Auris proceeded to give the first statements.

Au: "Alright, here goes. I've played sports, my favorite food is cheese, and I like dogs."

Our classmates snickered for a bit after he spoke.

"Auris, come on. Nobody likes to eat cheese."
"Sports, huh. What team were you in?"
Au: "I've been in a soccer team, a basketball team, and a taekwondo team."
"Ohh, interesting."
"I'll guess the basketball team as the lie."
"I think its taekwondo. What about you, Walter?"
W: "Oh, uh...soccer?"

I didn't really know what sport he really plays, but I do know that he's pretty athletic. Auris looked over to me, then smiled.

Au: "Walter's right."
W: "O-oh, I see."
"Ooh, so you play basketball? What's your position?"
Au: "Oh, I used to play as 'Center' and 'Shooting Guard' back in middle school."
"Ohh, that's cool."
"So, you also do taekwondo, huh."
Au: "A little, yeah. I'm planning to join this school's team, actually."
"Which team? Basketball or taekwondo?"
Au: "If there's a taekwondo team, I'll join that. But if not, then basketball."
"Pretty athletic, huh? I dig that."
"Yeah, that's pretty cool of you."
Au: "Oh, uh, thanks." *laughs nervously*

These girls are definitely flirting with him subtly. Its getting me irritated in a way and I hate it, but I tried to suppress it as much as I could.

"So, any other things to share?"
"Yeah, we wanna know you better."
Au: "Oh, alright. Let's see here...."
"..."
"..."
Au: "I actually can't think of any more, I'm sorry." *nervous laugh*
"Oh, come on. There's gotta be more to you than sports and dogs."
"Yeah, don't be shy towards us. Its okay."
W: "How about your....'lovelife'?"
"Oohhh, that's a pretty interesting topic."
"Yeah, that sounds fun Auris."
Au: "Oh, okay. Give me a sec here..."
"..."
"..."
W: "..."
Au: "Okay, so....I have a girlfriend, I've also had crushes before, and I'm single."
"Its being single, right?"
"Yeah, its definitely being single."
W: "...yeah, I'm with them."

After giving our judgement, Auris suddenly chuckled and laughed for a while.

Au: "Well, in that case, you're all wrong."
"So, you don't have a girlfriend? Really?"
Au: "No, I don't. I just got here, how would I have one so soon?"
"Well, maybe in your previous school, you've had one and maintained it."
Au: "Also wrong. In fact, I've never had a girlfriend before."

My classmates gasped in shock upon hearing that. I wouldn't blame them, I'm also surprised with it as well.

"Well, now, ain't that a shame."
"It really is. Say, are you looking for someone?"
"Yeah, are you interested in anyone in here, so far?"
Au: "Well, I guess I kinda am?"
"Oh-ho? Really?"
Au: "Well, I'm not quite sure yet."
"Well, now. I could help you make sure of that."
"I could help you as well."

I stared at my classmates in disgust. I internally scoffed and laughed at them for sounding desperate to get with him. Its still annoying, but its also pretty funny how easy they think it is.

Au: "I appreciate the offer, but I decline, ladies."
"Oh, its okay, Auris. Just let us know if you've decided."
"Yeah, we're not forcing or anything. We want you to be comfortable."
Au: "Alright. then."
W: ("Pft, you're obviously forcing yourselves.")

After a little while, homeroom was coming to an end. I took my bag from the chair and walked back to the back row. I went to my chair, and I got startled as soon as I sat down.

L: *looks over*  "What?"
W: *breathes*  "Nothing, I just didn't see you."
L: "Hm. So how did it go?"
W: "Did what go?"
L: "Two truths and a lie, huh. Quite interesting pick."
W: "Well, he chose the game. We just followed along."
L: "I see. And how did it go?"
W: "It was fine, I guess."
L: "It that so?"
W: "Yeah."
L: "..."
W: "..."
L: "..."
W: "Oh, come on, are you really doing this again?"
L: "What are you talking about?"
W: "What do you want me to say?"
L: "Its up to you, actually."
W: "Well, I learned that he plays basketball."
L: "okay..."
W: "And, uh....he does taekwondo."
L: "Martial arts, huh. That's quite impressive, I'll say."
W: "Yeah...."
L: "..."
W: "Also...he never had a girlfriend before."
L: "So, he's single?"
W: "Pretty much, yeah."
L: "I see. That gives you a nice chance, don't it?"
W: "What makes you say that?"
L: "Well, he's not taken by anyone, right?"
W: "That doesn't mean he'll look my way either."
L: "That's not for you to decide."
W: "What do you mean?"
L: "Figure it out for yourself."
W: "Whatever, I hate it when you do this."
L: "Hm."

A minute later, Felix and Art came and sat down with us. While waiting for the dismissal, an idea came to my head.

("I think I wanna confess to him.")

After a little while, our homeroom teacher finally dismissed us. I packed all my things in my bag and prepared to leave. As I stood up, my friends immediately walked out the room and left in a hurried manner. I wondered why, but then, I saw Loruel flicked a folded paper near the door. I waited a second before walking to the door and picking it up. After picking the paper off the ground, I went out the room before reading it.

[~Good luck, don't hesitate to say it.]
("WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HECK?! HOW DID HE KNOW?!")

I really hate it when he unpredictably reads my thoughts and just tells me in weird and bizarre ways. But, it kinda relieved me in a way, and gave me some additional confidence. I guess I'll say my thanks to him next week. While waiting for Auris in the corridor, I saw those girls earlier trying to go home with him. I looked away in annoyance, but when I looked back, I saw Auris looking my way for a second.

("He probably saw me, I hope he comes here.")

Suddenly, I heard someone call out to me. My heart stopped beating for a second.

Au: "Hey, Walter!"
W: "Oh...hey, Auris. What's up?"
Au: "Why are you alone, here? I don't see your friends around anymore."
W: "Ah...yeah, they left earlier"
Au: "Well, in that case, wanna go with me instead?"
W: "Y-yeah...I'd l..love to."
Au: "Alright. Let's go, then."

We were a little quiet while walking, and I still couldn't bring myself to utter a word. Thankfully, he brought up the game from earlier.

Au: "I had fun earlier?"
W: "Hm?"
Au: "During homeroom, the game."
W: "Ah, that. I see. I'm glad you had fun."
Au: "Yeah. Although, those girls kinda annoyed me for a bit. But its all okay..."
W: "Heh, sure they were."
Au: "....cause you were there."
W: *silent gasp*  *blush*
Au: "I was relieved you were there, actually. I felt a little more comfortable."
W: *suddenly grabs Auris' hand*
Au: "Oh- hey, where are we going?"

I kept walking quickly until I find an empty alleyway. I took a deep breath and prepared myself mentally before turning around.

Au: "Hey, you okay? What's the matter?"
W: "Look, I know you just transferred here and you barely know people as people barely know you. Even I barely know you as well."
Au: "Is that a problem? We're friends, right?"
W: "I know that....and I also know you won't prefer any more than that?"
Au: "What do you mean? What are you talking about?"
W: "I like you, alright?"
Au: "..."
W: "I like you, I think you're cute and attractive..."
Au: "..."
W: "...and with your face and physique, you won't have a problem looking for someone here."
Au: "..."
W: "But I just thought I'd let you know. You don't have to feel the same of have the need to feel sympathy for me, its alright."
Au: "..."
W: "...at least say something."
Au: "..." *walks closer*
W: "Wh...what are you doing?"
Au: "..." *walks faster*
W: "Wh-wha...what are you...."

"-MMMPH!"
