mila back to her room. Mila felt a sudden loneliness even though she had Vivian. She wanted warmth and comfort though. Before ZH could leave, Mila held onto his sleeve which caught him by surprise.

"Can you stay here until I fall asleep?" ZH could see her eyes filled with loneliness and sadness.

'You longing for your companion must be painful.' ZH thought and smiled nodding in response to her question. He laid down next to Mila who eventually fell asleep facing him. "We'll get through this together." ZH kissed her head and left her room seeing that she had fallen asleep and was more calm now.

"So, are you both married?" Aiken asked Sara and Emmett who were sitting down next to each other at the table that they were all dining at.

"For now, just engaged." Emmett held onto Sara's hand smiling gently to her. Thelma smiled seeing how sweet it was for them to have someone. Tim couldn't help but love the smile that Thelma held on her face.

Aiken had noticed and decided to mess with Tim. "Tim, I can see you are also longing for someone. Would you like me to arrange a few dates for you?" Aiken laughed inside.

"Y-Your majesty! I am a grown man! I can handle my own personal matters!"

"I don't know. Being almost twenty-seven seems pretty old." Aiken called Tim out who was indeed still single. The entire room fell silent from the news which Tim was highly embarrassed.

"Y-Your. Majesty." Tim was wanting to punch him so much until the room to the dining room opened.

"What's with the tension? Don't start any ruckus since I finally had Mila fall asleep." ZH didn't want them to wake up Mila.

Cotton and Net sat patiently since they had already finished their dinner.

[Hey, do you think Mila will find herself a husband?] Cotton asked Net who was her only current comrade.

[I believe she already has one. It's the man who just came into this room.] Net had a good idea who could be Mila's future husband.

[Huh!!!!!!] Cotton didn't expect that the man known as ZH would be Mila's future husband. [Are you sure?!]

[I mean, he saved her so I'm entrusting Mila to him.]

[I feel like your just spouting nonsense.] Cotton looked to Net who didn't care if she judged him.

"ZH, want to tell us the matter earlier?" Aiken was waiting for ZH to tell them after handling Mila.
