A few days later Ju-Long woke up and followed his usual routine except, instead of going to the new house to look after the animals he went towards the village head’s house. He was going there to meet with Eldest Uncle Yan’s eldest son, Yan Yun-Zhou, after they had talked they decided that they would meet up today.

They wanted to leave early in the morning so they could go and purchase the yard help and then would be back, since today was also the day that Ju-Long had decided to move into the new house. Besides purchasing the help he still needed to get the ingredients for the house warming that would be held two days later but he figures he could do that on his own.

Eldest Uncle Yan’s wife was all too happy to wait outside with her son, when Ju-Long arrived she reached out and took Ming-Yue carefully. The three children were still sleeping but even then the four aunts couldn’t help but bathe them in kisses. Ju-Long and Yun-Zhou quickly left and went to the new house, eldest uncle Yan still needed to use his cart so they would use Ju-Long’s.

When he reached Cai Shan was already in the yard looking after the animals, a few days when the boy came they had made an agreement that until he bought the help he would pay the young boy to look after the animals. These things could be done by himself but he figured he could still help the boy a little more before their time ended.

The cart was soon attached to the bull and they left the yard, Yun-Zhou, unlike his father, was a somewhat reticent person so even though he had gotten close to Ju-Long over time he still wouldn’t talk to him as much. Ju-Long wasn’t bothered by it, simply because of the abuse he suffered, he was somewhat awkward when it came to communication so he was happy to be around persons like Yun-Zhou.

In this atmosphere, they quickly reached the town and paid for the cart to be watched before they went into the town. Yun-Zhou quietly led Ju-Long through the crowd, looking back once in a while to make sure the other was keeping up with him. Ju-Long felt as if they had walked longer than he usually had when they were in town and couldn’t help but look around.

As he did he noticed the buildings and the area, in general, became better the further they walked, he could tell they had entered the residential area of the town’s richer families. Yun-Zhou walked for a while more and they stopped in front of a tall wooden building, not pausing they went up the stairs and Yun-Zhou knocked twice before he simply pushed the door open and entered.

When Ju-Long followed him in he was brushed by a sudden burst of air that filled his senses with the scent of flowers. He looked around to see they were in an entranceway of a high-class mansion but they weren’t alone. As they walked in a young man dressed in high-class satin robs walked over and smiled at them.

His eyes narrowed and a lyrical but friendly voice left his lips “brother Yun-Zhou, I wasn’t expecting a visit from you, so to what do I owe the pleasure?” As he asked his brows arched slightly.

Yun-Zhou looked at him with his usually stoic face “father sent me” he turned slightly so the young man could see Ju-Long. “This is a new member of our village, he wished to purchase some help to work outside.” After saying that he stepped aside.

The young man smiled and moved closer to Ju-Long as he examined him, he smiled widely “well since you were introduced by my favorite uncle I’ll be sure to show you our best merchandise, just tell me your requirements and I’ll be able to get what you want.”

Ju-Long cleared his throat and stepped forward “Hung Ju-Long.”

The young man hummed his eyes squinted slightly “to everyone who knows me I am Third Si, now that we’ve made acquaintances let’s go.”
Third Si turned around and walked lightly with his robes flowing behind him, Ju-Long looked at Yun-Zhuo who followed after Third Si and quickened his steps. They went into a separate room with a simple sitting area and Third Si took a seat at the head, Ju-Long followed and sat next to Yun-Zhuo.

After they sat a young male walked in with a tray, he put it on the table and took out a notepad. “Tell Third Si what it is you need.” The man spoke in a light voice.

Ju-Long cleared his throat lightly and nodded “I need two strong and healthy young men to work in the yard, for now, it's simple things like looking after animals or a vegetable plot. But when the time comes I’ll start working on the fields, so someone strong, but also listens to orders and won’t think strange things. Also, I have three children with me so it would be best to not have anyone with a dangerous past.”

Third Si smiled after listening to him. “So how young are we talking?”

Ju-Long looked at him and shrugged. Third Si nodded and signaled to the young male, the person quickly left and not long after returned with ten people trailing after him. They were all young boys at the age of thirteen, but they looked as if they have been eating provision since their birth.

“These people should meet your requirements, since you were brought by my brother I made sure to meet all of your requirements. They are all strong enough to meet your requirements but because they are young they would listen well. These children have seen their fair share of life and so they will rely on you, won’t have any different thoughts, and of course, would not mistreat the little ones at home.”

Ju-Long looked at the children and quickly became confused, sweat-filled his palms and he gripped them tightly, he wasn’t too comfortable to buy little children to do his work. He knew what it was like to be raised by people who only viewed you like a mule and he didn’t want to do the same. He sweated a little and stuttered before he shut his mouth.

Third Si arched his brow but sat back and said nothing as he waited for Ju-Long to make his choice.
